They had all the playsets up where we could see what we wanted and needed. Once we made our decision we ordered and in 4wks they called for installation. A kind gentleman came and set it up, it looks AMAZING, it FITS better than we thought it would (we thought it would be a bit big for our area) AND our daughter loves it. We cannot get her to come in for meals, and normally we join her in the top of the house. We are beyond happy with our playset and enjoy playing on it as a family everyday! I highly recommend this company! Thank you Ultimate Playsets for helping our daughter have a wonderful summer in spite of the awful pandemic.

I really had a great time. I gave myself lots of time. It was super hot in the sun - bring a hat with a big visor!! At this time of year this year the corn was all pretty dried out - very fall feeling. I went on a weekend day - a Saturday - so yah there were plenty of families and such. I just randomly wandered the corn maze running into the occasional child or parent but or teen group, but I found it very nice to just wander until I got out! It took about an hour. No stress and it actually felt positive that there were lots of other people in the maze at the same time. Less scary. They had a mini corn maze and a "crazy" corn maze so I chose the crazy one since I was trying to be brave. If you feel less brave, try the mini one! Next year I might try their night time corn maze! I love how they curated the pumpkin area! Pumpkins galore everywhere and organized by their gorgeous colors. So pretty and seriously so many like WOW! It was visually really nice. Lots of great creative photo op areas were nicely set up. Lots of kid activities of course. If you're a lone adult like me you're probably gonna do - corn maze, food truck, shopping. I like that they partnered with Palomar Farms to have some farmers market goodies. I did seem some unique jarred delights. I walked away with FROG jam and rhubarb jam! Next year I will try to go earlier in the season when the corn maze is maybe still a little bit green to see what that's like. I liked their modern branding and curated vibe. The corn maze staff was also super friendly and understood my anxiety. I also loved that the activities were a la carte. I paid for the corn maze which was under $20 and my jarred market delights which were $8.99 each. Parking was free. Okay I'm stating that cause I'm from LA. It's still a relief when parking is free here!

That's what made this experience especially disappointing. I no longer live nearby, so when I'm in the neighborhood I sometimes bring partially used or half-filled containers to refill--something that has never been an issue in the past and is consistent with how refilleries typically operate. During my most recent visit, however, the service I received was unprofessional and deeply uncomfortable. The staff member who assisted us said her name was Carly (not sure if that was accurate). She is a tall white woman with glasses and a brown, slightly curly bob haircut. From the start, she made repeated presumptions--first questioning whether my partner and I were together (we are a biracial couple), and then repeatedly challenging whether our containers were actually half-full even after we provided the weights. Her tone was accusatory rather than curious, and it felt like we were being treated with suspicion rather than respect. As a longtime customer, this interaction felt biased, presumptuous, and frankly degrading. I left feeling uncomfortable and unwelcome, which is the opposite of what I expect from a community-oriented, values-driven business. I hope ownership takes this feedback seriously and provides additional training around customer interactions, bias awareness, and how to handle questions without making customers feel interrogated or judged. I want to continue supporting businesses like this--but experiences like this make that difficult.

When I went by there was only one employee working and when I asked about indoor plants he quickly informed me that they have some succulents but that most of their plants are outdoor plants. I was extremely disappointed by the small selection of pots and other planting materials in the indoor store. The indoor store appeared bare almost as though they were getting ready to go out of business. The outdoor greenhouse was disorganized with stuff strewn about everywhere like they were in the middle of repotting and trimming and didn't bother to clean up. There are a nice selection of trees for landscaping projects but a bunch of the pine trees looked half dead. All the lawn ornaments and fountains which I assumed were for sale were sun damaged and weather worn like they'd been sitting out for years. I ended up with a 4" succulent as a gift for someone for $11 but I probably won't be back. Hopefully they are able to stay in business but they need a serious overhaul and a better selection first.
