But more than once they've come to the fishing lake instead of the recreation lake and bring with them a dozen screaming out of control kids. The first time I ran into them I got onto the fishing lake and all was quiet. They came later and all got in and proceeded to run right over where I was casting. One of them even bumped into me without any apology. The whole lake and they picked the one spot I was fishing in. Today there's 14 kids and adults out running amok and screaming across the lake. I'm not sure if the staff realizes that there's a whole lake dedicated to kayaking, paddleboarding, swimming, and NOT fishing. In the same park. One where you can scream as loud as you want and not bother fishermen. The fishing lake is supposed to be for people to enjoy fishing. If I see these guys on the water, I just turn around and go home or don't even bother fishing. Such a nuisance. Sorry for the one star review. The camp experience is probably great. But you guys are irritating a lot of people out here.

I don't know where to start; the program is top notch, excellent instructors, excellent management, super fun for the kids, and valuable love of outdoor, life skills. I don't know many businesses that consistently strive for excellence like Avid4 Adventure. I completely trust the instructors and know that my kids are very safe and well cared for! Special kudos to Moose, Heather, Allison and Ian. You guys rock!!!!

I loved this theater! It's definitely off the beaten path if you haven't yet visited. We were a…read morelittle confused about parking. There was a small section near the front, with some handicapped and regular spots. So we parked there, wondering if they don't get a big crowd because there were only a few spots. Apparently you park before you get to the building, the lot we parked in usually goes to the older folks. Lesson learned. We saw RFK there, a one-man show about Bobby Kennedy. I was a little dubious about it, but the actor did a fantastic job! It kept my attention and I learned quite a bit. James got a standing ovation from all of us there. I don't know how he memorized all those lines. The theater itself is really cute, the doors to the stage/seating are really memorable. They also offered coffee, wine, other drinks, and all kinds of little snacks. The glass of wine was $5. And you can bring it inside with you while you watch. The seats were not super comfortable, but they were more comfortable than most other theaters. This is key when you're sitting down for 2+ hours. They were very low to the ground though, like sitting on a kid's trainer potty. Not sure how the older folks got up and down since it meant squatting a little low. This brings me to the audience. I'm not sure if it was the play subject matter, or the theater, or just the culture of theater in general, but we were the youngest people there by far. It didn't bother me at all, but the age gap was pretty noticeable. It made me want to write a stellar review about this little theater to get more young people to come appreciate it!! I saw that Monty Python's Spamalot will be coming through this year. And guess who's going? This girl. And maybe you??

The play was called The Women of Lockerbie and I was blown away by how good it was. The writing, directing, and set all hit their marks, but the acting was simply transcendental. All the actors were very good, especially the three leads who were able to draw the audience into the story without getting to button pushy with the audience's emotions. I hate when I feel like I'm being manipulated emotionally and this performace was able to bring me along for the ride without that feeling of being used. This play is only open another week, so if you want to see it you better hussle up to Evergreen!
