I contacted Water Drainage Innovations by sending a message through Yelp asking for a quote. We set up an appointment with Dennis and he came out to measure and see what was needed. He gave us a brief verbal overview in person and then sent a written proposal. After we collected all of our bids, we really liked the plan Dennis came up with. It was comprehensive and would solve our needs and the price was fair. We signed and returned the proposal. We then set up a date to start the work. It was a 2 day job to install French Drains that run along both sides of our property. They ran PVC pipe, tying in from the gutter downspouts and going under the sidewalk and out to the street. It involved cutting holes in the curb so the water could drain out. Dennis and his team did a great job throughout the entire project. They showed up when they said they would. They were professional and polite, respectful of our property, even cleaning up at the end of day one knowing they would be back the next day. We sent half the money owed at the end of day one via Zelle, and the balance after the job was complete. We are very happy with how the entire project went and highly recommend Dennis and Water Drainage Innovations. Now we just need everyone to wash their cars and windows and do a rain dance so we can watch the water drain into the street!

It's probably evident based on my new rating how this story ends, but I'll go ahead and start with…read morea recap... A little over a year ago we had 2 different windows that leaked badly during a severe storm. It was so bad, in fact, that we submitted a service request online with Rain Leak Solutions in the middle of the night immediately after the rain stopped. In a matter of hours Randy showed up to our house, diagnosed the problems and completed the repairs. Plus, it didn't cost us an arm and a leg. We thought he was a real hero! So, we didn't hesitate to ask him to come back and do a whole house inspection. He said he was very very busy and it would be a while before he could schedule a time. We completely understood and waited patiently. Months and months went by, yet there was no communication from Randy despite us leaving him several messages. Just when we thought our calls would never be returned, he got back to us and assured us that he hadn't forgotten about the inspection. But again, he was too busy to commit to an appointment. Then a little over a year after his last visit, one of the windows started leaking again just as badly as before. At this point we desperately tried to get in touch with Randy to come back out to (re)fix the problem. Only once did we manage to get a call back and he said he would come over as soon as he could. He never called back or showed up though. We realize now that we should have moved on to a different company long ago because the continual leaking has caused a lot of damage to the whole area around the window. Although Randy may be quite knowledgeable and capable, he is also extremely unreliable.

He explained at length, for my consideration, additional treatment options that might hopefully eliminate my issue. Some time ago, I wrote a not too positive review of Rain Leaks Solutions because of the difficulty I encountered in securing their services. After talking to Randy today, I better understand they were inundated with work requests because of the heavy rainstorms that were occurring at the time, and the fact they are one of the few contractors in DFW who operate in this rain leak repair space. Accordingly, I wish to revoke my previous review, and request it be disregarded.

Leaving a field I had known for so long was intimidating, but I knew I wanted to be part of something that aligned with my values and gave me a real sense of purpose. That's exactly what I found at Chamberlin Roofing & Waterproofing. For the past 11 months, I've had the privilege of working as a Business Development Representative in the Dallas market, and I can honestly say that joining the Chamberlin family was one of the best career decisions I've ever made. The company's commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork isn't just a slogan--it's the foundation of everything we do. * Safety isn't just about the job site--it's about taking care of people, making sure everyone goes home to their families at the end of the day. * Quality means taking pride in our work, knowing that what we build today will stand the test of time. * Teamwork is what sets Chamberlin apart. If you were like me, sick of all the roofing companies that infiltrate your neighborhood after a storm, then I highly recommend you take a hard look at Absolute Roofing and Contracting to deliver a top notch roof replacement. I initialially looked at three roofing companies to give me a roof replacement bid. One never showed up, one said my damage wasn't that extensive but I got lucky in getting to work with Absolute Roofing and Contracting. I had the pleasure of working with Chris Perry who walked me through the entire process from start to finish. Its bad enough trying to navigate your homeowners insurance policy on your own, but Chris was really helpful in getting me an accurate insurance estimate and ultimately a proper settlement. They started on my roof very early on a Thursday morning and it was completed by the time the sun went down. His crew, led by Leo Telles, was very professional, clean and considerate. They worked very hard all day to produce a awesome looking roof that is the current envy of all my neighbors. I looked hard the next day in all my landscaping to find anything leftover by them and to my amazement it was all gone. I don't advise you be home during the process because the noise can be overwhelming at times but that is to be expected. Chris is the type of guy you can trust with a handshake to get the job done right the first time. A couple of my neighbors used the other guys who were low balling their price but I remembered something my grandfather used to say " Price is what you pay, value is what you get"! I would not hesitate to recommend Absolute Roofing and Contracting to anyone looking for a roofing contractor who is head and shoulders above anyone else. They are an awesome value! In an industry tainted by charlatans who take pleasure in defrauding unsuspecting homeowners, they were a breath of fresh air.
