We were out of town on holiday when this happened. My daughter was looking after our cat and home sitting. I got a call that the ceiling caved in above kitchen and water was quickly covering first floor of my home. We immediately called Mr Fish with Advantage Remodeling and Roofing. I hired Advantage Remodeling and Roofing in 2019 after a big hail storm in North Dallas area. All went smooth. Adjuster showed up my son worked with Boris to complete the roofing repairs. Once the roof was opened we found that my chimney was leaking. Supplements were provided. USAA was reluctant to pay for the repairs and a new chimney cricket since I did not have a proper policy coverage. However, this is when the magic happened. To company convinced USAA that the cricket may not be covered, but the internal damages from the water interning my home were ! I was moved to a house in the area, all was taken care to a minute detail. They even had someone to reconnect my computer and activate all of the passwords to my Netflix. All my belongings were packed out and stored while floors, kitchen, walls, ceilings and everything else including showers and tile was redone. I was moved back and love my new floors and the kitchen. From the looks of the inside and the professional workmanship I can be sure and truly convinced that my exterior is in a great shape! Advantage Remodeling and Roofing did the roof on my house in Garland, Texas. My insurance told me I had hail damage on my siding but not on my roof. How is this possible? Is hail now suddenly trainable to not hit the roof only the house? Fish helped me every step of the way, and we got the money from the insurance to cover the whole roof. I had no plans on doing the siding. Boris came out and I'm so grateful that Boris was a perfectionist. He could see that my roof was more than just shingles. After everything was pulled off, he found rotted wood and the transitions to my add-ons (2) to be unsafe and inadequate. See pictures. He made sure I saw what he was seeing, and I agreed. Any other roofing company (the last one) wouldn't care enough to show me the damage and just cover it up and move to the next job. Not Boris! I hired Advantage Remodeling and Roofing in 2022 to restore my home after a hail storm. Here is what they did for us. They replaced the roof line, pointed out damages to the windows, fence and AC unit and requested for my ok to proceed with my insurance company. To my surprise even the AC unit was replaced. Here is why I am leaving this review. Since that time we had additional storms in the area including high winds. I called Advantage Remodeling and Rooifng to check on one of my pipes and they were here in matter of hours. Not once i had to look for Mr Fish to answer his phone or reply to any of my enquires. We used ARR service after hail May 2023. ARR helped complete roofing/exterior works fence, replacing garage door and AC replacement. We found out that leakage on the chimney side (internally). ARR had helped us negotiate with insurance company, and we got an approval for interior work painting and floor replacement as well. Because of the work, we had to move out temporarily. We ended up using air bnb. From moving out and moving in, it's all about the process, negotiation/fund approval/worker's availability etc. But at the end, we got a new renovated house with very minimum out of pocket deductible. read more

Last year we experienced some hail damage to our roof, fence, gutters, and outdoor shed. We were a bit overwhelmed when it came to working with insurance to get this all fixed, but Boris was able to explain & guide us through the claims process which was very helpful.
