We usually stay at the Disney property of the place we visited, just for the convenience of going back to the hotel and rest, and also for the direct access to the park. We enjoyed the Mira Costa at Tokyo Disney. This trip we stayed at Disneyland hotel ( there are more hotels around, like Santa Fé hotel and Cheyenne hotel ) but Disneyland hotel is the cream of the crop. I have never seen such a beautiful and luxurious hotel. The Disney influence seems minimal, no hidden Mickeys all over the place. They offer a complimentary breakfast buffet, a complimentary tea time, and soft drinks and teas and coffees ( espresso, lattes, cappuccino..) soft drinks too at no charge. The minibar in the room is filled of complimentary snacks and drinks too. The rooms are tastefully decorated, plush towels furnished. The hotel staff is very competent, knowledgeable and helpful. Everybody speaks French but they are also eager to speak English. I got lost the very evening and the staff helped me get back on track. The rooms are modernly furnished. The lights turn on automatically when you approach ( sensor sensitive ). So modern and energy saving. There is a swimming pool but we didn't use it. The Disney princesses and Mickey Minnie characters also appeared at breakfast and throughout the day in the lobby. Service is competent, prices of rooms here are also high. Splurge in Paris, you totally deserve it. read more

We bought the 3 day 2 night package with the park hopper. We got to the Park early from the Paris train. We had a hard time figuring out where the entrance of the hotel was. The staff was nice enough to let us go through the cast member security line. Everything was nice and clean. The staff were friendly and informative. I would suggest getting a physical room key for a souvenir and in case your phone battery runs low. There was a pool and hot tub. Two restaurants and a coffee shop. A really nice gift shop also. I didn't have time to check the Spa out but they did have one on site. We bought the character breakfast which was really pricey but I'm glad I did it. The seafood buffet was actually terrible. The lobster was freezer burnt and the serving utensils were mixed in some of the gluten free items so I had limited choices. There was a lot of confusion on what was gluten free and they handed me a large book written in French to decipher. I won't ding the hotel for their buffet though. The hotel was right next to the park and we got a one hour early entrance. Especially nice hotel and lovey experience. read more

And don't even get me started on the location right next to Disneyland Paris and close to Walt Disney Studios what a dream. Now I need to go back here so bad. I had the pleasure of staying at the newly rennovated Disneyland Paris hotel in early July. Staying at this amazing hotel has always been on my bucket list but due to timing and numerous other reasons I have never had the opportunity to stay at this hotel up until recently. The Disneyland Paris Hotel is located in Marne-la-Valley, France. Marne-la-Valley is located about 20 miles east of Paris. The hotel and the rest of the resort was initially closed in 2020 due to the pandemic and instead of reopening when it was safe to do so the hotel decided to do a major refurbishment and as a result of the pandemic and the decision to undertake this major refurbishment the hotel was closed until January of 2024. Thankfully a month or so before this gorgeous hotel was due to reopen the reservation system was active and I was finally able to secure a reservation to stay at this stunning hotel. I finally was able to tick this bucket list item off my list. The exterior of the hotel, the lobby and the hotel rooms are not only stunning but this amazing hotel is also run by some of the most friendly, knowlegeable and really amazing people. Everyone from the concierge team to the peope that clean the rooms were friendly, knowledgeable,were happy to assist with anything from securing a dinner reservation at one of the many popular restaurants to advising guests on the best way to get a spot in front of the castle in Disneyland Paris in order to watch the infamous Disneyland Paris Drone show and the fireworks. In addition to the many things I mentioned above about why I was really impressed about the amazing team running this gorgeous hotel, the other thing that really impressed me about the team of people running this hotel was that many of the people running this hotel if not all these people spoke multiple langauages and fluently. One of the many perks of staying at this 5 star hotel is that it is located at the entrance of the Disneyland Paris theme park which means that guests of this hotel have a designated entrance into and out of the theme park. In addition, guests of the Disneyland Paris hotel don't need to go through the security check point located in the Disney Village every day they enter the Disneyland Paris theme park, unlike the other hotels located within the Disneyland Paris resort. The reason is because the Disneyland Paris hotel is located right at the entrance of Disneyland Paris and hence beyond the Disney Village security check point. The close proximity to Disneyland Paris and all the wonderful perks that come with being a guest at this stunning hotel comes at a price but in my opinion it is worth every penny. One of the many perks that I personally like is that for every night of your stay at the Disneyland Paris hotel you get a 2 day park hopper ticket for all the guests that are in your party. For example, if you are a family of four staying at the Disneyland Paris hotel for one night, you would receive four 2 day park hopper tickets which will enable all 4 members of the family of 4 to access Disneyland Paris theme park and the Walt Disney Studios Park soon to be known as the Disney Adventure World for two days. Based on my experience as a guest of this beautiful hotel, I highly reccomend this hotel for any future trips to Disneyland Paris! read more

