To create a more open walkway between our kitchen and living room, we needed an extra tall, narrow 30" x 80" European-style refrigerator. As it turns out, the only freestanding model sold in the U.S. that fit our requirements is made by the German brand Liebherr. The frustrating part was that although other retailers near us offered the refrigerator for sale, none of the showrooms had the model on display. But guess who did? Snyder Diamond! So we made our way to Pasadena, and we're glad we did. Linda warmly welcomed us and immediately took us over to the Liebherr refrigerator. It is beautiful, well built and checked every box on our wish list. Linda was very knowledgeable and generous with her time. We ended up walking around the showroom with her, picking her brain about everything from kitchen fixtures to appliances. When I mentioned I was a coffee addict, she even offered me a cup from their built-in Miele machine--a small gesture that reflected the personal service we received. The showroom itself is beautifully organized, with a huge variety of high-quality appliances and fixtures. We highly recommend anyone planning a kitchen or home renovation to visit this family-owned business. They've been in business for decades, and have an interesting history to share. I have used them before but many years ago. So I arrive and there is a small fridge blocking the path to get in so I call the number outside and Hector answers the phone, told him if he was able to come out and he said come right in. So I moved the fridge to give me space, while moving it I saw Hector come out. Went inside and told him if he could see my gas dryer at home and how much would it cost for the home visit. He said $20 and if I made the repairs with him it will be waived. He arrived about a half hour later or so and came in. He was polite and honest. He saw the dryer and knew what it needed. He said he normally charges $115 to fix it but he will charge me $95 and have it working for me in no time. He already had the parts in hand with him since I told him back at the store my dryer wasn't heating just blowing cold air. He changed the thermal fuse and another piece and he was done in about 35 minutes. Gave him $100 and left it at that. Dryer is working now. If you want to save even more money I'm sure you could look up stuff on YouTube and do it yourself. I thought the price was decent and we never discussed warranty but I know he is honest, and I'm sure I can return and he can help me out again. He has been in the area for over 15 maybe 20 years.

Well priced house slippers with a lot of options! The entire second floor is electronics and more expensive goods, which I hear are not the best to buy here. I usually stick to cheaper items, more kitchen and cooking related needs at Kim's. They have a pretty strict return policy which I hear is a bit risky for more pricey items. After more online research, I was shocked to find that Absolute Appliances also carried this model for the EXACT SAME PRICE as well, and they were located within walking distance from our house. My wife and I immediately walked over, spoke with CJ (a super nice and helpful guy, btw), and were back home within a half hour, having ordered the washer and secured our delivery date. When delivery day came Jamal and his assistant pulled up exactly on time, and went about removing the old washer and setting up the new one. They were very thorough and knowledgeable, and had everything completed in short order. Jamal explained everything that we needed to know about the new machine, and checked to make sure that all the connections were secure and that it was cycling correctly. Overall, this was one of - if not THE best - appliance purchase and delivery experiences I've ever had. I'm so happy to find an alternative to the dismal big box experience, and I absolutely recommend checking out Absolute Appliances before committing to the "usual suspects".
