Jovan helped us half way through the shopping process . He has the patience of a saint. He was so polite and professionally realistic with my Jean jacket options and although I purchased a more expensive Jean jacket (he suggested) I am super happy with it because he gave me so many ideas of how to style it and what I could do with it. Between Rebecca and Jovan I was convinced to get my jacket and jeans customized and I could cry of how beautiful it came out! I'm so happy with my almost $400 clothing drop today...more happy than I've been ever buying clothing to be honest. It was really the ambiance for me...so uplifting and positive. This particular store knocks it out of the ballpark with its inviting layout, outstanding & helpful staff, and cool "extra" in-store features. Coming from out of town, we discovered the need to pick up some essentials (wardrobe backups) and stopped by on a whim. Upon first entering this store, you instantly get a warm feeling. It's a well kept, clean location, with a two-story loft theme, aesthetically pleasing design, and nice display setups throughout. Upstairs, we were immediately welcomed by "Jovan" in the men's section. He was a master at identifying the best fits/sizes and suggesting items that are now my husband's new faves (the new athletic line!). Jovan was super knowledgeable about the AE brand and popular men's styles, and he was friendly, enthusiastic, and attentive. As we checked out, Jovan also informed us about the FREE customized tags/labels you can request to be stitched onto your jeans (at a booth by the entrance), and it only took a few minutes for the seamstress "Abby" to etch the monograms for us - - a really cool and unique added touch! Bonus: There's also a little photo op nook, setup with benches, a backdrop, and a beauty light tripod for customers to share their style & outfit inspos... Or to take a moment to snap a cute pic while they shop. I am a big fan now.... Or, we will at least have to make a return visit the #AEOLasVegasStrip location the next time we are in town. The mall is great, but the staff here are outright offensive and discriminatory towards customers. I had a great experience midweek picking up an online order and I took advantage of the additional discount for buying additional items while I was there. Today, the store manager decided it was prudent to eavesdrop on a private conversation I was having with my disabled daughter. This "store manager" made outrageous claims and threatened to inform her district manager about me. This same "store manager" refused to provide even her first name. The issue was that the so called manager was demanding the other associate to help customers while she stood behind the counter appearing to not be doing anything. While waiting in line another customer jumped the line and this "manager" helped them without any delay. When my daughter looked at me questioning what was happening we began talking. The associate ordered to help customers was struggling with basic tasks such as inputting a customer phone number for their rewards program. She was friendly, but slow and appeared to need additional training. Training, service, and the issues my daughter and I observed were discussed while waiting for the associate to retrieve my paid order. My primary concern is the disrespectful behavior and unprofessionalism of this supposed nameless manager. Not only did I call her out for discrimination when she claimed it was acceptable for her to interrupt our conversation, but also claim I was being loud. Perhaps a loud whisper is her definition of loud, but when my daughter has multiple disabilities including hearing loss, this "manage" is discriminating against the customers of the store. Then to threaten to tattle about my concern to her DM is just comical. I'd LOVE to speak to her DM! 0/5 stars. I would never recommend this location due to this middle aged blonde "manager" and her behavior. I will not shop this location ever again. Everyone has always been super friendly and helpful. I appreciate that they set up fitting rooms for you while you shop but they also leave you alone if you just want to browse. The store is well organized and pretty clean. The newer styles will be near the front and then it moves back into the clearance and intimates. I love finding "finds" in the clearance section, sometimes you can get a super good deal. The only thing I think that can be worked on is the fitting rooms. They need an update because they look really run down and smell really weird. It's hard to try on clothes when you desperately don't want to touch the ground, walls or bench.
