Beds were smaller than we had requested. The lobby area smells good and looks inviting. If you're looking for only a place to sleep then this place will work. If you want any sort of luxury, go else where. Found old dirty socks, trash wrappers and drink bottles underneath our beds. Staff don't acknowledge you when you walk past them. For the price you pay it's not really that worth it to me. The main hallways to the rooms on the floors have no AC! So it's incredibly humid and hot in hallways. You could tell both our bed side tables had not been cleaned off since the last person. There were still cup ring marks and spot from something spilled. The bed way half made, the door was left open to the balcony, so it took awhile to cool down the room. The view was the good thing about the room and the comforter was super nice. read more

This was the hotel I stayed at during my first of two nights in Cincinnati. It only takes a few minutes to get to downtown Cincinnati from this hotel, which is nice. You can't walk anywhere though. The surrounding neighborhood is a little sketchy. I actually went to the McDonald's near by that night because almost nothing else was still open that served food when we got back from hanging out in the city. We were in the drive thru line when a guy was yelling while placing his order. He then popped open the trunk of his car to get something out while he had his car parked with his buddies just hanging out screaming from inside the car It was really weird, and we didn't wait to see what he was doing. On a good note, there's underground parking at the hotel. Therefore you don't have to worry about your car. The hotel room itself was unimpressive. It was fairly small with an uncomfortable bed. The toilet was clogged when we got to the room too. We had to call to have it fixed as soon as we got there, and they cared for it while we went out to dinner. The balcony ended up being really nice because there were fireworks being shot off from the Great American Ball Park that night and we watched them from our balcony. I was unimpressed with this hotel and decided to try my luck elsewhere for my second night in Cincinnati. read more

I stayed here 13 weekends over the fall. The staff is incredibly helpful and accomodating. A few reviews complain about the noise from the interstate-- it's not that bad. All the rooms are clean. There are NO bed bugs. The showers are hot and clean! Head down to their hotel bar, Kellly's. They have beer specials on a regular basis and their Nachos are pretty good. WOW! Where to began? I guess the best thing they could do for this hotel is demolish it & start over. The idea/concept is ok, maybe a little gimmicky, but I fell for it. The beds were lumpy and hard, the pillows were essentially none existent (as soon as you put your head down it flattened out like a tissue). The furniture looked as if they bought it from a garage sale down the road. The decor was as bad as the 360 restaraunt (see my review of that dive). The noise level was unacceptable, and we weren't even on the interstate side. The TV channel selection was a joke. I had better stations when I was a kid and there was only 4 channels! If this hotel charged a lot less per night it might garner 2 or 3 stars, but the prices we paid, I expected a lot more. I didn't have high expectations, I was traveling for business and wanted a hotel between the meeting location and the airport. It wasn't terrible, just less than expected. My room smelled musty and the hotel didn't appear to be cleaned or maintained very well. The worst part of the stay was the musty smelling room, but it was tolerable for a night. The location was close (5 min walk) to a cool strip of restaurants and bars on Main Street, which were, unfortunately, mostly closed at 10 pm on the Tuesday night I arrived. There are more affordable hotels by the airport which might be a safer bet for a clean and well maintained hotel. read more

If you are looking for a hotel with a lot of broken amenities, this is your spot! From the business center with non connecting computers to the oddly rigged broken shower to the out of commission top floor lounge... If it seems like it should be a nice part of your stay, it's not. It's broken. This was probably a top flight hotel about 25 years ago. It was clean and a fine place to sleep despite a bunch of fired up hillbillies running around. This must be a targeted spot on the Saturday night bachelor/bachelorette party circuit. The staff is nice and have that "doomed Combat troops left behind" feeling. I got a good deal on rate from Shatner, and would stay again at a big discount. Otherwise don't pay going rate at this joint. read more

