I've been here once, I don't know that I need to come back. The furniture was the only cool part,…read moreand there were only a few pieces I could picture in our cabin. Aside from that, the aesthetic is a little too cutesy rustic and not really rustic rustic. Plus, guys, this place... The whole way through, it possessed this weird poo smell. Not sure what that was about, but it definitely tainted the experience. I'm a-ok with doing a little hunting for local artisans online and actually saving some cash over what they offer here.

If you're into rustic decor and furniture and are looking for a "Colorado" feel in decorating your…read morehome, then you absolutely must come here. They have all kinds of furniture -- everything from literal rustic woods-like furniture to elegant wood furniture with exquisite rod iron details. This store also carries really cute decor as well, including blankets, pillows, candles, old ski picture frames, and cute little owls and other animals made of sticks and straw. I know what you're thinking -- "this has the potential to be pretty cheesy." However, what impresses me the most is that the items here are really adorable and do not cross the line of being hokey or over-the-top. Believe me, that's a fine line that Rustic Point does a tremendous job of not crossing. The prices can be a little steep (especially if you are interested in furniture), but I've found that these items are priced appropriately given the quality of items. This is hands down my favorite store in Colorado -- honestly, I should just transfer my direct deposit to Rustic Point in lieu of my bank account as I want everything in here!

Once again, this small town place simply amazes. Every year, just before Halloween, my family and I…read moremake the drive up to Evergreen to shop this little farmers market/pumpkin patch. It's owned and operated by a man named JP and he is as old school, down to earth as they come. Today I bought six huge pumpkins, oatmeal cooking. A lemon bar, green chili, soap, peanuts, some sodas and a few pie pumpkins. I love the feel of this place as well as its location. The friendly banter with JP is always fun and there is some real pride of ownership involved in this place. If you're looking for a real Halloween feel when shopping for pumpkins... Bypass King Soopers and stop at this great locally owned pumpkin patch.

Dave drove to Evergreen, so beautiful and mostly everything was closed. I stumbled upon JP Total Farmer Market using my trusty Yelp App. They were open until 7:00 and I figured we could get some local peaches and maybe a pie. So we parked the RV in the lot and Dave said let's take Freckles with us. So we entered this eclectic Farmer's Market where there were four inviting rocking chairs at the entrance. Dave went ahead and the owner went crazy over Freckles. They were like if you didn't bring her in we would be sad because we love dogs! It's like Freckles knew it too-she was so well behaved and she got some nice dog biscuits from the lady and ate them immediately! Dave bought a beautiful cherry pie that is homemade and ready to bake. I got a few humongous peaches that were so perfect and grown in Colorado. We talked and they had vacationed regularly on Ft. Meyers Beach until Ian did a number on it! It was so nice to meet these ladies who made us feel so comfortable! If I were a little younger I might consider moving to this inviting city! If you're in the area please come and visit and enjoy all their local and homemade products.
