We arrived to Marriott's Village d'ile-de-France early via the supersonic Eurostar. Upon driving…read moreonto the property one is reminded of what they have agreed to. The quintessential French Countryside experience. The weather was blissful and restful and the water fountains helped us sleep so deeply. Front desk mastery was performed by Cecilia. She gave an incredible overview of resort and breakdown of what to expect within this amazing property. Among three species of water fowl ( Including Canadian Geese ) there a tribute to Claude Monet complete with statue. The Monet Garden has been designed to tribute him and reads as a true impressionist painting complete with overgrown bridge just like his signature paintings. There is the perfect amount of alge in the small pond that mimics the impressionist's burst strokes. It's beautiful to walk thru this garden and enjoy actually being 'inside' one of Claude Monet's inspirations. The Le Bistro in the lobby has a phenomenal lunch menu until about 2pm and then opens back up for Dinner. Sabawoon was such a great server and very welcoming during our first lunch at the property. I recommend the pasta with white cheese sauce or the cheese pizza as a nice welcome meal for you. Upon being granted early our room ( a large studio in building 4500 ) We discovered it looks over Le Lac and the ducks were amazing to be with a large family of Canadian geese 'honking' to welcome us. This bedding is to die for a some of the best sheets and pillows I have ever experienced. We slept deeply here in the room and really loved waking up to a peace that only the French Countryside can provide. It was wonderful to also request white robes to lounge in and enjoy. Back at Le Bistro Bar the very fun and kind Dragana was amazing to visit with each night of our stay and was well versed at handling all sorts of crowds and guests no matter what. We looked forward to our times here at the bar after our days in the Parks. This is also a Gin Bar with many types of gin and goblet like glassware to honor these incredible drinks in. The front desk staff was incredible and like Cecilia the very kind and very articulate Sitharan helped me with booking the transit between the hotel and Disneyland Paris. Here is my concern and area for improvement. This tram takes a picking up break from from 20:00 to 21:10 - this one hour and 10 minute break is hurtful to those who are looking to leave the park early and needs at least two or three other pick up times when crowds are wanting to exit the park and waiting. Many of the patrons were forced to take Ubers and got angrier to pay high Taxi costs . Also in perfect transparency, the lobby bar closes early at 22:00 and the marketplace minutes afterwards. So if one needs a night cap or two this put pressure on the bar staff such as the kind Sabawoon and wonderful Dragana. Upon leaving I was impressed with Ceclia once again and she remembered our itinerary and wished us Bon Voyage for our travel day. Incredible to remember us after checking in so many people at this busy property. I look forward to booking a stay again here and even longer for the fabulous sheets alone! Thank you everyone, you made our stay amazingly magical! Merci!

This is a beautiful property with excellent hospitality, clean rooms and a safe location. The staff is polite all around (which can be a rarity in France) and they speak excellent English (and graciously suffered through my attempts at speaking very poor French)! Check-in was easy and fast and our room absolutely gorgeous! It was far larger than I expected and basically a mansion size compared to European standards. The bed was large and comfortable and the windows in the room opened for fresh air. There was a very large bathroom and huge bedroom area with a small kitchenette that included a coffee pot, mini refrigerator, sink and stovetop! Perfect for storing your snacks after shopping at the nearby Auchan market! There's a lovely looking restaurant in the hotel too, but I'm more of a snacker so I just purchased bread and goodies from the market. The hotel is a brisk 5 minute walk to the local train station that will whisk you to the main Disneyland train station in less than 3 minutes. The hotel also runs a free shuttle to and from the park, get the number at the front desk and call them when you're ready to be picked up (a good option for returning to the hotel when it gets dark after the park is closed). It's super convenient! There are lots of cute little bistros and bakeries around the hotel and the large mall and supermarket is just a minute away by foot. I absolutely adored this hotel! It has all of the American comforts yet still has a distinctive European flair and feel. This will be my go-to hotel whenever I'm back in the area. Just a great place.