Our room was nice with a great view to downtown Cincinnati. My friends mattress was old and bend. She had bad back pain on the next day. Also a nice pool is located close to the lobby. It was a clean and nice area. good to relax. We went to their sunday brunch in their spinning restaurant. That was really fun. The food was good, and the staff was nice. As much as we love having conversations with staff members, but we wanted to eat breakfast and one of the chefs did not leave us alone. Our family did an impromptu Thanksgiving here. We stayed 4 days and 3 nights in 3 rooms. The staff were lovely. I even played a joke on my sister here that she was going to get an upgrade to a penthouse and they were good sports about it (didn't think my sister would actually believe me and go downstairs expecting a penthouse/ sorry). The pool was loads of fun. The attached spinning restaurant was Amazing. Honestly a very nice and inviting place. A+ to the staff. read more

Note: I didn't stay here, I was here for a conference so this is *just* a review of the conference room and amenities (food was served.) The conference room was alright - water was ready on the tables and everything was nice and clean. The only real problem came when equipment provided didn't really work too well and the food service. I can't blame the hotel for the technical difficulties, but they aren't off the hook either. It seemed to be an issue of the computers not talking to the hotel's projectors and remotes. The food service was okay - the water on the tables wasn't kept filled and while the servers were quick and good at their job otherwise, the food itself was kind of mediocre and not worth it. I don't like the decorations at all, but that's a personal thing too. It's clean and well kept but dang is it ugly. read more

We used the Radisson for all of our out of town wedding guests, and it was fantastic. The rooms are small but classy, and our guests appreciated the true "Cincinnati" feel of the hotel, along with a view of the skyline. The room rate was reasonable, the restaurant food good, and the service exceptional. I would definitely recommend this hotel for a getaway weekend, business trip, or group rate. My wife and I went here to celebrate our 15th wedding anniversary. The room we had was very nice and though you could hear some of the noise from the highway it was not bad. The people working the front desk were very friendly and helpful, and one young lady working even went out of her way to modify my room to better fit the needs of my party. The neighborhood is not the best. There are some nice bar/cafés near but the walk to them wasn't the best. We turned two corners and were approached for money three times. The hotel didn't keep the door from the parking garage locked, so I was uncomfortable going to the fitness center on the low floor alone early in the morning. If you want to order room service, I would advise against it. Our breakfast was overcooked and they charged us an extra $2 on two of the items we ordered. Also, room only had decaf coffee in it. When I asked housekeeping for regular, she said that's all they had. I had to go down to the desk and pick it up myself. I told the hotel desk about the rooms service and she offered to refund our $4. If you are just looking for a place to sleep and get back on the road, then this could work for you. read more

This hotel was nice, but nothing spectacular for the price point. I did enjoy the fact that our room had a balcony, but that was about the extent of my excitement. We got a spectacular view of the parking lot and the holiday inn across the street, the hotel seemingly hasn't been renovated in a decade or so, and our room had a mildewy smell. On top of the $125 nightly rate for a pretty average hotel, you have to pay approximately $13 a person for breakfast from a very limited menu. It wasn't a bad experience, but you're definitely just paying for the brand name. read more

So, riddle me this... Why would a hotel allow a cleaning crew to vacuum at midnight above and outside the hallway of a guest room that is occupied? This happened to me last night as I was trying to sleep. When I told the front desk this morning, they explained that they have a night crew that comes in to clean and apologized and explained that this is their policy, and what they can do to help? I said well there's nothing to be done NOW, I was simply trying to understand why a hotel would allow a cleaning crew to service around occupied guest rooms! I think this hotel should rethink the times they allow their crew to clean. If that's not possible they should ban them from cleaning around occupied and paid for rooms. Unfortunately it doesn't stop there. There are two restaurants located in the hotel The Fifth Lounge and the supposed 4 star restaurant Eighteen. Concerning The Fifth Lounge: Be prepared to wait for an inordinate amount of time. We waited approximately 1.5 hours for a salad! I understand being short staffed but not communicating this and allowing a dish to come this late is beyond bad service, its rude. Eighteen is nice with a rotating view of the river and surrounding area. We had an ok experience there, the food is good, but the service doesn't match the ambiance. Our server was rude and seemed annoyed to explain the menu and serve us, which is their job! read more

