Ran into Raining Berries for a quick snack and to kill some time before an event. We got both flavors of the protein balls, chocolate and vanilla. I liked the chocolate better than vanilla, but they were both pretty good. They're an oat/peanut butter/protein powder snack and they're super dense, so great for a burst of energy midday! I'll have to come back and try a smoothie or something next time! It was really hot inside, I'm not sure if the AC was working properly that day.

I was really looking forward to trying Raining Berries, but I was pretty disappointed. The music was explicit and uncensored, which made the atmosphere uncomfortable, especially for a coffee shop were families were coming and going. On top of that, I ordered a latte that ended up being totally bland it tasted like warm milk, not much flavor at all. The only reason I'm giving two stars and not one is because the acai bowl was good. Not the relaxing coffee spot I was hoping for.

Sampled the acai bowl during the Yelp event at the James Museum. Their acai bowl was fresh, vibrant, and delicious. Just the right mix of fruit, granola, and chill. Perfect palate cleanser in a sea of heavy snacks. Loved the presentation and the cheerful energy at the booth!

The aesthetics of this place What a nice place to come hang out, work, or meet with someone. There was a conference room. There's internet. They have a pretty robust menu too. I was there really early and did have to wait a little bit till someone came in from the back. I imagine it is normal service but it was my experience. I picked up food for friends and myself. The avocado toast was really good. It was kinda pricey but it is also downtown st Pete so maybe in line with places nearby.

While staying at hotel near by I noticed this amazing spot. The Chocolate Peanut Butter Smoothie was just the protein i needed to start the day.

'Raining Berries' is for the girls!!! I've never been in such a girly/pink/flowery cafe. Place was full with females. The person I was with was literally the only man. Such a safe and cozy place to catch up or relax on your own. It even has a conference room you can sit in (has a big table for group meets). The egg bites were exactly what I wanted. Side of avocado was fresh. I got an iced matcha which was exactly the taste I like. I also had a sip of the nitro coffee and it was delicious, without any sweetener at all. The aesthetics are perfection. If flirty and fun was the goal, the decor is it.

The bowls are delicious. The decor is fun. The space is clean. The workers are quick and courteous.

Sweet Dreams, Hot Honey Lavender Latte

I'm addicted to this place because it's like dessert but technically healthy. I always get the Sweet Dreams with granola instead of coconut (pictured) and a latte of some kind or a spirulina bowl with nutella, chia seeds, granola, strawberries, bananas, granola and a chocolate drizzle to top it off. It's *chef's I love how much seating they have and the private room is a cool if you need to have a meeting. Music can be loudish if you're planning to work here but it's a great place to do that. I feel like the bowls are kinda expensive. However, this is the only place I've ever gotten these bowls from so do with that what you will.

What a cool little place. The decor is very warm and inviting. The menu is quite extensive. You have Acai bowls, coffee, tea and sandwiches. Basically everything you need. I grabbed a cold artisan tea, called Briar that has hibiscus, lemongrass and a couple of other things I don't recall, and it was delicious! It came in a mason jar for you to keep. The people were nice and welcoming. I would surely come back again and try some of the food and bowls.

Really cute spot, love the aesthetics! The service was speedy and great. Plenty of seating and comfy spots to choose from. Great menu selection as well. I'll be honest id been wanting to come here for-ever but what I did not expect was disappointing coffee. I ordered the honey lavender latte with oatmilk and I've had my share of those all over the country but this was the first time I felt like I was drinking black folgers coffee with a tiny splash of milk in it. Couldn't taste the oatmilk, honey or lavender and it was supposed to be a latte. The server who served me was sweet as can be though but I couldn't drink it. The fruit bowl was nice, it was fruit so didn't require a recipe but felt quite pricey tbh. If anything it inspired me to make fruit bowls at home more!

Liked this place so much, I came two days in a row! I work out a lot and like to have a smoothie after so this being near my yoga studio and Airbnb was perfect :) The interior decoration is so cute and aesthetically pleasing and the smoothies are very tasty and clean. The girls that work here are super sweet and friendly too. All around just a great vibe!

