I like Raising Cane's. This location is as you would expect. The wait time in line wasn't too bad - the servers were quick to process order and get me through the drive thru. I caught a good window on a Friday late afternoon, a little outside of the heavy lunch rush. The chicken was delicious - not too salty, tasty, great chunks of chicken breast tenders. I fail to see the fascination with a place that has 3 or 4 items on their entire menu. Chicken Finger, 2, 3, or 4 pieces. Chicken Sandwich with the same chicken fingers, and Baked Beans. And some catsup and mayonnaise mixed together to make a dipping sauce. The chicken tastes like it's cooked in week old oil. The baked beans taste like they came from a can you can buy at Dollar tree. So why the fascination with this place escapes me completely. Go to the Walmart and buy a big bag of Chicken strips for less than they sell 4 fingers. My daughter makes me eat here every time we are in town......AND I GLADLY DO SO! Food is amazing. Chicken is always tender and juicy. I wish they would use a batter that held up to moisture a little better but other than that it's fantastic. Canes sauce is probably my favorite sauce on the planet. So so delicious. Exceptionally slow. 25 minutes. I think they lost my order. It was not anywhere near a rush. I've been to Canes where the line was 20 deep. There were three drive in visitors who came during my time. One family with two very small kids right ahead of me. Ordered literally 2 minutes before I did. About 4 more people came in right after me. And maybe 3 groups seated. The restaurant was 80% empty. Manager was struggling with cooks and staff. A trainee was standing there trying to learn watching the one register girl. The manager yelled at her that she could help refills and such. Not rude yelling but he was frustrated. It showed. He had to return two of the three drive through orders as when he inspected them they were wrong. Cooks got a few other things wrong g too. All three people who came in after me got theirs. I was standing there. The manager asked me if I had ordered yet. I said yes 25 minutes ago. He looked up a stack of tickets gave a talk to the two girls up front. Then went back behind the counter in the kitchen. 3 min later he handed me my two Cainiacs to go. And a discount card with a meek apology for some I specific inconvenience. This one needs some serious work to reach Cane standards. The food was perfect. Worth the wait? I was feeding a group 8 for work downtown. We usually grab pizza which is much cheaper! However, I wanted to get them something different to show my appreciation and also something I thought they would enjoy. Unfortunately that is not what happened when I visited on Saturday April 29th. There was a steady stream of customers. So I didn't really think too much of them asking me to pull forward and park. I had heard the car in front of me ask for a jug of tea and the car behind me ask for one meal. So I fully understand my bigger order was something they would need to work on. After waiting for over 15 minutes when I was about to go in to see if they forgot about me, someone came out with the food. My fault I did not check it. However I pulled into their driveway at 1:05. It was now 1:35. I needed to get back to work downtown. I also wanted to get the food there before it got too cold. When I got there the chicken strips were still nice and warm. The fries cold as could be. They seemed to have bagged them when I ordered them and just waited on the chicken. Same with the Texas toast. I ordered 8 toast. We only received 6. We did not get any Cane's sauce. For a company that brags on their sauce so much they want to charge extra for it, it was definitely a strike on good business. Especially when Chik Fil A will give you all the sauce you want for free! There is a reason Chik Fil A is always so busy. My wife and I frequently come here for chicken strips. It is always friendly and fast and the food is usually always hot and fresh. They hand batter their chicken everyday throughout the day and make it mostly to order [depending upon the day part] but it is still very good regardless. The only issue I have personally is the carryout and drive thru. When you have have fried food mixed with bread and cold food the fried food tends to get a bit soggy. But still incredibly good. What a joke. They literally gave me 12 fries as a large order. Potatoes are pretty cheap and their chicken is average. Never again.

French fries were warm so all is good with the food....now let's visit customer service ...,,generally I have little expectations for the folks at the drive thru window (except at the other chicken place ) so when I pulled up to window 1 to pay for my order I was pleasantly entertained by a very friendly lady, who suggested that I try their version on and Arnold Palmer on my next visit and she shared that the drink was made daily by the staff squeezing the lemons fresh for the lemonade part of the Palmer. She sent me in to the next window where she assured me that I would be taken care of nicely......apparently the person at window #2 wasn't feeling quite up to par as I was assured.....she was quite busy entertaining and being entertained by a male co-worker......my drink was sent out the window without so much as a kind word or any word for that matter, eye contact or smile........next bag came out as quickly and "slam" the window was closed and that was that...... I am not one that needs a lot of banter in the drive thru as people are on the move....but this was just not a feel goo moment for me .......oh well I went for food and food I have!!! read more

Sorry but I'm not impressed...7 bucks for a combo which is more expensive than the competition. The tables were dirty...wiped mine off myself. The chicken and bread were good. However, the fries are boring and ordinary. The sauce is god awful and there is no other choice but the canes sauce. I think the worst parts of this location were the terrible location and parking lot. It's all one way and next to impossible to make a left turn out of. My family was not impressed either especially because lemonade refills are not free. Add some alternatives to the terrible sauce and don't charge for refills and we may try a different location.
