    Power Acai Bowl

"Delightful" is a word I don't use often yet it's the right word to describe this place. Nice gal that works the front. Teeny tiny place in the plaza so it's more of a grab and run with the exception of some outdoor seating with shade. "I got the power!" (The Power by Snap!) Played in my head after I took my first bite. Definitely a must for any beach goers in the area.

Our family loved the bowls we got at Playa Bowls! They were fresh and filling. I thought they were well sized for the price. My daughter really loved the coconut base, lol! It's a great spot to grab a bowl before or after visiting the beach. Very refreshing on a hot day!!

    Sofi is a big fan!

Amazing açaí and smoothie bowls! They even filled up Sofi's water bowl for her. Staff was amazing and it's such a cute beachy area. A perfect midday stop for a snack or smoothie to cool down!

    Beautiful space with outdoor seating..

LOVE LOVE LOVE Playa Bowl! You can get just about any combo you like in a smoothie, bowl or juices. The menu is so vast, you have to look it over carefully. So many choices, so little time. They use the organic coconut milk here so I had to have that with some Dragon Fruit! Lucky for moi, that is already listed on the menu as the "Pink Pataya" So refreshing. I think it should be changed to the "Pink Dragon" OuiOui. The space is super cute & has the most gorgeous herringbone floor I have ever seen. Very cute shop! And the best part is the service is super friendly & cool vibes all around. OuiOui. The two lovely employees there were having such a great time together, the one lady even held up my Pink "dragon" smoothie haha so I could insta Yelp it. LOL. My #1 fave place on the island now. "See y'all tomorrow!" (repeats loop) OuiOui. Highest Recommendations.

    Açaí bowl

Their açaí bowl is fantastic; the base is flavorful with the characteristic flavor of açaí, not blended with other fruits (like many other locations do)! The toppings are fresh and generously served! Highly recommend!

Omg the best! Came here two days in a row. A must-stop in St Pete Beach. Everything the have is amazing

Nutaya Bowl but I got (half pitaya and half açaí) soooo good!

The employees were so nice and answered any questions I had! They also gave me a couple of samples to try! The place was so cute and also had an outdoor seating area. The açaí bowl not only looked great but was also delicious!

First! Grand opening this morning July 15, 2023! Delicious addition to the beach. We tried the tropical, with mango added, and a custom bowl Pura Vida with kiwi and mango added. They have a huge assortments of fresh fruits you can add, toppings, granola, etc.

This picture does not do these bowls justice. They were BEAUTIFUL and absolutely delicious!!!! We will be back!

These pictures do not do these bowls justice. They were absolutely beautiful and more importantly delicious. We will definitely be back!

I liked the bowl and toppings but I think it was just a bit tooo sweet. Would still go back for a pre or post beach snack!

Was craving an acai bowl while on vacation in the area and I'm so happy we found this place!! The nutella acai bowl was unreal and I ended up going back and getting it several more times during my trip because it was so good! They have so many options and the bowls are a great size with great portions... bigger than most other places I've been to. I went multiple times with 3 different people who tried several different bowls and they each raved about their bowls, but I couldn't stop ordering the nutella bowl!

Yay! An açaí bowl place right next to the beach - this place is so strategically perfect. Even though it's small, the menu is HUGE. I definitely left my comfort zone to try a new green base (kale + fruit + coconut milk), and really enjoyed the flavors. Additionally, the portions were much bigger than what I'm used to. I'll be a repeat customer for sure.

After spending the morning on the beach, we decided to transition to the pool. Coconut Charlie's services the Hilton Garden Inn pool which was very convenient because we weren't in the mood to walk further or drive somewhere for lunch. We placed an order from the pool and they brought our food in to-go containers. We ordered the following: Spicy marg Grilled mahi mahi tacos Chicken tender platter The spicy marg was good and had a nice kick to it. I was pleasantly surprised by the size of the mahi mahi. Definitely not stingy. It came with tortilla chips and a small container of salsa. The flavor was light. My husband got the chicken tender platter which came with a generous amount of chicken and fries. I helped him eat some of the fries which were cooked pretty well. Coconut Charlie's is a great, convenient option especially if you're spending the day at the beach!

