My work location is changing, I will miss my weekly German lunches.

Ya'll know I love this place. Food is so yummy, huge portions and great prices. Service is too notch. Grab a table outside or inside for the cute German feel. They have been voted as st. Pete's best. So don't miss out!!

Very cute place. Service is super excellent and friendly. Totally love this place for its vegetarian and vegan options. Great location to sit outside and people watch. The food is excellent and reminds me of being back in Germany.

They have a small indoor and an outdoor space. The menu is limited. But the food is tasty. I enjoyed the spaetzle though I believe the gravy would be better with a touch of sour cream. As it it was a one-note flavor. But still a good little bowl Of comfort food. The sausage, potato salad and sauerkraut were tasty. Enjoyed the side salad which was well dressed and beautifully presented. The service was kind and prompt. I would return when I'm craving comfort food.

I'm usually not a fan of German food but i love trying anything different. That's what life is all about. Try the BRLO cider classic apple wine. It was extremely refreshing! FYI parking is impossible. But if you're willing to pay you can find space on a side street. I would recommend having dinner here. Good food and good service.

Authentic and delicious! If you're craving real German food, this place delivers. It's no-frills in the best way--focused on flavor, not flash--and the staff couldn't have been nicer. Great location downtown but super casual, no need to dress up. I've been on the hunt for a solid Jäger schnitzel ever since visiting Switzerland last year, and this totally hit the spot. Rich, flavorful, and exactly what I was hoping for. Can't wait to come back and explore more of the menu!

Great place! Who would have thought they would have the most amazing beignets?? I seriously can't say I've had any better. Made fresh and with enough powdered sugar!

We love this place. The curry sauce is so good and they have the best French fries in st Pete. Also great German beer you can't get anywhere else.

It was a comfortable afternoon so the front patio was nice. Our server was courteous and prompt. They have a selection of German beers. The menu is quite small--several kinds of sausages, 3 varieties of schnitzel, and just a few salads & sides. I got the knockwurst and bratwurst with potato salad & sauerkraut--all delicious. The Vienna schnitzel was crispy and came with a lemon wedge. The French fries are the best--coated and so crispy.

We let Yelp pick this place for us. I honestly had no idea it existed, but I'm glad i know it does, now! We drove from Tarpon Springs to St. Pete, and got Princess Parking right in front of the eatery. As the weather was beautiful, we opted to sit outside, and the waiter was wonderful, he made sure to get our drinks, i got a can of coke and my friend got a dark german beer. Both were good. We ordered off the menu, i ordered the Vienna Schnitzel, pork with their Best of the Bay fries my friend got 2 different kinds of sausage, some fries and sauerkraut. The food didnt take long to cook and was delivered piping hot. The fries? They live up to the best of the bay. They are delicious and crispy with a hint of garlic. Absolutely amazing. My schnitzel was a huge serving and I ended up taking 1/2 home. My Friends platter was large, the sausages were served with a good ground mustard, and we got curry sauce, which turned out to be delightful! This place is a hit! When in St.Pete, I'd find this place again. My belly was very happy!

We were walking up Central Avenue looking for a place to eat and found the German Knodle. I have family that lives in Germany, so I'm always on the lookout for a good German restaurant in town. We had to give this place a try. We were seated right away by the owner, she was so friendly! I even got it practice my German with her. We chose to sit outside and enjoy the wonderful weather. The place is simply decorated, but has delicious food. I tried their 'Vienna Schnitzel' and it was delicious. My fiancé tried their 'Jager Schnitzel' and thoroughly enjoyed it. We both tried their potato salad as a side, and it was delicious. We loved the raw onion in there! We enjoyed some German beer along side our meal. The service was quick and friendly. The place was super clean too. The next time we're in St. Pete we will definitely be back. Highly recommend the German Knodle as a place to enjoy some good German food and beer!

For vegans looking for a place to eat with their meat eating friends this is a great place to go. The vegan homemade sausage with sauerkraut is really good and the outside dining is so cool. Really has the St Pete vibe. Server very courteous and friendly.

We started with the crispy pork belly, which looked a little on the drier side when it arrived but don't let that fool you, the brown sugar bourbon glaze it was dressed in was delicious. Really enjoyed it as a starter. The tavern burger came highly recommended as one of their best dishes, and while it was a good burger, it didn't quite blow us away. Surprisingly mild on flavor despite the toppings, and it's a BIG boy... which I know some people love, but I tend to prefer a smash burger so I'll take partial responsibility for that note! The fries, however, were excellent... textured, crispy, exactly how fries should be. The real standout of the visit was the chilaquiles (the chef's brunch special). It ran a little dry, but the flavors more than made up for it. The combination of crunchy tortilla chips, smoky sauce, pickled onions, egg, avocado, and cilantro all together was just so good... my boyfriend was equally obsessed. Would absolutely order again. Service was great and overall had a really enjoyable visit... Stillwaters continues to deliver a solid experience and I'll keep coming back!

The standout for me was easily the meatballs. Super tender, rich without being heavy, and the kind of appetizer that immediately makes the table go quiet for a second. I'd go back for those alone. I also had the chicken cacciatore which felt very comforting but still elevated. The sauce had that slow-cooked depth that tastes homemade in the best way, and the chicken was cooked perfectly without drying out. Drink-wise, the Hugo Spritz was a surprise favorite. Light, crisp, refreshing, and dangerously easy to keep ordering in Florida weather. Service was attentive without hovering, and the whole place has that warm Italian energy that makes you want to stay longer than planned. Definitely one of those spots that works equally well for a casual dinner or when you want somewhere that still feels a little special.

A straightforward menu gives a decent variety and the chef delivered on the flavor. We had the egg Benedict the Gudda grits, and the (not so) French toast. Overall, the food was delicious, but I was extremely disappointed with the "French toast" for some reason, the chef opted for not doing an egg/milk bath for their French toast, which to me is a grave mistake, who wants to dry French toast? This liberty could be excused, and tolerable for the sake of creativity and innovation, IF it was openly, shared on the menu, or by the server. However, this came to a COMPLETE surprise to me AFTER ordering and receiving it. I've never had DRY French toast, nor do I ever wish to again despite the tasty toppings and well executed cinnamon butter cream, it was still not an enjoyable experience, especially if you're expecting classic French toast. That said the eggs Benedict was phenomenal. The pork is perfectly cooked. The biscuits are light and fluffy. And the sauce was immaculate. The Gudda grits surprise me while not being creamy in the same way of grit, I've had in the past, these retained their grit structure, but it kind of melted in your mouth, providing that creamy texture and they add chopped bacon and a sweet I would guess type of reduction in just the right amount to balance the flavor of the Gudda. I do wish they had sausage and hash browns. But it's not that kind of place. My last complaint would be in the potatoes that come with the Benedict. Whatever other option, they have picked those get anything, but those ours came undercooked, and they refried them for us, and they still were just below average which for a place like this. I expected more. Overall, not a bad place. The coffee was phenomenal. I had a dirty Matcha, and it was perfectly executed. Prices aren't terrible for what you'd expect from downtown St Pete at a fancy place, so I was happy. Service was good and friendly. After I expressed my dissatisfaction with the French toast, the manager came over and offered his apologies and remove the item from my bill, even offered to bring us something else, and to have a beverage to go to make up for it. However, I was at the end of our mail and I was ready to get going with the rest of my day, so I said thank you and we departed. Overall, I will not come back for French toast but that eggs Benedict. I would definitely come back and try something else as well. Give it a shot. Just DONT get the French toast. If you like normal French toast.