I'm in the bed of this wretched hotel as I type this and this is definitely one of the worst hotel stays I can remember, and I don't have incredibly high standards. The night prior I stayed in a 2 star hotel in a different city that ended up being excellent because the AC worked wonderfully and the water got extremely hot. Here, the water is lukewarm and we had to sleep with our balcony door open all night in order to cool down. The pillows stunk like they were washed and not immediately dried. The room smelled of cleaning chemicals and very strong body odor as soon as we walked in. The audio on the tv would randomly mute without having pressed the mute button, but when you flipped the channel and came back the audio would be working. I've gotten about 4 hours of sleep and I will never return here. read more

The hotel was good, but the surrounding area was a little too sketchy and the main thing that bothered me was the sign at the entrance of the parking garage that said "The hotel is not responsible for broken into vehicles while in parking garage." I prefer a secured or monitored parking area, especially if surrounded by potential crime. Also I checked in late (after midnight) and the service could have been more helpful and informative. This hotel is your classic middle of the road older downtown hotel. Pro's are its location, free parking, free wifi, and friendly staff. Cons are its age and noise due to the highway nearby. My room was comfortable and relatively clean. It could definitely use a new carpet and some new furniture but overall all a very nice room. Kelly's Restruant offered an affordable breakfast buffet that was well stocked and tasty. Overall a good hotel with great location to downtown. read more

We were returning from the beach, minding our own business and wham, a major snow event struck. It took 5 1/2 hours to drive from Louisville to Cincinnati, a drive that is normally about an hour or so. Well, the wife had enough and made me stop driving just outside Cincinnati in Covington, Kentucky. We found the Radisson and stopped for the night. We were greeted by Tiffany at the front desk and she was very pleasant as she checked us in. She got us a room with a great view and complimentary drinks at the bar. She really made us feel very welcome, hats off to her!The food at Kelly's Public house was great and reasonably priced. The people who work here are very nice but not always very helpful. They did have our room ready for us when we checked in at 5:30AM (for an extra $35 - well worth it since we were dead tired from the red eye flight) which is the only thing keeping this from being a 2-star review. Their business center is non-functional. Yes, the computers turn on but they take 20 minutes to load anything and the printer was broken. When I asked someone at the front desk to print my Maid of Honor speech (kiiiiind an important thing to have), they promised me it would be waiting there when I returned. The next morning, nobody had any idea what I was talking about and it was a HUGE ordeal to get a simple 2-page document printed when their business center SHOULD HAVE been working anyway. Rooms were very marginal. Decent linens but everything was pretty dated. There are a few other hotels nearby like a Hampton or Holiday Inn Express (I think) that looked newer. If I had it to do over, I might have opted to stay there. read more

We needed to print something and were having format troubles in the business center, sot he front desk associate had us email our file to him so he could print it int he office. We were desperate. Avoid at all costs! A group of us went to an event that was hosted inside the Radisson ballroom on February 10th and considering we would be drinking decided it would be best just to reserve a few rooms and stay on site of that event and make a night out of it. Lets start with dinner: My wife and I,as well as the rest of our group that consisted of nine left feeling very disappointed. We decided to have dinner upstairs on what they call "Eighteen at the Radisson" and was completely underwhelmed, (we could have saved quite a few hundred dollars and had better food and service at a local steak chain). Being a regular in local fine dining establishments I warn that if you are looking for even low level fine dining this is not the place,They attempt to offer fine dining prices with food that at best rivals a local buffet. Be sure if you do decide to try this place that your glasses and dining plates are clean (Seems to be a problem here) Staff: Other than the front desk staff (which I'll touch on in the hotel part of this review) I only had interactions with three other hotel employees, one of which was the bartender inside the event (which he may have been hired by the event host for all I know) and he was great, made the drinks fast, apologized deeply when they ran out of alcohol and directed me to the bar inside the lobby to get more drinks while they waited on having the bar inside the event replenished, The bartender inside the lobby bar was under pressure as the event guests were spilling into the lobby bar for drinks while the event bar was out and handled it as well as someone could handle it, I applaud her for getting people drinks as fast as she was. The third employee, while I dont know his name I was told he was the GM, I was asking an event worker what time the lobby bar would stay open until and he was unsure but pointed out a shorter grey haired gentleman and said "ask him, he's the GM" So I asked the man what time it would stay open and he looked right at me and said "until it closes" and continued walking away, Now, I try to give the benefit of doubt most of the time and I understand he was in a rush apparently but there is no reason to treat any guest the way he treated me, even if the food was fantastic,his attitude alone would make me question a return visit to this hotel. Hotel stay: There were three couples in my group who decided to reserve hotel rooms for the night so we could travel just up stairs after a fun night at the event that was hosted inside the ballroom, Checking in was easy however the front desk staff was quite unprofessional and seemed like they wanted nothing to do with being there and were in no rush at all to check people in, I specifically asked for the best view available and was so lucky to get a view opposite the city and overlooking the exit ramp (I understand if there were no rooms left with a view but at least tell me that while checking in). We dropped our bags in the room and left for dinner and did not return to our rooms until quite late. Once inside the room later that night we noticed a very moldy smell in the room, one of the lamps did not work and it just didnt seem as clean or nice as a hotel that boasts such claims of being a higher end hotel. When we woke up and were set to meet our group that also booked rooms for breakfast across from the hotel we were missing a couple, When we called to make sure they were awake they told us they decided to take a Uber home later the night before because they found bugs inside their room and refused to sleep inside the room, The third couple in our group complained of loud noises coming from the expressway as well as they agreed that they felt the room was dirty and also had an odor inside it. In conclusion I strongly advise against eating or staying inside this hotel, my wife and I spent almost $700.00 between dinner, our room and drinks for the night while our friends spent roughly the same and for low class service, F-rated food and local motel quality rooms,this place is grossly over priced and underwhelming, I know a group of local Northern Kentucky residents who will never walk inside this building again and hope this extensive review will help those considering this place save money and choose a better destination. read more

