Gary was great. Came by quickly, we did a walk around of both the house and the garage, he gave me two quotes. One for copper the other for metal gutters that looked like aged copper. They are knowledgeable, honest, professional, clean, courteous and did well finished and polished job putting all new gutters on my 3000 sf Carmel Quail home. Was referred to them by a painting company that was giving me an estimate for an exterior painting job for my home in Pacific Grove. I called spoke with Gary and set up an appointment for an estimate to replace my gutters. Gary never showed up for the appointment. I called after waiting for 30 minutes and still never heard back from him. Not a very professional way to do business and I guess he doesn't care about future clients. read more

Rainman Gutters installed new gutters and gutter covers in 2018 at our home in Pebble Beach. We recently had a branch fall from a nearby tree and cause minor damage to the gutter cover. Gary sent someone out who quickly repaired the cover. He said it was quick and easy to take care of and that there would be no charge. I would use Rainman again without hesitation and recommend this company to friends and neighbors. read more

I have nothing but bad things to say about Gary and Rainman gutters. They did a job over at my home in Morgan Hill, and they put on brand new gutters on my home. I was charged upward of $5000 and every single one of the gutters leak badly. I called him back to fix them and he said he would not and offers no warranty obviously. I also found out that Gary is no longer licensed. He has his California license up on his website, but if you do your research you'll find its no longer valid AND he isn't supposed to be doing any work until he gets his license in order with the State. I do not recommend this company at all, zero stars. read more

We had them remove and replace the gutters around our house. Gary came out gave me a quote, answered all the questions I had, and walked me through the normal process. The price was fair. The new gutters look great, and while they haven't had any use so far I'm assuming they'll work fine. There even solved a couple tricky spots (i.e. electrical wires running through the gutters - yeah pure genius on someone's part 40 years ago). They predicted that it would take one long day and they was about right. They get dinged though for professionalism, or the lack thereof. Gary was sharp; the crew was not.The window was down as the pulled up and the first words I hear are "you have got to be f****** kidding me." Trash falling out the truck as they open the door and pants falling off. Pull up our pants and collect your cigarette butts. I know I hired you, but this isn't your house, act like it. As long as they work they way they are supposed to I'm happy with the final product. Just consider your personal comfort level in regards to professionalism first. I'd recommend them to my friends with that warning, but probably not my grandparents. read more

I should of never hired this company from the get go. I received a referral from Home Depot for this company and I am very sorry that I hired them to do my gutters. The quality of work is cheap. The first day I had the gutters installed they leaked. I called the office and spoke with Heather who was nice but gave me the run around. She never returned my phone calls. I was lucky one time this company came out to my home again to fix the problem but it just got worse. The gutters I had installed are leaking very bad. I have made several attempts to try to get this problem fixed but all i get is the run around. I just dont know what to do anymore. I will be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, the State of California Contractors Board and with Home Depot. I also plan to take this company to court to get my money back. read more

Unsatisfactory. Poor response to follow-up issues. Great response to possible new work. The gutters leak at the downspout. The gutter is low in one corner and does not drain. Nobody will return a phone call. I should call from an unknown number and pretend to have a new job for them. read more

This is the first job Rainman has done for our church, St Mary's By-the-sea on Central Avenue. The gutters on one of our buildings were shot and there was a drainage problem which had accelerated their demise. Gary was responsive and got his estimate done fast. It was the right solution at the right price and he explained what needed to be done to keep problems from reoccurring and have the gutters drain adequately. His guys got the job done on-time and it looked just fine. Now we wait for the rain. read more

Gary scheduled work twice, and did not show up both times. Terrible service... they must be on drugs or something.

This company is very poor with scheduling to do the initial gutter replacement work, quality of work, and follow up to correct their mistakes. I had my house gutters replaced with new ones and the job was not done correctly. After gutter installation, water leaked through corner of new gutters after a next day rain. They made bad corner seals on the gutters. I asked them to come back and fix the problem. All that was needed was an application of gutter sealer to seal corners. They wouldn't come back to make the problem right. I phoned Heather at the front desk four times over two weeks and she said it would be taken care of. Well, no one ever arrived - they ignored me. Very unprofessional company. read more
