The place looks and smells and feels like it should. The staff is chatty and humorous, and efficient without being too rushed to perform a proper cut. They have devoted regulars they greet by name, and seem very happy to meet new acquaintances too. If you have a yen for a sense of community you can only find in locally owned and run establishments, and an interest in keeping alive traditional services that have disappeared or been largely farmed-out to mediocre chain stores, this great little barbershop is a good place to start!