Calamari first- super greasy almost drenched in oil. Then the pork chop and New York strip. The meat looked and tasted like It came from Kroger. And Kroger meat isn't even as low of quality as this was! Then the cake at the end tasted like It has been sitting for weeks in a freezer then defrosted. My boyfriends water was DIRTY due to the glass maybe not being clean enough. And the next day both of us had our stomachs in a tizzy. I want to give this hotel a better rating but I can't. The #1 reason I wouldn't come back is the noise. I got a room that isn't even over the interstate and it is deafening at times. Forget a restful sleep. I brought my noise machine and I had to blast it. Having said that, the hotel has a lot of other things rights. My hotel room was clean and sufficient, it was of good size, and had a great view of the city. The best thing, though, is the staff. I was here for a conference, so I saw many of the same people over a 3 days period. Everyone was very courteous and pleasant. Sorry I wouldn't recommend for light sleepers, but maybe teh heavy sleepers would fare better. read more

I felt the only plus side to this hotel was it's location to things in Cincinnati and Covington. My boyfriend and I stayed at this hotel for his birthday celebration since we had other things planned to do in the area. We had issues with the website when making reservations. We had picked out a package and the website then offered us an "Upgrade" for $45 more, which was not an upgrade on the package we had chosen but was a separate package altogether. Thankfully we had called to check what that meant or we would have been disappointed. We got the 'romance package' which included a $50 certificate to 18 Steakhouse or Kelly's (FYI - the name has been changed to the 5th, but that wasn't printed on our certificate or anywhere else). We attempted several times to call to make reservations at the 18 but never received an answer. So, we ate at the 5th, which ended up having the same menu as the room service with nothing additional. But, we couldn't use the certificate for room service of course. The server at the restaurant wasn't great and the live music playing was too loud for us to even have a conversation or hear what the service was saying. Our package came with champagne and strawberries. The front desk said we could have them delivered to our room any time we wanted, so we called and asked for them at 8:30. They didn't come until 9, and there were only 4 strawberries on the plate. Which was pretty disappointing after paying over $100 extra for our package. Our room ended up overlooking the beautiful I75, but the balcony would have been nice to sit out on if we had been on the other side of the hotel. Overall, we didn't feel like we really got what we had paid for, and probably won't be returning. The staff wasn't the most pleasant that I have dealt with. I probably wouldn't recommend this to a friend. read more

My husband and I bought certificates off of Sweetdeals.com. The restaurant was modern and upscale. It was a great atmosphere for a date night! The menu didn't offer a lot of dinner options. But we had sandwiches that were delicious. When I wanted to alter the menu options, our server and chef were very accommodating. The service was friendly and very attentive!
