I moved to Kirkland about 5 years ago and immediately missed my barber. I tried to commute an hour…read moreto my old barber but driving in this area is torturous. I wanted a competent local barber who communicated well. A comfortable environment would be icing for me. I went to a few different shops around the area and could not find a good match. Eventually, I came across TOC via Google Maps and scheduled the "first available" barber at my convenience. I got to the shop and Jeff was my barber. It's been about 4 years since then and I could not be happier. Jeff is an excellent barber, reliable, reasonable, and is easy to communicate with. If I don't like any part of a cut, I say something and it gets fixed. No sweat from Jeff and no sweat from me. It is our responsibility as the customer to get the product we want. TOC is a great barbershop and an important part of our marina community. Do yourself a favor and schedule a cut at TOC. You won't regret it. P.S. Ignore the hateful people who give 1 star reviews because they are petty individuals. Anytime you see a 1 star review longer than a few sentences, check that person's review history. I bet they constantly complain. I would even say it is more likely that they are unsatisfied in life and it has nothing to do with the business. Hateful people that only give 1 star reviews are not helping customers make better choices - they are just filling their own narcissism.

This was a service experience I will never forget, partly because of the wonderful service…read moreexperience Terri provided and partly because of the important event that followed. I've had long hair, typically worn in a ponytail, since Covid. i got used to it, convinced myself that it was easy to manage and looked good, well maybe just okay. Really I knew that it didn't suit me. I was just avoiding the change. But then my son was getting married and my hair made me feel not great about my appearance. I found Kirkland Man and made an appointment 2 days before the wedding. Terri was so kind and patient as I wrung my hands trying to decide what I wanted, which took 20+ minutes. Then she took over and did what she does so well. She found once she started cutting that my hair had natural curl and adjusted to work with that. Then she gave me a beard trim. She took so long with me that she was late for her next appointment. I got a ton of compliments from my wife, family, and friends. I felt wonderful that I looked good for my son's wedding and pictures and I spent most of that night dancing with my wife and kids. My new cut is so easy to take care of. I just towel dry it, mess it up a little and I'm good to go. I don't use any product. It just works and looks great. I truly love what Terri has done for me!
