I have used them before but many years ago. So I arrive and there is a small fridge blocking the path to get in so I call the number outside and Hector answers the phone, told him if he was able to come out and he said come right in. So I moved the fridge to give me space, while moving it I saw Hector come out. Went inside and told him if he could see my gas dryer at home and how much would it cost for the home visit. He said $20 and if I made the repairs with him it will be waived. He arrived about a half hour later or so and came in. He was polite and honest. He saw the dryer and knew what it needed. He said he normally charges $115 to fix it but he will charge me $95 and have it working for me in no time. He already had the parts in hand with him since I told him back at the store my dryer wasn't heating just blowing cold air. He changed the thermal fuse and another piece and he was done in about 35 minutes. Gave him $100 and left it at that. Dryer is working now. If you want to save even more money I'm sure you could look up stuff on YouTube and do it yourself. I thought the price was decent and we never discussed warranty but I know he is honest, and I'm sure I can return and he can help me out again. He has been in the area for over 15 maybe 20 years.

They carry all kinds of useful everyday products, many of which are imported from Korea. The store has two floors and sells everything from clothing and underwear to household items, beauty products, and many other practical things. My Mom has probably been here dozens of times, maybe even more than 100 times, over the years, and I've also been here many times myself. But surprisingly, this is my first time ever writing a review for this place! We went there this time because I was looking for a sports bra. My Mom highly recommended this store because she said Korean underwear tends to fit Korean body types better and is more comfortable. One of the things I really liked was that you can actually try on bras in the fitting room before buying them. The employee was very kind and helpful. She explained the different sizes and helped me choose which sports bra would work best for me. After trying on a few options in the fitting room, I found a sports bra that fit me perfectly and was very comfortable. I ended up buying two of them, one black and one beige. My Mom also wanted to buy a pair of underwear, so I purchased three items together. After that, we went downstairs to the first floor, where I bought a Korean hair-dye product that is apparently designed to be used almost like shampoo. I also ended up buying a pair of slippers to wear at home. My Mom also bought a Korean product called "Bal-eul Ssiseuja" ("발을 씻자") which I recommended to her. It has apparently become extremely popular in Korea recently. The funny thing is that I somehow ended up with three separate receipts that day! First, I paid separately for the sports bras. Then I bought the hair-dye product and checked out separately. Later, while looking around for household items, I suddenly thought, "Oh, should I buy a pair of slippers too?" So I bought those separately as well. This place is always extremely popular because they sell such a huge variety of useful everyday products and household items. Because of that, the parking lot is always very crowded. There is security staff helping direct cars in the parking lot, which is helpful. However, the lot is still pretty tight and busy. I'm especially not very good at parking in narrow parking spaces, so it was actually really convenient and relaxing to come with my Mom, who is an excellent driver and very good at parking. Overall, I had a really nice shopping trip here with my Mom. It's one of those places where you can always find something useful, even when you didn't originally plan on buying it!

They have so many Korean focused products mostly in home goods like kitchen items, tons of bedding, rice cookers and kimchi fridges, but also things like makeup, skincare and clothes. Well priced house slippers with a lot of options! The entire second floor is electronics and more expensive goods, which I hear are not the best to buy here. I usually stick to cheaper items, more kitchen and cooking related needs at Kim's. They have a pretty strict return policy which I hear is a bit risky for more pricey items. I went in specifically for Makgeolli supplies and was so happy to find the pot & cups I needed, at nearly half the price of amazon! Support local stores instead of shopping online! I'm definitely a fan of Kim's Home Center and will come here for all my related needs in the future.

We contemplated a drive to Home Depot but decided to stop by MD Appliances to see what they might have available. Over ten years ago, we purchased a Wolf stove, SubZero refrigerator and a Bosch dishwasher from MD Appliances and we never regretted it one bit. I still remember the installer, Jay, who did excellent work. We were greeted by the owner, Dan, and we informed him what we needed and he showed us the latest LG products in the showroom. It was an easy decision for us to make the purchase there. We placed our order and waited for delivery. I spoke to Dan when he gave me a delivery date which was today. He said his installers Guillermo and Arnold, would call a day prior with the delivery time, which they did and call 30 minutes before the delivery, which they did. Guillermo actually called earlier than expected due to a cancellation so we were able to get our appliances 4 hours early. Dan also said the installers were very good and that I should have no concerns. Well, he was wrong, Guillermo and Arnold were EXCELLENT!!! They were punctual, professional, friendly, helpful and extremely efficient. I fretted about how they would get our two old appliances out and the new appliances in our small washroom with a narrow doorway and up a small porch. Our home is over 100 years old so entrances are smaller than today's standards. Well after I showed Guillermo where the appliances were to be installed, he said it would be no problem. And it wasn't!!! They arrived at 9:30, completed their work, cleaned up and drove off at 10:30. I was truly amazed and impressed. I called Dan immediately to express my admiration and appreciation for these two polite and thoughtful men. Our experience with MD Appliances was a complete success and we are so pleased with our new washer and dryer. Kudos to Guillermo and Arnold for their pride in great customer service.

They didn't show up to deliver then scheduled the next delivery for 2 days later when I wasn't available. All phone calls are routed to the Philippines and no one was able to help me. I cancelled that order and went to MD Appliances. I went in feeling so angry and frustrated with this situation and was treated with such kindness, I left feeling so much better and I also left with a new washer/dryer! They were even able to arrange same day delivery because I live so close. Their prices are the same as the LG site. The store is very clean and welcoming. Definitely a high end appliance store but with reasonable prices. The delivery guys are GREAT too! Super professional, knowledgeable, and fast. My only regret with this whole experience is not looking to buy locally first.
