Just got my rear windshield tinted at Rainbow Window Tint and I couldn't be happier with the results. The job came out perfect -- clean edges, no bubbles, no haze, and it looks factory-installed. I initially came here in 2017 to get my brand new Toyota Yaris iA tinted after a recommendation from a friend who had taken his Alfa Romeo here. They had a Groupon at the time but I got a better deal when I went to purchase it without the deal. They're a fairly small shop and only took about an hour or so for it to be done and I was very satisfied. About last year, my tint started to bubble and I just didn't have enough time to get it replaced especially since I had moved out of the county. I reached out to them on Yelp again, got back to me within a few hours, and I came to their shop around 4pm on a Friday afternoon and was done in LESS THAN AN HOUR! I was quoted about $80 for removal and $80 for reapplication at the limo tint level. I don't know what kind of tint it was but I told them I really didn't need something expensive because I wasn't really planning on keeping my car for a long time. Their waiting room has complimentary sodas and water bottles for you and the only thing I didn't like is that it's a dead zone so I spent my time outside the shop while waiting for it to be completed. Once done, I was told not to touch it for 2 days and they disclosed the 2-year warranty for the product along with an itemized receipt. Overall, I was very pleased with my service and positively recommend their shop for those looking to get a great deal on their car tints. (6/50--2024)

They use high quality 3M ceramic tints & do an excellent job! ** FYI ** Little known fact: Automobile factory tint simply colors the glass with dye. It gives zero protection against UVA, UVB sun rays & heat! Factory tint is purely cosmetic. 4 years ago I had a minivan fully tinted with 3M ceramic; VLT 70% windshield, VLT 35% windows & rear. It is phenomenal! I still can't emphasize the huge impact it makes with improved comfort! LA is sunny & it can get HOT! Good quality all-around window tint keeps it nice & cool in the car. Now I have all my vehicle windows tinted. I had an excellent experience here & have not had any problems or issues! * Warning: Vehicle original factory glass tint + tint film will create a darker resulting final tint. * TIP: Remember your SunRoof! Remember to have it tinted as well. I never considered the SunRoof until somebody mentioned it while riding in my newest car. The SunRoof probably gets the MOST direct sunlight & heat anywhere on the car! None of the SunRoofs are tinted. I had to individually bring back each one of my cars to have the SunRoof tinted, because I forgot about it. - It took me more than a week to correct that oversight. The team of window tinters are able to divide a vehicle in half and complete a tint assignment is just over a hour. They work very efficiently with precision. There's a "menu board" of window tint films and prices, so there's no questions about the cost. Prices are very reasonable and warranty information is right there for you to see. The only thing I can suggest is, keep your opinions about a persons vehicle to yourself. The manager made a comment about my vehicle, not realizing I worked for Honda.

I had a great experience at Rainbow Tint. I got my mid-sized SUV tinted and also a dash-camera installed. Ken was patient and knowledgeable. He walked me though all of the options and didn't pressure me into purchasing anything more expensive than I needed. The tinting and the camera installation was done right when he quoted, about 2 hours. Ken took the extra steps to program my dash camera for me, and explain how it worked to me. I didn't even buy it from him! But most important to me, I watched him interact with his employees and he is a genuinely nice guy and treats his team very kindly. read more

Ken is very easy to work with. He does very quick and efficient work. I walked across the street to get some lunch while he worked on my car, when I returned my car was just about finished. I brought my car to get the old tint removed and get some new tint done on my car for the front 2 and the back 3 and the results were amazing. I am finally able to see through the rear windshield and all my windows look perfect they are smooth no bubbles or anything. Recently bought a Honda Hatchback and needed my windows tinted asap. Did some research called a few places and they were charging me about $200 to get them done. I was then referred by a friend to Rainbow Tint and they offered me an affordable price with 5 year warranty. Can't beat that! This place is bit small but the techs are very friendly and nice. Showed up at 9am and was the first person. Its first come first serve and they completed my tint within an hour. I got front windshield, two fronts, two backs, and back windshield tint of the tint I had already. It came out to 280 No warranty. And they had waiting area with drinks and tv. Im very pleased with everything and love my new tint. Would recommend 10/10. read more

