    Happy Rudy
    Amber C.

I'm so grateful and thankful I found Susan with Raise the Ruff!!! She took care of my dog Rudy for me while I was on vacation for a week and he had the best time with her! It's like he was at camp for dogs She sent me photos every day and kept me posted with Rudy's stay! She made me feel beyond comfortable to leave my dog with her. I met her and her family and they took care of Rudy as if he was their family dog! She ensured me Rudy would be taken care of and he was beyond what I would ever expect! Pricing is very fair and it's so worth to have your animal taken care of with one on one attention! i'm so happy I found someone so great to take care of my dog when needed Highly recommend

The absolute BEST! I left my three month old puppy for 10 days and she had so much fun! Susan was amazing at communicating and kept me up to date with frequent pictures and videos. I was so nervous to leave my pup with someone, but I am happy to say that she will be back at Susan's house very soon! She had so much fun with all the other dogs and Susan was great with her! 10/10 recommend.

Got my two cats the full grooming service which included bath, full haircut (yes even the hard to…read morereach spots), and a nail trim. One of my cats is harder to manage at times and the staff did so amazingly without giving up and calmed my cat down enough to finish the service. Both my cats turned out amazing. It is obvious they took great care of my fur babies. Highly recommend! And a great bonus was such fair pricing

I tried for 45 minutes to load my K9 into my car and she decided she was NOT GOING. I have never experienced this with my dog. I called the veterinary to let them know I couldn't get my dog into my car. They recommended I call Paws& Claws NV. They sent me a link and they were at my home within 35 minutes. This was a total cold call. They came and of course my dog was excited to meet new friends so she got up. Kenneth & Emery came and actually picked up my poor dog and put them into their dog/cat ambulance. My dog peed in their vehicle because she was scared but they had no problem and were not upset with me more so, they were not upset with my elderly dog. I'm physically unable to do what I used to and to have these people come and pick up my stubborn K9. . The pure guilt I feel for not being able to transport the most loved breathing critter in my life fills me with guilt. This duo of angels were here to help in our time of greatest need. I love my dog so much but am physically unable to get her out of this house because of her ailments and my own. The ambulance was pretty, clean the couple of handlers were all smiles and seriously could not have been nicer. I will always call them from now on and I I'm sure thankful they were available today. I can just make an appointment with them the same time I make an appointment for the love of my life, my sweet rescue dog. Don't hesitate to call paws & Claws NV. I swear they are angels especially to come at the last minute. I wish Paws & Claws the best always and hope they grow to be the huge company they deserve to be! Being disabled is so difficult for owner and pet. Having a lovely couple come last minute to help in the time of absolute emotional distress is PRICELESS!!! Please never hesitate to call them and if you're unable to get your sweetest earth angel from one place to another, call Paws & Claws. I swear , my dog never has to take the back of the line now that I truly have help. It's a terrible feeling to not being able to get your best friend the care they need. The prices is exactly in line with transportation for a human going back and forth to a Dr apt or day surgery. I joked with them and asked if I could have them pick me up after my next day surgery. I love this company so much! Do NOT hesitate to call them. They take credit cards and will send a link to your cellphone so the money was very easy for me to figure out,

The owners…read morewere welcoming, and the employees appeared to enjoy working with dogs, and our pup was happy to be there. We were happy with this place, until we weren't. This camp does not separate dogs by size, so small dogs share space with big dogs. I do not know exactly what happened, but my understanding is that my yorkie was trampled by two or more large dogs that were playing. This incident took place in August 2025. My yorkie sustained serious injuries. He had to have costly surgery, and although it's been well over six months, he's still recovering from this accident. It's sad to watch him struggle to simply walk. And he still cannot run. He use to love playing fetch. Bottomline, if you have a medium or large dog, I would recommend this place. But if you have a small dog, you might want to reconsider. My pup might be the first small dog to get injured in their care, I guarantee he won't be the last.

Our dog Kaya was boarded here for four days. She came back without a scratch, tired from playing, and well fed. We're finally able to go on trips without worries for the well being of our dog aka furry child.

They reached out to me within a couple of hrs after drop off and explained what was happening. They were willing to still work w/him and keep him overnight but I chose to have my sister pick him up instead. They were really caring and their number one priority was Yogy's well being. The fact that I can watch him through the cameras is a huge plus but I wouldn't have known how bad his stress level was if it wasn't for the team's attentiveness. I really appreciate the team for attempting to work with my baby. I would 100% recommend Barx Parx!

