While Torrid does tend to be expensive at full price, their sales allow me to find things at decent prices. Whether you shop online (where everything is typically at least 35% off) or in store, you can some solid items to add to your closet. I personally am at the loyalist level, so online shopping is that much easier for me because I don't have to pay shipping and makes it an obvious choice to buy when I find the extreme sales that make items less than $10. The shampoo was never opened. It sat in my car so that I can return it and when I got there, I guess because it sat in the car with hot temperatures, it leaked a little well. Lori explained to me that it had been opened and they weren't sure if they could take it back I reassured her. I never opened it. It never came out of the bag. Well, I don't know. I'll have someone go to the hair salon to open up another and see if there was a seal that was on it as she asked another employee to do that. I told her it was never opened. It never came out of the bag well, I don't know that well, I'm telling you it didn't come out of the bag so if it wasted, it may have been due to the heat, but of course well I'll have someone do it this time. She went above and beyond to box my gifts and make them look so special. She was super personable and pleasant and just an overall great person and employee! I have noticed that Von Maur employees are always very pleasant, courteous & helpful. The store itself is always clean and neat. The piano player is a nice added touch. I spent hours talking with David and Rocky about the items and the store's history. Very friendly bunch, and very insightful.