Brought my car in today to get tinted initially when I called the guy who answered the phone was really cool and told me share bring the car down when I got there they started the job right away they had a nice narrow waiting area with TV and complementary drinks something that you don't usually find at window tinting places so overall great service and they did a really good job I recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice tint job. read more

It's been over a week since getting my 4Runner tinted. I found Rainbow Tint from a review of another shop that I was going to go to originally. The other shop quoted me some outrageous prices, double what rainbow said. The guys at Rainbow did a great job. Their prices were the best of all the estimates I got. They booked me in within 2 days of contacting them, and it only took a little over 2 hours to do all my windows, including the windshield. I went with ceramic, and it was worth it. Noticeable difference in the car from the sun. I would definitely recommend this place. read more

Found them on yelp called them the same day on a Saturday and they were able to work on my car they removed my old tint (due to fading and bubbling) and install new tint. They were extremely helpful and they have alot of options for people with a budget or if you want high quality tint. I picked the full ceramic tint with lifetime warranty for my C300. They did an awesome job highly recommend. They price was very competitive. read more

I didn't catch the name of the technician who did my tint, but he did a great job. He showed me the difficult areas on my 2017 Toyota Prime after the job was finished and told me not to use the windows for 3 days because of these areas. I arrived on a weekday around 10:30 and he was available instantly. I took a walk and came back 90 minutes later while he was finishing up. They have a permanent $99 special which I assume is for the back three windows. My Prime had 11 windows so my price was a little more but everything looks great and the inside of my car is so much cooler now. You might have a hard time finding Rainbow Tint because it's actually on 165th street and not on Vermont. Just go to that intersection and you'll see it. They also do stereos and alarms, so if I ever want an upgrade I'll be back. read more

They left deep scratches in my upper left front windshield after I asked him nicely to remove the tint because I wasn't satisfied with the work. I approached him well so he had no reason to deep scratch my windshield. I assume he did it out of anger. It makes your business look pretty unprofessional my guy. I do NOT recommend this place after this negative experience!!! Unacceptable. read more

Came in as they opened they were already getting started with another customer but took me in and gave me options to choose from and a quote. No hidden fees it was cut and dry and easy. Install took about an hour which is great and I waited in the little waiting room they have with free drinks. It's been a few days and install looks great. Highly recommend, everyone was pretty cool. Ken is a pretty funny dude to talk to I went a couple weeks ago to get my window carbon film tinted and his prices are definitely cheap if not reasonable I noticed one side of my tint was lifting, but as soon as I noticed he told me to come in and they fixed it right away. Since then I really have no issues with it and the tints been doing what it has advertised to do aside from tint they also offer after market stereos and sound systems as well as alarms definitely would come back to get tint and or audio done in the future read more

Great place to get your windows tinted! The staff is super nice and really helpful when it comes to deciding what shade you want. They werent acting like salesmen by trying to sell you something, they just geniunely wanted to help! The price is extremely fair and the time they take to tint my windows was fast. I was able to walk down the street to grab some tacos for lunch and by the time I came back they were finishing up! More then happy with the service they provided. read more

A hidden little ghetto gem if you will but a great one, really can't beat the prices. I got exactly what I wanted. More then 50% off of what other shops were quoting me for 35% tint all around. I will definitely be coming back for windshield tint in the near future. I was there less then an hour and have 5 year warranty on my tint. I'll follow up and let you know how the tint last. Maybe I'll even come back for a light windshield tint. read more

With all the crazy drivers on the road, we decided to get a dash cam for our Lexus. At the LA location, we purchased a 4k dash cam system from them. The system has both front & rear cameras. Sean did a great job with the installation of both cameras. The system is straight forward to use. And at this LA location, they also offer installation for customers who bring their own dash cam. Our Toyota already has a dash cam, but, we decided to get ceramic window tint film installed due to the strong California sun. The LA location (which is closer to us) doesn't do window tinting on weekends. So we booked a Saturday appointment at the Gardena store. We didn't mind the far drive since we were so happy with the service at the LA store. We arrived at the Gardena shop, and, it was nice to see Sean again. I decided to go with light ceramic tint on the front side windows. And, I choose a darker ceramic tint on the back, and, rear side windows. We were told that it would take approximately 2 hours for the installation to be complete. The time we spent driving to Gardena, and, waiting for the tint film to be installed was well worth it. The back window & the side windows look great, and, our car definitely feels cooler inside. We're giving K Tint & Dash Cam a top rating because of the terrific work done on both of our cars. The dash cam system in our Lexus, and, the ceramic window tinting on our Toyota were both professional done.

