We hired Radstone Remodeling to remodel three bathrooms in our house, solely based on our positive past experience with the owner, Mr. Jim Rad. Our confidence in Mr. Rad stemmed from his reasonable prices, professionalism, and quality of work done in our house over the last 16 years (while he was at other companies). The only catch this time was that we asked Jim to perform an almost impossible task; we needed all three bathrooms to be done in less than 3 weeks (while the kids were on their winter vacation). Needless to say, we expected the same high quality and reasonable cost as we had seen previously. This meant that Mr. Rad had to purchase all required materials, assign all workers accordingly, and schedule all activities in perfect sequence in order to complete this monumental project on time. Furthermore, all of this had to be done during the Christmas break. As expected with any remodeling project, my wife and I changed our minds a number of times about the design, parts, and scope of work (i.e., tiles, shower bars, toilets, paint, etc...). Throughout the entire process, Mr. Rad displayed utmost patience and professionalism. He always kept a very positive attitude, and demonstrated amazing understanding when we changed course on him. He constantly stayed on top of his employees to make sure they completed their various jobs with the highest quality. He would even have them redo tiles, or other installations, if he was not 100% satisfied with their work. In the end, our project was completed on time; one day before the kids returned from their winter vacation. Completion of this renovation, within such a short time, with such high quality, and reasonable price, reaffirmed my confidence in Radstone Remodeling and Mr. Jim Rad. I highly recommend this company for any remodeling project, and will certainly hire Jim to do all my future remodeling projects. read more

My wife and I did a kitchen remodel with Radstone after receiving four bids for a project to replace our large countertop and new sinks. Jim and team were absolutely professional by holding true to the quote despite finding a few unexpected leveling anomalies with our older cabinets. They replaced the sub-boards and leveled without additional cost. I have had quite a few home projects done with many contractors and its rare to find a team that were ontime, clean and performed the install perfectly and an affordable cost. I will definitely use Radstone again ! Jim is a pro and a good guy you can trust. read more

Jim Radstone and crew did a complete remodel on my bathroom in Aliso Viejo and it turned out awesome. Jim was on the job, on time, each work day to get the subcontractors instructed and started on their projects. I was able to purchase my own materials to be incorporated into the job and Jim's crew would take care of the install (i.e.: light fixtures, mirrors, faucets etc.). Those, coupled with the materials I ordered through him (shower tile, vanity, etc)...the finished product is a dream. As I added other details to the job such as painting the bedroom, Jim coordinated everything and accepted my changes with a smile :) I appreciated his patience and advice through the process as his experience made choices far less daunting. With any remodel experience, there may be things you want to alter along the way, Jim took care of these requests with a smile. I really appreciated his flexibility. Thank you Jim for the beautiful bathroom. We will be contacting you and your crew for future jobs. read more

On-time and on-budget. I wish more GCs were like Jim when it comes to delivering. Jim can get busy with multiple projects at a time, but he assigned a project manager for my remodel. And Jim did do visit once/week to see how things were going. He was pretty responsive via text and ensured things were complete. Straight up honest and I'd recommend him to my friends. read more

Jim did a wonderful job remodeling our kitchen with new cabinets, quartz and backsplash. we are very pleased with the finished product, the price and quality of work. Jim is a true gentleman and a pleasure to do business with. read more

Very odd, we really wanted to use Radstone given the great reviews. Called 5-7 times over the course of 2 weeks, never picked up and no call backs. They were pretty responsive on Yelp messaging but not helpful at all, just simple basic replies. Every time I got a message I was left thinking "Okay, now what??? What is the next step?" Felt that we were trying to convince them to take our business - got tired of the lackadaisical approach and did just that, went with Marble Yard and had a great experience. read more

We hired Jim and his Radstone team to handle our kitchen remodel and we could not have been happier. They provided up front pricing and delivered as promised. From the initial process of selecting materials and making decisions on cabinets, Jim was a pure pleasure. He has an eye for design and style and made recommendations that were not only beautiful, but also cost effective. The construction was also great and the workers were courteous, clean and professional. Jim oversees the work and is always available if you have questions or concerns. Radstone is awesome and we are planning to use them again for our bathroom remodel. A trusted partner that delivers value and sticks to his word, you cannot go wrong with Jim Rad and his team! My wife and I are happy to refer Radstone Remodeling for your home improvement needs. read more

I love, love, love Jim Rad and his team! They converted my old, outmoded, eyesore of a tub to a chic, relaxing shower with a bench. Jim was great in helping me choose the tiles and trim and never once did he try to push any product or service on me. Because of my budget constraints, I just had them do the shower first... I plan to have them do the rest of the bathroom, my floors and the kitchen countertops a little at a time and he's okay with that. His team was prompt, professional and efficient. They finished on time and on budget. I am so glad my co-worker recommended him to me - he'd done their home remodel and they were very satisfied. I definitely recommend him and will definitely be going to him for my other projects. read more

Once again, our experience with Radstone Remodeling was professional, on time, on budget, and all subcontractors were respectful of our home. Jim had helped us replace floors and remodel our master bath in the past. When pipe leaks caused us to completely replace our kitchen, Radstone is the only GC we would consider. Bob and Nina assisted with every detail and question, we couldn't be more pleased with the outcome. We do not hesitate to recommend Radstone to our friends and family. read more

I worked with Bob Rad on redoing a part of my kitchen. We needed to extend a section of a countertop which means taking out existing cabinets and putting in new ones. It's not easy to match existing quartz counters or cabinets or backslash but someone Bob and his team did it! He found the countertop and cabinets that matched. We were really happy with his work. All his contractors were really awesome from his countertop guys to cabinet guy to tile/backslash guys. I will definitely use his team again and will recommend him to my friends and family. Thanks Bob again! read more

