I came back to Rage today and was blown away again with how great the Staff and service was! Loretta did an absolute amazing job on my daughter's cuts. It was their first haircut and I could not have asked for a better experience! My girls were nervous at first but Loretta made them feel comfortable and they had extra pep in their step when they saw the finished look. And the owner is seriously so amazing she went above and beyond and printed my girls a first hair cut certificate and also I forgot to ask to tie my first daughters hair in a hair tie to keep it. But the owner helped gather enough together to tie it afterwords. I absolutely love Rage salon and will recommend everyone to go here! Jeanette Mendoza at Rage Salon in Campbell did a fantastic job on my pre-wedding hair dye and cut and my recent color dye changes. I came in for a color correction, she blended my grown-out roots and melted the color down into the bright vivid red I wanted at the ends, perfect for the wedding. She fixed up some of my split ends with a haircut as well. She's so sweet she even let me read my book during part of the process. Another fabulous balayage by Jesika. Her work never seems to disappoint. I've been coming to Jesika since January of 2023 (when she used to work at Combs) and am always quite pleased with the way my hair turns out. I always go home feeling like a million bucks. My usual booking is balayage with a glaze. This is the perfect hairstyle that you can ride out 3 - 4 months before making your next appointment. And if you're on a tight budget and can't afford to do another full balayage, you can just book a partial highlight with a glaze. That's what I like to do. I don't have a ton of hair anyway, so sometimes the partial is just enough. Jesika is always more than happy to work with your budget. Like, if I want to come in for a quick glaze to touch things up, tone down the brassiness, and give my hair some shine in between appointments, I can book a glaze without a blow dry/style to save some extra money. I don't mind leaving with a wet head during the warmer months. I'll also sometimes drag out my haircut longer than what stylists would prefer, but Jesika doesn't care or judge. You do you. Bebe was friendly, so it's too bad that she gave me such a horrible haircut. I would have given 0 stars if I could. 1 star only because she gave me a full refund. I had to be rescheduled twice, which should have been a sign to find someplace new. I already had an undercut, but I wanted the middle section cleaned up. I showed her a picture of my old hair, asking for that style but with longer bangs. Unfortunately, she wasn't sure how to get the style that I requested, so she just kept cutting more and more and more of my hair off. She did a lot of damage, and my self esteem was crushed when I got home. I literally went home and cried. I sent photos to another salon afterwards to see if they could fix it, and the owner personally called me back: "Honey, I'm so sorry for what that woman did to you, but that is unsalvageable." It's been over a month, and I'm still so upset about this. Every time I look in the mirror I'm reminded of how badly my hair was butchered. Stay away from Bebe and Rage. read more

I decided to walk away and find another salon over a year ago You're are probably wondering why I am here now leaving a review. Well, I saw her and a few other stylists from the salon in downtown San Jose. They made it a point to bully me and yell how my hair looks ugly as soon as I walked into the restaurant and bar they were all at because I stopped going to one of the stylists for service over a year ago!!! I cannot believe 50 year old women would act like this. Obviously very upset I took my money elsewhere but I'm so happy I did!!!!!! Very sad and unprofessional behavior! Rage salon is such a vibe, first time coming here as a walk-in not expecting to be taken in but, Sonya was super accommodating and kind. I had waist long hair and wanted to cut it short . I'm so glad I found Madison! I called Rage Salon on the eve of my 30th birthday 3 years ago, suddenly feeling my age and desperate for a change, looking for a balayage and haircut. I have curly hair that never seems to behave when I need it to and I refuse to spend much time on it. Few stylists seem to know how to deal with curls, and I could count the # of great haircut experiences in my entire life on one hand. I wasn't typically the type to go back to the same stylist/salon more than once or twice. In fact, I rarely went to a salon more than once a year, if that. They weren't able to fit me in that day, which I already knew was a long shot anywhere, but said they'd call if they had any cancellations. We have transformed my super dark hair to Warm blonde. I love it. It's amazing to go this light with no damage. WORST EXPERIENCE!!!! So I normally am not one to leave reviews. I don't even have a yelp account, I literally just created this account to leave this review because I am so UPSET!! I called Rage salon 10/17/2023 and spoke with Sue who is the owner of this establishment. I asked questions about getting my hair highlighted (THE FULL HEAD). I asked about prices, and told her the condition of my hair & how it was primarily virgin with about 2 inch sections of blonde in the front with 2 inch roots. At this point she was under the impression that I had never been there before & not once did she recommend a color consultation (something I wouldn't even know to request). She sets me up a 3 hour appointment with Megan for 12pm 10/18/2023 the next day. I wake up that morning get a call saying Megan is 30 mins late. I say I'll still come to the appointment. Arrive on time and Megan still shows up another 15 mins late. Megan doesn't even smile has an attitude, checks my hair for 5 mins, & then tells me she won't do my hair because she doesn't have enough time for the hairstyle I want. Claiming my color correction would be too intensive for her. Then gets Sue to come in & tell me I should have done a color consultation.. really Sue?? Isn't that your job to suggest one considering the first thing you asked me when I walked in is if I had ever been there before?? This whole thing was just completely unprofessional & it was very clear that these women are money hungry than the actually provide good customer service. In my opinion I just think Megan was already extremely late & she didn't want to have to push her whole down out for me because I'm a new client & she didn't want to disappoint her established ones.