After a while, they stopped coming to our table. We also weren't given silverware. The food was decent. The fish tacos were good but kinda bland. I asked for extra salsa, and didn't realize the small size was $3 extra. It was a bit on the pricier side for being such a casual place.

There's dedicated parking for the restaurant behind the building in the lot, plus metered street parking and garages within less than a block. The main entrance is on the side of the building, on 5th Street S just off 6th Avenue S. Outdoor seating is available, but I personally wouldn't choose it, sitting right next to a busy intersection with constant traffic and exhaust isn't my idea of enjoyable. That said, the interior ambiance alone is worth the visit. Inspired by the historic George Peabody Library and part of the Oxford Commons Hospitality group, the design is quirky, fun. The thoughtful mix of bookshelves, warm lighting, rich browns and deep blues, and the seamless blend of library, bar, and dining space creates a truly special atmosphere, especially if you love books. We visited as part of a large group for a special occasion dinner. They accommodated us on very short notice after our original plans changed due to possible rain and outside seating only at our first reservation, which was impressive. Our waitress was fantastic, she handled our entire table (and others) by herself with no buss person and still managed every order and individual request with genuine care and efficiency. I haven't tried breakfast, lunch, the morning coffee/pastry take-out window, or the bar yet, but the dinner experience was excellent. Fair warning: this is not a budget-friendly spot. If you're watching every dollar or might resent the food due to prices, it's probably not the place for you. It's ideal for special occasions or when you want to enjoy a meal without worrying about the cost, each dish/cocktail is in line with upscale dining in the area,it does add up quickly with drinks, apps, entrees, and sides, though I read they have happy hour. We ordered appetizers (shared), I also had the opportunity to sip a few cocktails (when offered), I also shared entrees, and sides with some of our group. Everything we tried was very good, there were not stand-outs, all was scrumptious, from the start of appetizers: the warm bread with its delicious butter spread, the roasted cauliflower, the spicy crispy shrimp, the Steak Frites, the perfectly cooked French fries, and the sautéed spinach, all of which I had a taste of personally. The portions looked modest on the plates but were surprisingly filling, many of us had leftovers to take home. We finished with the warm cookie and ice cream, which was hands-down amazing, especially with the perfect touch of flaky salt on top. The cocktails were strong and creative. My first choice (suggested by the waitress) wasn't quite to my taste, it was too tart and strong for me, but she immediately removed it from the bill and happily brought me something else I enjoyed much more. Overall, The Library delivers a memorable experience, amazing ambiance, a beautiful setting, attentive service, and excellent food. Next time I'm trying breakfast.

The restaurant is uniquely decorated with floor-to-ceiling books and those old-world aristocratic portraits that make you feel like you've stepped into a quaint literary hideaway. We were seated in a cozy corner with high-backed cushioned chairs that felt like our own little private nook. Perfect for a special occasion that's kind of low key. Even though the restaurant was quite busy, the noise level was surprisingly low, which we really appreciated. It made it easy to relax and enjoy our time without feeling overwhelmed. Service was also great - attentive, friendly, and well-paced despite the crowd. Now, the menu... it was honestly hard to choose because so many items sounded amazing. We ended up ordering the crispy Brussels Sprouts and the warmed Burrata to start. The Brussels Sprouts were flavorful and enjoyable, though I personally would have loved just a bit more char on them for that extra depth. The burrata, on the other hand, was packed with flavor - especially if you're a fan of sun-dried tomatoes, this is definitely a must-try. The drinks were a standout, my lychee martini was light, smooth, and refreshing, while my husband's old fashioned was bold and perfectly crafted. He is quite the stickler for a good old fashioned. For our mains, my husband kept it classic with a bacon cheeseburger and fries, which he really enjoyed. It had that delicious smash burger style that hits the spot. I ordered the Chicken Paillard, and it was absolutely delicious--light, fresh, and full of flavor without feeling heavy. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and agreed that we'd definitely come back. There were still so many dishes we were tempted to try, and that's always a great sign. The Library is a unique and memorable spot that's perfect for brunch, date nights, or any special occasion. Give it a try!