Jim Rad is your dream contractor. We remodeled our kitchen with custom cabinets, countertop, backsplash, sink & appliances. Jim's crew were here as scheduled, did amazing work and cleaned up before they left. Jim was always reachable and was here every day. My whole kitchen was transformed in less than 3 weeks! Jim is honest, personable and always has a smile. He offered great suggestions and addressed every issue with patience and insight. On time + on budget = happy clients! Next up: bathroom remodel!! We were referred to Jim Rad and Radstone by a neighbor whom we trusted, and just completed a kitchen remodel with him (tile floor, cabinet refinish, stone countertops and backsplash, lighting, more). The entire experience was OUTSTANDING. We had recently done two bathroom remodels with other companies, so we had a good basis for comparison. Both earlier experiences were horrible -- overpriced, slow, poor communication and results that didn't match our expectations. Radstone was different -- professional and knowledgeable, excellent pricing (no surprises), timely, prompt, good communication and results that far exceeded our expectations! For our next remodel project we will make only one phone call -- we strongly recommend Jim Rad and Radstone. read more

I only have good things to say about Mr. Jim Rad and his team at Radstone remodeling. In this day and age when contractors do not stand behind their work or lack integrity, you will not find that with Jim and his team. Jim is an honorable and decent man, did all three of our bathrooms and flooring and staircase on time and on budget and after a year it still looks great. We have had some minor issues a year later, Jim did not hesitate to get it taken care of and he refused any payment from me. It's refreshing to meet someone who stands behind his work. I highly recommend Mr. Jim Rad for all your kitchen, bathroom and flooring needs. read more

After meeting with a few contractors from OC, my parents decided to go with Jim. Jim has the most reasonable price, excellent service, and always return calls. We had to change the entire kitchen, all the floorings, 2 complete bathrooms, and some minor repair work. Lots of work, but Jim and his crew finished the project on time and within budget. Like any other projects, there were some bad surprises, but Jim solved the problems right away, and my parents were happy. He also came over at least once or twice a week to check on everything. A+++, highly recommended. read more

Radstone is rad. Nina helped with a bathroom vanity countertop replacement. Although prices on quartz went up due to tariffs (thanks to you-know-who) during our planning, she gave me the original quoted price. The installation crew were professional and did a seamless job. I highly recommend Radstone if you have any remodel needs. read more

Bad quality. No ownership of mistakes or honoring the warranties signed in the contract.

Jim is very thorough in his estimates, doesn't cut corners. Thank you Jim!

After talking to a few contractors, we hired Jim to install a back-splash in our kitchen and redo the tile around our fireplace. Jim and his guys did an outstanding job. A couple of weeks later we had him redo the entire downstairs flooring, some cabinetry, drywall, electrical, and the entire powder room. Jim is a great guy to work with, fair, and stands by his word. Look no further, he will not disappoint. read more

Jim is fantastic and his crew does excellent work at a very reasonable price. I had my countertops and sink replaced and Jim made the process so easy for me. I love the granite and the bull nose on the edges. The sink sets perfectly within the granite countertops. The plumbers were very knowledgeable and skilled. They even came back to my house at no extra charge to install a new garbage disposal because when they first came to hook up the sink, I didn't know I needed one. I am so happy with the outcome of my kitchen! My best friend said he's not seen me smile this much, nor my grin be as wide as it is for a very long time. I have Jim and Radstone Remodeling to thank for that! read more

I have worked with Jim from Radstone on several home remodeling projects and he is fabulous. He is an honest business man who has tremendous talent in doing entire home remodeling including kitchens, bathrooms, entry ways, and the list goes on. He has transformed our home and was extremely fair with us and showed us ways when possible to cut costs. One of the things I liked the most was his integrity and his attention to detail. We feel very fortunate to have met Jim and highly recommend him for any home improvement project-in fact he has done such a great job with the inside of our home that now we are getting plans from him for the backyard! Our sincere thanks to Jim!!!!!!!! read more

When searching through contractor companies to keep an existing room addition from over settling, Radstone Remodeling was the only one to bring a solution. At the same time we decided to fully remodel our kitchen and update the first floor. We discussed all of this with Jim Rad, who brought great ideas that he later made into reality. I heard a lot of bad experiences people have with contractors however, working with Jim was quite the opposite. Jim has so much integrity, he treats you as if he is remodeling his own home and not trying to sell you something you don't need. If you are looking to remodel, with Radstone you have the use of Jim's years of experience, great resources, and simple honesty to make the remodeling experience a good one. Jim is on the job every day to make sure the work is on schedule, being done as agreed, and is as clean as possible. I am very pleased, and would not use any other contractor. read more

I had to change my entire kitchen, hallway and powder room floor because of a water leak. I also asked Jim for additional work such as changing my kitchen backsplash, changing my island countertop to a bigger one and installing lights under the kitchen cabinets. These all may seem simple but there were some complexities to adding the wiring and ensuring that my old powder room vanity was reinstalled without damaging the existing backsplash (which happened to my guest bathroom with another contractor... more about that when I write my review for that other company) Jim did a great job not only with the project and the price quote but most importantly, the timeline. I travel quite a bit for work so we agreed on completing the work at a specific timeframe and he delivered completing the job a day ahead of schedule. I will not hesitate to recommend this company to whoever needs to renovate their home. read more