With all the crazy drivers on the road, we decided to get a dash cam for our Lexus. At the LA location, we purchased a 4k dash cam system from them. The system has both front & rear cameras. Sean did a great job with the installation of both cameras. The system is straight forward to use. And at this LA location, they also offer installation for customers who bring their own dash cam. Our Toyota already has a dash cam, but, we decided to get ceramic window tint film installed due to the strong California sun. The LA location (which is closer to us) doesn't do window tinting on weekends. So we booked a Saturday appointment at the Gardena store. We didn't mind the far drive since we were so happy with the service at the LA store. We arrived at the Gardena shop, and, it was nice to see Sean again. I decided to go with light ceramic tint on the front side windows. And, I choose a darker ceramic tint on the back, and, rear side windows. We were told that it would take approximately 2 hours for the installation to be complete. The time we spent driving to Gardena, and, waiting for the tint film to be installed was well worth it. The back window & the side windows look great, and, our car definitely feels cooler inside. We're giving K Tint & Dash Cam a top rating because of the terrific work done on both of our cars. The dash cam system in our Lexus, and, the ceramic window tinting on our Toyota were both professional done.

My family has been coming to this shop for years under the previous ownership. Between our family…read morealone, we've probably brought around 8 cars here for window tinting, and we've also referred friends and others because we always had great experiences here. Unfortunately, after our experience with the new management/ownership, we will not be coming back. My mom's rear window tint was about 4 years old and had started becoming blurry/worn, so my dad brought her car back to have it replaced. Since the original tint was done under the previous ownership, we didn't come in expecting them to honor the old warranty. We paid for the old tint to be removed and for a brand-new tint installation on the rear window. The very next day, my dad noticed one or two small bubbles from what appeared to be dust trapped underneath the new tint. He went back and asked if they could redo the rear window since the work had literally just been done the day before. The owner/manager refused to redo it. My dad then asked if they could at least try to squeegee the bubbles out, and he wouldn't do that either. Instead, his solution was to remove the tint completely, refund my dad, and tell him he could take his business elsewhere. My dad did not want to go through the hassle of having the tint removed again and then having to find another shop to redo it, so he even asked if they could at least offer a small discount since they weren't willing to correct the work. That wasn't an option either. What's especially disappointing is that this shop has always been known for its lifetime warranty on tint, yet apparently a problem with a brand-new installation can't even be corrected the very next day. We weren't asking them to warranty the old 4-year-old tint from the previous ownership. We paid for new work, noticed an issue immediately, and simply expected the shop to stand behind the work they had just completed. Things happen and we understand that dust or an occasional bubble can happen during tint installation. The bigger problem was how the situation was handled. Rather than trying to make the work right, the response to a longtime customer bringing up a legitimate concern was essentially to refund us and tell us to take our business somewhere else. It's sad because the previous ownership always provided great service, quality work, and stood behind what they did. That's why our family continued coming back with car after car and recommended this place to other people for years. Unfortunately, the service and quality are not what they used to be. We'll be taking the owner's advice and bringing our cars elsewhere from now on, and we will no longer be recommending this shop to friends or family.

Luxury Glass is a Llumar Pro shop (and the only one on the westside), so I knew if I went with them they were going to be top notch. When I arrived at Luxury I was already nervous about someone else working on the car. But they were able to satisfy my every concern. Everyone at Luxury Glass was very professional. The shop was immaculately clean. They masked all the trim on the interior, all the tint panels were cut by printer and then refined on a glass board (no using the exterior of the windows as a template and cutting the rubber gasket like the last guy). They went above and beyond explaining to me and showing me the different tint shades and made sure I was satisfied with my decision. They ripped out the bad tint job and installed new Llumar Pinnacle Ceramic tint; at the end of the job I got a warranty card with the tint used and even the batch of the tint rolls used in case I ever need to file a warranty claim with Llumar in the future. This final touch was really what gave me the peace of mind I was chose the right place after making a mistake at first. From start to finish I felt so comfortable letting them do the work and would recommend for anyone looking for quality tint installation!