Very nice hotel and great experience…read more Location: They are about 2 blocks from the train station so it's very convenient to get to by train. We took the train from city center with luggage and it was about a 40-minute ride. The hotel has a spa that I didn't get to try as I was here to go to Disneyland Paris and my stay was very short. Staff: We were greeted immediately upon walking through the front turnstiles with a very friendly hello (in French). The gentleman at the front desk confirmed our reservations and checked us in pretty quickly. He gave us all the relevant information about the hotel, restaurant and breakfast (that was included in the reservation we booked). He even offered to help us make a reservation at the restaurant for dinner if we were hungry but we politely declined. I had an issue the next morning as I couldn't figure out how to undo the deadbolt on the door so my room door wouldn't close from the outside. I ended up calling the front desk for help and they immediately sent someone up to show me how to undo the deadbolt setting (which was to turn the door handle from the inside, downwards quickly). I wasn't the only one having the issue as I saw another couple trying to figure that out the next day and my friend had the same problem but somehow figured it out on her own. Hotel: The rooms are really big for France. I was surprised. They're more like mini apartments since you have an entryway with a kitchenette. The kitchenette comes with a small stove, sink, mini-fridge, and dishes for you to make your own food if you wanted to. The bathroom and the room itself was quite large overall. It was almost as if I was in a hotel in the US. The room was also very clean and well maintained. It looked pretty new and modern. The room also had a pretty big closet and what my friend called the 'Harry Potter secret door' closet; it was another door to the other side of the closet that one wouldn't know was a closet unless you happened to stumble upon it. The king bed was super comfortable. There is a free shuttle that will take you to the Disneyland Parks. It starts at 8:30 in the morning (when parks open at 9). It's by request at the concierge. When they drop you off, they give you a card with their phone number so you can call them to come pick you up. When I called them from the park, it took them about 5 minutes to arrive. It's very convenient. There's also a mall and an outlet within walking distance of the hotel. I would absolutely stay here again.

We enjoyed the Mira Costa at Tokyo Disney. This trip we stayed at Disneyland hotel ( there are more hotels around, like Santa Fé hotel and Cheyenne hotel ) but Disneyland hotel is the cream of the crop. I have never seen such a beautiful and luxurious hotel. The Disney influence seems minimal, no hidden Mickeys all over the place. They offer a complimentary breakfast buffet, a complimentary tea time, and soft drinks and teas and coffees ( espresso, lattes, cappuccino..) soft drinks too at no charge. The minibar in the room is filled of complimentary snacks and drinks too. The rooms are tastefully decorated, plush towels furnished. The hotel staff is very competent, knowledgeable and helpful. Everybody speaks French but they are also eager to speak English. I got lost the very evening and the staff helped me get back on track. The rooms are modernly furnished. The lights turn on automatically when you approach ( sensor sensitive ). So modern and energy saving. There is a swimming pool but we didn't use it. The Disney princesses and Mickey Minnie characters also appeared at breakfast and throughout the day in the lobby. Service is competent, prices of rooms here are also high. Splurge in Paris, you totally deserve it.

The staff was nice enough to let us go through the cast member security line. Everything was nice and clean. The staff were friendly and informative. I would suggest getting a physical room key for a souvenir and in case your phone battery runs low. There was a pool and hot tub. Two restaurants and a coffee shop. A really nice gift shop also. I didn't have time to check the Spa out but they did have one on site. We bought the character breakfast which was really pricey but I'm glad I did it. The seafood buffet was actually terrible. The lobster was freezer burnt and the serving utensils were mixed in some of the gluten free items so I had limited choices. There was a lot of confusion on what was gluten free and they handed me a large book written in French to decipher. I won't ding the hotel for their buffet though. The hotel was right next to the park and we got a one hour early entrance. Especially nice hotel and lovey experience.

The process is so outdated ans unnecessary. They didnt have resort maps in English so they gave me one in Spanish, which was totally fine. While we were waiting to check in we saw Goofy at the character meet and greet spot. It was very nice to have the opportunity to see the characters at the hotel where its less crowded than the parks. The buffet breakfast is okay, its in a conference room in the basement of the hotel which doesnt feel great for the price. There were a lot of options for all types of diets. The pool was nice. We were there during June so the indoor/outdoor sections were both open. The pool definitely didnt seem super clean, especially near the bridge. But it served its purpose. The hotel gift shop was quite small but did have standard gift shop merch. Our room was absolutely awful. There was an electric tea kettle base with no kettle. No beverage cooler but a chair shoved in the space the cooler used to be. Which revealed a lot of damage to the wall. It felt super dirty and run down, outdated. The bathroom sink smelled like something had died in it. We had to keep the drain closed or it stunk up the whole room. The shower was half working. The baby cot provided did not have a sheet ( bring one from home) and it was FILTHY. There were no ice machines anywhere nearby. My husband went on a 30 minute journey to find one. The location is very nice - it is easy to walk to and from the parks and disney village. The onsite security is a bonus so you dont have to go through security again entering the park. Overall for the cost and what you get, Id skip this and choose a different hotel on property. Did not feel the Disney magic at all.
