This was a service experience I will never forget, partly because of the wonderful service experience Terri provided and partly because of the important event that followed. I've had long hair, typically worn in a ponytail, since Covid. i got used to it, convinced myself that it was easy to manage and looked good, well maybe just okay. Really I knew that it didn't suit me. I was just avoiding the change. But then my son was getting married and my hair made me feel not great about my appearance. I found Kirkland Man and made an appointment 2 days before the wedding. Terri was so kind and patient as I wrung my hands trying to decide what I wanted, which took 20+ minutes. Then she took over and did what she does so well. She found once she started cutting that my hair had natural curl and adjusted to work with that. Then she gave me a beard trim. She took so long with me that she was late for her next appointment. I got a ton of compliments from my wife, family, and friends. I felt wonderful that I looked good for my son's wedding and pictures and I spent most of that night dancing with my wife and kids. My new cut is so easy to take care of. I just towel dry it, mess it up a little and I'm good to go. I don't use any product. It just works and looks great. I truly love what Terri has done for me! read more

I am 38 and Kim time for me to find a new barber. I wanted someone with a new style, and that could speak my language when it came to what I was looking for. Terry spent about 20 minutes, talking me through and hearing me out to discover exactly what I was looking for. I felt like, I was in the presence of a true professional, who knew exactly how to lead me to where I wanted to go with a new hairstyle. That we didn't change much from my current hairstyle, I felt comfortable and confident, and was not let down with the end result. We definitely recommend her services, and also, pretty much is the coolest experience ever. Five stars. read more

My wife my me an appointment for a beard trim. Traffic was unusually heavy so we made a call saying we would be 5 min late. Upon arrival we called and they said it was too late. We drove over an hour to go to this yuppy place. Never again! The lady was extremely rude. read more

Looking at where to suggest your husband get his haircut? You've found the place! Terri will take great care of them! Husband said he was offered a beer, had great conversation and felt Terri knew exactly how to cut his hair to fit his style without any hesitation, she knew what she was doing from the get go he said. Comfortable salon and very inviting atmosphere. Worth the price and my husband will be coming back again for when he needs another clean up. He scored a new job recently and needs a new headshot for his company badge. With that being said I am SO glad we booked a haircut with Terri before I took his headshot photos for his new job. Thank you, Terri! read more

Really not great. Pretty much as soon as she saw my hair I knew this was going to be rough. I had just had a better cut at Rudy's a couple weeks before, so that gives you a measuring stick. read more

It's interesting that you say we were late to my husband's appt. Agreed, traffic was terrible and unexpected. ‍ (we're not used to it in all honesty) I t texted 2x stating we would be running late did not get a response back. So, one would assume that the appt would still be since we didn't hear otherwise. Not asking for anything. Maybe a booking service for you where someone can respond back in a timely manner would be helpful. read more

I have been to several barbers over the years, but none was as thorough, thoughtful, and professional as Terri here at Kirkland Man. I was her last appointment for the day, and each appointment is usually 45 minutes long. But we spent almost 45 minutes just consulting and talking about what I liked/disliked about the prior haircut experiences. We talked about several ideas and looks. She made some excellent suggestions. We went back and forth on some of those, looked at pictures of what it might look like, updated the "design" based on some of the pictures, then she did a mock up on me holding my hair in ways so I could get a better view/idea of the end result. Once we were satisfied, she did an awesome job putting it altogether. And the end result is awesome. It is definitely an edgy, bold, and different look for me, but I'm very satisfied. My wife was happy with my new look as well. Our only gripe was that she doesn't deal with women's hair for my wife also haha. Oh and before I forget, the hot towel on the face, the scalp massage, and the shampoo/conditioning is just fantastic. She's also easy to talk to, and has an affable personality. Highly recommend her. Will definitely revisit for my next haircut needs. read more