But after the third visit, my dog came home injured and passed out for the entire night, which I don't think is very healthy. I got mixed responses on why he might have come home with a limp that lasted about 4 days in the end. It made me think that they weren't watching the dogs properly and there's very little down time for these dogs. Since I can't trust them to watch my dog and make sure that he doesn't get hurt, we've moved on to another place. By the way I've been to several other daycares in town and this never happened so having it happen on only day three of coming here is pretty concerning. Plus it should probably be a red flag that any place charges extra for you to watch what's happening on a webcam so you know what's happening at this place. That would have been very helpful for me to understand what happened to have to keep my dog at home for 5 days to recover.

She had all the basic commands down but I didn't trust her enough around other dogs to walk her off leash. She would even lunge at dogs while on leash if they got too close. She even had a bite incident at one point. I was at a loss. I met with Gregory after having consultations with several other dog trainers in Las Vegas and Henderson. But The Doggy Dojo stood out to me because of Gregory's professionalism and his obvious love for dogs. Upon meeting with him, I was comfortable he was the right trainer for my specific situation. I signed up for the Brown Collar aka Threat Dog program. That included on-leash obedience, off-leash obedience, service dog training, and protection dog training (threat level). Since Shenzi already had the on-leash obedience down, we were able to move to off-leash obedience pretty quickly. Only a couple sessions were focused on on-leash obedience training just to tighten up the way i corrected my dog when she displayed reactive or aggressive behaviors or when she didn't listen to a command. Within the first few off-leash sessions, Shenzi was a completely transformed dog. I was able to walk her off-leash everywhere. And she walks by other dogs without barking, lunging, or displaying any reactive or aggressive behavior whatsoever. She stays at the heel position at all times unless i release her, even with distractions. I even had a couple of situations where other dogs were displaying aggression towards my dog and she stayed calm and continued to walk by my side. And after we got through the service dog training, I've been able to take her to the casinos, the airport, on planes, and in stores with no problem. She literally goes everywhere with me. And now, after threat dog training, she confidently displays aggression only on my command or when a threat is imminent. She's the best companion and protector now. Gregory really takes his time with training. All training is done privately. No group training, which i liked because it allows Gregory to spend adequate time training your dog while also teaching you how to appropriately correct your dog. Essentially he trains you how to train your dog. Gregory will take you and your dog to stores, parks, and other places to make sure your dog is adequately trained in all environments. He also offers a board and train program but i wanted to work with my dog myself.

I booked the Luxury Suite because I wanted her to be comfortable. I also added the "Daily Report Card" to get daily photos and updates. She's 12 years old and we just rescued her last March so we were really worried about leaving her with just anyone. I saw the high reviews on google and yelp so I chose LV Dog Resort II. Staff was really friendly. I called to check up on Mochi once and they did answer my call and assured me she's coping well - that put my mind at ease. I appreciated how nice and friendly they were. There are three things that bothered me a little though: 1) On their website, it stated "We are so confident and committed to providing such a high level of service that we invite you to tour the facility any day between 9 am - 3 pm. Transparency is our middle name!" A few days before our trip, we dropped by to see the rooms but we were told that they don't do tours anymore. If it is for the safety of the dogs, I completely understand but maybe update the website? I was advised to do the virtual tour on their website, which I did and that was cool. I still wish I was able to see the upstairs rooms though to get an idea of how clean they keep their rooms. 2. I paid extra for the "Daily Report Card" which really made me happy to see her photos. However, for some days they only uploaded 2 pictures. Some shots were blurred and really close up. Some days would have the description of her demeanor which was really nice but not all days had that. We only had them on Wednesday and Thursday. I would've loved to get some more context too like "She ate breakfast. Went out for a walk around ___ time." Would've loved to get photos of her room too but the pictures were really close-up. Special shout-out to Mariah for providing 10 photos on Sunday. That made me really appreciate her. It was so nice to see our dog from different angles. She did such a good job! Grace and Jessica gave the description of her demeanor on Wednesday and Thursday. Thank you for that! 3. I chose the Luxury Suite because of the description and the photo on the website. It stated on the website "Our luxury suites provide all of the basic amenities to keep your dog as comfortable as possible and feeling right at home during his/her stay. Each suite is stylishly decorated, as you would expect in a 5-star hotel." Since we did not get to see her room when we dropped her off, we had no idea what to expect but I hoped that it would match the website description. From the uploaded photos of the Daily Report Cards, the room and her bed looked nothing like the website. I think the Royal Suites and Pawhouse Suites matched the website (those rooms are on the first floor so we could see them) but unfortunately, the Luxury Suite did not look anything like the website at all. -- Our dog was fed and I was happy that on one of our Daily Reports, I saw that she was taken to go outside to pee and poop. The staff was very friendly and nice. I just wish we knew what the Luxury Suite really looked because maybe I could've upgraded her to the Royal Suite or something. I also hope the Daily Report Card photos would have more context and have the same amount of photos as what Mariah did. It really helps pet owners feel less worried.
