She really understands the science behind hair treatments and is always up to date the latest technology. I always get the best advice on how to maintain health and color longevity after my sessions with her. She is detail oriented and super meticulous. Hair sessions can be long, but I've learned over the years that in order to achieve the best results, it can't be rushed. And while my hair looks amazing right after my sessions with her, the true test of time shows the quality of work she puts in. The color grows out beautifully and I get compliments months to even more than a year between sessions. One of the things I Iove most about Ly the most is just how friendly and warm and genuine she is. I always look forward to catching up with her in the seat. When I first came to Ly, I was dating my now husband and I've gone through all my life events with her. She cut and colored my hair for my engagement session, wedding, babymoon, sister's wedding, during my pregnancy and even my first session after baby was born...and many sessions in between! Maybe 15 minutes later, he was back with a nice cut and a smile in his face. Encouraged, I walked over when the clothes were in the dryer and asked for a cut. I showed her photos of my previous cut and she started her work. She was fast, made light and cheerful conversation, and I was very pleased with the results. I have paid more for haircuts that could not compare. The shop is simple - there are no frills here, but it is clean, there are no smells, and the prices are very reasonable. She advised me they also do color, but that I should call ahead. Based on other reviews and my own experience, I will likely return and give it a try. If that turns out as will, I will up my review to 5 stars.
