Today was my first time going to Raincharmer Beads, and I just want to say they were so incredibly warm and friendly. They have a lot of events/classes they host to the community which are very accessible price wise and available throughout the week. It was wonderful to go to a specialty store, where I wasn't made to feel dumb for not knowing things. Which a lot of time is fairly common among most hobbies. I have been going to Raincharmer Beads for over a year now and have learned so much from both Carol and Linda. Carol is amazing with beading and creates some absolutely beautiful jewelry that is sold at the store, and I have a number of her bracelet creations. Linda teaches wire wrapping, painting, Kumahimo (sp?), macrame, viking weave and so much more. I've never been so happy not knowing anything about what I'm doing but learning from such wonderful teachers. I can get into some serious trouble in the rock box! Who knew! I love the selection of quality beads. They also have unusual beads as well as great findings to complete the project! There is an assortment of different threads and colors, as well as other tools. They also offer a military discount. The staff is also great! I live in Goodyear, so, it is a bit a a drive for me, but definitely worth it! read more

I drove 25 miles each way after confirming with the store that they had certain gemstone beads I was looking for. They did not, and the quality they had was not great. They do have a lot of seed beads and other cheaper types of beads. read more

Nice clerks, however they did not know where to direct me to the size bead I was looking for, didn't have a tool to measure my bead holes, and didn't know they carried a bead hole tool kit. Was told to look in clearance box for luck. Probably won't go back, but it was the closest to where I was that day. read more

The owners are very helpful and patient. They were willing to sit down with both myself and my teenage daughter to teach us how to string and know a beaded bracelet. Delightful shop. I'm not a beader, but my mom is and I brought her here. The owner was thoughtful in working with my mom, who is hard of hearing--she spoke loudly, clearly, and at a moderate pace. Beautiful beads, and also gorgeous ready-made jewelry. I purchased an amazing bracelet and my mom liked it so well she ordered one herself. She followed them to their various locations at other swap meets across the West Valley. And now they've had their very own storefront for just over a year and, yeah, I'm a regular there, too. You'll find us beading, learning, teaching, socializing, and enjoying the day there most Saturdays along with other regular customers, new customers, and Linda and Carol who run the place and set the tone for the inviting, casual atmosphere. In addition to offering a large variety of beads, beading supplies, wires, findings, and completed jewelry (necklaces, bracelets, earrings, rings, and more), they offer drop-in classes. That's right. No appointments or set times. If they've made a piece you're interested in learning how to make, stop in, purchase your materials, and they'll guide you through the design from start to finish for free. The exception is for wire wrapping classes. Because of the materials involved, there is a $10 fee for that. I Love Love love this Bead shop! I haven't been here in some time, however I plan on going to take a few classes with my daughter this month... The 1st time I took my then 13 year old she was less then enthusiastic, and I got the feeling from her that it wouldn't be cool enough. However when we got in the bead shop her eyes lit up and she was like a kid in candy store! She had a fascinated look on her face as she was looking at the plethora of beautifully different beads... We chose our design and the nice woman taught us with such patients how to create our bracelets. Well Ashley was like a natural she made to bracelets in one sitting... I recently found this place when I was looking to make brackets out of semiprecious stones Not only do they have an abundance of stones and beads the owner was able to special order specific beads that was looking for in the exact size I was looking for at a very good price much better than a lot of places I have looking st across the valley. The customer service is amazing and Carol was a joy to work with she actually helped and showed me how to make braclets so patiently she is a charmer !!! The first time I went to Raincharmer Beads, I was a bit apprehensive. I had been to a few other bead stores and didn't have the best experiences. At one bead store, I was barely even acknowledged while at another I was watched closely the whole time I was there. When I walked into Raincharmer, I was greeted immediately and shown around the store. My primary interests in beading are bead weaving and bead embroidery. I was very happy to find a huge selection of seed beads. They have a multitude of sizes, styles, colors, and finishes. There are also strands of fire-polish, semi-precious, and glass beads. As I was checking out, the owner let me know that they offer free beading classes and signed me up for the email list so I wouldn't miss any specials. This is great little bead shop and I am happy to support a local business. read more

I LOVE this store. They have a good collection of beads and materials to purchase. They also offer very affordable classes (I believe they only charge for materials) that are a lot of fun and you would be surprised what you learn. The people here are very friendly and welcoming. I loved this store! They were extremely helpful with a couple of unique projects I needed assistance with. Carol spent a lot of time with me and used her expertise to help me create 2 one of a kind necklaces that I love. She had to think outside the box to accommodate the materials I had and she was very willing to experiment until both pieces were perfect. I really liked the friendly relaxed atmosphere of the store and the people there made me feel welcome. I also found some additional products there to help me complete my necklaces. Spending a few hours there was a very positive experience and I will return with any additional beading needs I may have. I also thought they had some interesting creative classes being offered. Been here twice now. Quality of the semi-precious and stone beads is very high. Good selection for a small store. Greeted as I entered, and asked every now and then if I needed help. They let me wander at my own speed. When asked for help in color matching, the owner brought over several ideas. read more
