This was a service experience I will never forget, partly because of the wonderful service…read moreexperience Terri provided and partly because of the important event that followed. I've had long hair, typically worn in a ponytail, since Covid. i got used to it, convinced myself that it was easy to manage and looked good, well maybe just okay. Really I knew that it didn't suit me. I was just avoiding the change. But then my son was getting married and my hair made me feel not great about my appearance. I found Kirkland Man and made an appointment 2 days before the wedding. Terri was so kind and patient as I wrung my hands trying to decide what I wanted, which took 20+ minutes. Then she took over and did what she does so well. She found once she started cutting that my hair had natural curl and adjusted to work with that. Then she gave me a beard trim. She took so long with me that she was late for her next appointment. I got a ton of compliments from my wife, family, and friends. I felt wonderful that I looked good for my son's wedding and pictures and I spent most of that night dancing with my wife and kids. My new cut is so easy to take care of. I just towel dry it, mess it up a little and I'm good to go. I don't use any product. It just works and looks great. I truly love what Terri has done for me!

Terry spent about 20 minutes, talking me through and hearing me out to discover exactly what I was looking for. I felt like, I was in the presence of a true professional, who knew exactly how to lead me to where I wanted to go with a new hairstyle. That we didn't change much from my current hairstyle, I felt comfortable and confident, and was not let down with the end result. We definitely recommend her services, and also, pretty much is the coolest experience ever. Five stars.

Outstanding, consistent results - Ever had a bad hair cut? yeah, its the worst. That does not happen with Quinn. Experience/Expertise - Quinn focuses specifically on men's hair and been practicing since 1998. She understands what looks good on men through years of experience and continued training. Outstanding customer service - Quinn takes the time to really get to know you, understand who you are and the look you are trying to achieve. Awesome person to chat with. Quinn is very bright and is genuinely interested in talking to you. Realistically, if you are a 4 in terms of looks...she's probably not going to be able to transform you into Brad Pitt or George Clooney. Sorry guys. I guarantee she can help you jump a couple points though. I wouldn't even consider letting another stylist cut my hair. Yes, her prices are higher than other salons, but you definitely get the value out of it. If you are a male professional in the Seattle/Bellevue area looking for a high-quality hair cut, I highly recommend you visit Quinn.

I first met her more…read morethan ten years ago when she worked at a downtown Bellevue salon, then followed her to a different business, then followed her again when she opened The Lounge. I wouldn't think to get someone else to cut my hair. As other reviews have said, she is amazingly good at a delivering a consistent haircut. I look like me, every day and after every haircut. This is a huge value to me as I've been unpleasantly surprised in the past, or just had things a little off, or I have to wave my hands and try to explain what I want over and over because they don't remember me from the time before. In the more than ten years Quinn has been cutting my hair, I've never been disappointed or felt self-conscious about a bad haircut. I am a triathlete and often shower twice a day when training, and I drive a convertible. Years ago I asked her to give me a style that I could just towel dry and style with my fingers, no driers or brushes or combs. I also wanted one that but wasn't all that different from what I already had. Combs and blow driers don't work for that. She gave me a great style that I still wear. And I don't have to explain anything, I just get it. Sometimes I ask for a little longer, sometimes a little shorter, mostly I just get a cut. The ambience of her business is great. It's a private enclosed area with a sliding door, so you don't feel like you're lined up in a room of guys getting their hair cut. There's just enough glass to not be claustrophobic. The building is well located, has sufficient free parking, and has a Scotty Brown's, a Lunchbox Laboratory, a Tokyo Steak House, and a French Bakery. After a haircut I often stop by one of those (OK, usually the bar at Scotty Brown's!) and have a beverage.

Todays cut, only noticing once I got into my car after the appointment - and not returning because the issue with this cut can't be rectified. I had mentioned having a first date coming up this weekend, hesitant to go forward with it, but after this cut it'll be a challenge not to cancel as a result. I'll post the photos below they should speak for themselves. The cut from my left to right side is vastly different and looks almost intentional. Super bummed out and will unfortunately need to cancel my next appointment. This is the worst cut I've received to date from anywhere, and I am not looking forward to wearing a hat everyday.
