Firstly, I can appreciate them being able to accommodate students and will give a discount for their eye exams in order to help us out. Secondly, they are 100 percent up front with everything and why they do what they do. Secondly, they have this machine that takes a picture of the inside of your eye which I've never seen before. Dr. Tang showed me the inside and which parts did what and it was soooooo interesting to me. Not everyone decides to have that level of transparency and make an effort into making a rapport with their clients. Stella was really great in recommending some lenses for myself that will help me in being able to combat the blue light that gets emitted from screens since I am constantly on the computer due to my school and my job. She was really interested in explaining everything to me. I love the fact that I can get all my documents emailed to me. My prescription, invoice and everything I need for insurance purposes will always be on my phone and computer when I need it. I'll see them in a few weeks to get my glasses since I'm waiting for some other insurance to kick in. But I wouldn't recommend anyone else for an eye exam, they're seriously amazing.

She is very patient and has a cheerful personality which puts a BIG smile on my face during my visit :) I felt very at ease in her hands. Staff was very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable - overall, a very pleasant experience, thank you :) During the comprehensive eye examination, I got my pupils dilated. Be sure to bring a pair of sunglasses with you if you're driving - you will be sensitive to lights! Or you can purchase a fashionable pair in their dispensary. The clinic carries a great selection of brand name eyewear and sunglasses! We also did something called Optomap wide-field retinal scan, which carefully and thoroughly checks the inside of the eye for any hidden eye diseases, monitors suspicious areas and changes from year to year, and confirms that everything is healthy! During the visit, I also learned that Dr. Tang specializes in contact lens wear, LASIK consultation, and Ortho-K (AOK) overnight corrective contact lens for myopia control in children. You can also make an appointment online anytime using their real-time schedule - very convenient and easy to use. Dr. Thakrar and her staff were wonderful, and I was not charged for the scleral lenses as they were returned. I see Dr. Thakrar for all of my follow up field vision testing (semi-annually) and have ordered an additional 2 pairs of glasses/sunglasses here. The pricing was average for glasses for my prescription, and the staff was lovely and helpful. I have even called and requested documentation be emailed, and it was done same day.

I'm sure they won't be ready. They kept telling me the original pair would be ready on a certain day and they weren't. They lie to you to appease you. They never return messages. Dr. Boikovitis was PHENOMENAL with her. It was the most detailed examination I have seen. He ran several eye tests and spoke to her and explained things in a way for her to understand instead of dismissing a "kid" and speaking only to the parent. We saw him again this year for a check up and again he was thorough and informative. The other employees there have been courteous and helpful in helping us select frames for her glasses. They have moved to a new location not far from the old one and it is a beautiful upgrade. Would definitely recommend this place and I will also be switching over to them for myself.

They have always been pricey, even with their sale prices, always trying to upsell you. My granddaughters designer glasses 1 year old designer glasses had problems with one of the hinges. She is a teenager. They were unable to fix this issue because we didn't purchase their warranty protection! My son in law fixed it. They didn't stand by what they sell. Having a nice looking store with unknowledgeable staff and poo customer service skills is not enough. Word of mouth spreads faster than any advertisement can! COSCO stands behind what they sell, we found Out. All members of our family have moved their business there. In 2023, LensCrafters lost a class action lawsuit in reference to their misleading practices about pricing. Why am I not surprised!

Yada, yada, I called around, got someone else to call even *further* (the most helpful staff I have ever encountered, as he went supremely above and beyond, at least 4 stars for that), only to have him tell me: Sorry, there is nowhere *in all of CANADA* where we can find them and send them to you. My question is: WHY would a company advertise- as the basis of their very current campaign!?- a pair of glasses that they cannot sell you???! I wear progressive lenses, and usually have 2 pairs - regular and tinted. After checking my eyes, and comparing the prescription to my existing lenses, she could not believe the change. As a result, she kept me in her office for over an hour to triple check them in order to ensure that there was consistency (which there was). The end result is that I am extremely pleased with both sets of glasses - truly the definition of "As good as it gets" (aka 5 stars!)

I am not about bashing businesses but feel a responsibility to write something here. I am…read morenearsighted and upon spending 2 hours here, I was told I am a candidate for RLE. Then the "sales" lady tried to sell me on paying $8k and pulled up a calendar to lock me in to a date in the near future. Reading further, nearsighted individuals with thin cornea are not good candidates for RLE (Refractive Lens Exchange) as there is a significant chance the retina can detatch. I am 52 and this surgery for me would have potentially negatively changed my life forever. And I have kids!!! 60 is the age this should be done- not sooner. I did go to a competitior who said they would never perform this on me and to wait until at least 60. This is a practice that has been around for a long time and used to perform this surgery and realized years ago there is too much of a risk and stopped. Something I found strange is when I asked the final "sales" consultant at Lasik MD if she knew anything about her competitors, she said no!? And further tried to sell me on the idea I could nik my eye with a contact lens. I am here to help people to not undergo a procedure that may be detrimental to their lives. I recently visited to replace the lenses in my glasses after my old ones got scratched, and since…read moremy prescription had slightly changed, it felt like the right time to update. I still love the frames I got two years ago, so a lens replacement made the most sense. Most places quoted really high prices for my prescription strength, but this spot was quite reasonable. Ramandeep was skilled and great at adjusting my glasses so they fit my face perfectly. I also brought in a couple of other frames that were misaligned that I didn't purchase there, and she fixed them up in a jiffy. One pair had been badly twisted after I accidentally knocked them into a door, and the few optical stores I asked were hesitant to help in case they break it. She managed to adjust them so they're at least wearable again - what a pro! From the brief look they have a nice curated selection of designer frames I see including sunglasses too. Though I didn't look too closely since I wasn't in the market for new eye glasses but they look nice lots of neutral ones I can see wearing. Note the entrance looks small, I accidentally went into the next door convenience store almost.