Ordered a chocolate protein smoothie after morning walk. Staff was extremely nice and it came out fast. I'll be back in the morning.

It should not take 25-30 minutes for coffee. If it was packed with customers, I'd understand. The mocha was good, though.

There's dedicated parking for the restaurant behind the building in the lot, plus metered street parking and garages within less than a block. The main entrance is on the side of the building, on 5th Street S just off 6th Avenue S. Outdoor seating is available, but I personally wouldn't choose it, sitting right next to a busy intersection with constant traffic and exhaust isn't my idea of enjoyable. That said, the interior ambiance alone is worth the visit. Inspired by the historic George Peabody Library and part of the Oxford Commons Hospitality group, the design is quirky, fun. The thoughtful mix of bookshelves, warm lighting, rich browns and deep blues, and the seamless blend of library, bar, and dining space creates a truly special atmosphere, especially if you love books. We visited as part of a large group for a special occasion dinner. They accommodated us on very short notice after our original plans changed due to possible rain and outside seating only at our first reservation, which was impressive. Our waitress was fantastic, she handled our entire table (and others) by herself with no buss person and still managed every order and individual request with genuine care and efficiency. I haven't tried breakfast, lunch, the morning coffee/pastry take-out window, or the bar yet, but the dinner experience was excellent. Fair warning: this is not a budget-friendly spot. If you're watching every dollar or might resent the food due to prices, it's probably not the place for you. It's ideal for special occasions or when you want to enjoy a meal without worrying about the cost, each dish/cocktail is in line with upscale dining in the area,it does add up quickly with drinks, apps, entrees, and sides, though I read they have happy hour. We ordered appetizers (shared), I also had the opportunity to sip a few cocktails (when offered), I also shared entrees, and sides with some of our group. Everything we tried was very good, there were not stand-outs, all was scrumptious, from the start of appetizers: the warm bread with its delicious butter spread, the roasted cauliflower, the spicy crispy shrimp, the Steak Frites, the perfectly cooked French fries, and the sautéed spinach, all of which I had a taste of personally. The portions looked modest on the plates but were surprisingly filling, many of us had leftovers to take home. We finished with the warm cookie and ice cream, which was hands-down amazing, especially with the perfect touch of flaky salt on top. The cocktails were strong and creative. My first choice (suggested by the waitress) wasn't quite to my taste, it was too tart and strong for me, but she immediately removed it from the bill and happily brought me something else I enjoyed much more. Overall, The Library delivers a memorable experience, amazing ambiance, a beautiful setting, attentive service, and excellent food. Next time I'm trying breakfast.

The restaurant is uniquely decorated with floor-to-ceiling books and those old-world aristocratic portraits that make you feel like you've stepped into a quaint literary hideaway. We were seated in a cozy corner with high-backed cushioned chairs that felt like our own little private nook. Perfect for a special occasion that's kind of low key. Even though the restaurant was quite busy, the noise level was surprisingly low, which we really appreciated. It made it easy to relax and enjoy our time without feeling overwhelmed. Service was also great - attentive, friendly, and well-paced despite the crowd. Now, the menu... it was honestly hard to choose because so many items sounded amazing. We ended up ordering the crispy Brussels Sprouts and the warmed Burrata to start. The Brussels Sprouts were flavorful and enjoyable, though I personally would have loved just a bit more char on them for that extra depth. The burrata, on the other hand, was packed with flavor - especially if you're a fan of sun-dried tomatoes, this is definitely a must-try. The drinks were a standout, my lychee martini was light, smooth, and refreshing, while my husband's old fashioned was bold and perfectly crafted. He is quite the stickler for a good old fashioned. For our mains, my husband kept it classic with a bacon cheeseburger and fries, which he really enjoyed. It had that delicious smash burger style that hits the spot. I ordered the Chicken Paillard, and it was absolutely delicious--light, fresh, and full of flavor without feeling heavy. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and agreed that we'd definitely come back. There were still so many dishes we were tempted to try, and that's always a great sign. The Library is a unique and memorable spot that's perfect for brunch, date nights, or any special occasion. Give it a try!