We stayed for 3 nights and did 2 days in the park. The location of the hotel is amazing and with extra hours you can get in the park early and before most of the crowds. It was great to be able to just walk right up to the Magic Kingdom within 10 minutes of leaving our room. We did have some issues at check in (no AC and the tub would not drain). We were there during the recent heat wave so the AC was needed. We stopped by the front desk the next morning (we arrived late and the kids needed to sleep) to let them know. When we returned to our room that evening after the day at the parks all items were corrected and in working order. When we checked in there were some welcome items for our kids (small plush). I am not sure if that is common, but our kids loved having the extra magic when they arrived in the room. We do live in Orlando and visit the resorts often so the theme in the room was interesting to see a mix of movies and characters in the room. Nothing bad about it, but interesting since Orlando is so fixed by resort. We had a great stay and will stay again if we head back to DL Paris. read more

The Castle Club was an amazing experience. We stayed in a Theme Park View room for one night. I think this was the perfect plan since we were visiting the parks for two full days. We checked into our room on the first day around 7:30AM. This was perfect for us because we were able to have bell services hold our bags until our room was available. Official check in is at 3:00PM. It is definitely not cheap to stay in the Castle Club, so I wanted to be able to enjoy every minute of the benefits from start to finish. At check in we were given our pass that stated we were hotel Guest. This gave us access to extra magic hours as well as amenities around the hotel. At this time we were also given our VIP fastpass. (The VIP Fastpass works on all attractions that offer the standard Fastpass service. With the VIP Fastpass there is no need to get a return time, and you are able to use it at the same attraction multiple times. This works for the full day of check in as well as the full day of check out) Since we checked in so early we were able to use the Extra Magic Hours, VIP Fastpass, and complimentary breakfast with characters for the day we checked in. They handed us a temporary key card to use the private elevator until our room was ready. We stayed in room 2406 which had an amazing view. However it was on the far side of the building, so there are other theme park view rooms that are more centered. We stayed on the 4th floor, and the club is located on the 3rd floor. I preferred this because we had a higher view of Disneyland. In the afternoon, there are complimentary snacks. When we were there they offered non alcoholic drinks as well as small sandwiches. The main thing I did not like about the Castle Club was the service in the lounge. The servers were not attentive and seemed annoyed if you asked for assistance. They state that non alcoholic drinks are complimentary throughout the day. However, the servers in the Castle Club seemed annoyed if you asked for multiple drinks or refills. One additional benefit is that you have access to the private elevator. This elevator will take you straight from then Castle Club to the main entrance of Disneyland park. If you want VIP service this is definitely the way to go, as it is so convenient. The first day we ate breakfast we dined with Smee, Mickey, and Goofy. On the second day it was Mickey, Pluto, Donald, and Daisy. Characters change on a daily basis and there is no way to know who will be there ahead of time. read more

A hotel where I had the opportunity to go several times. The best of the hotels of complex Disney, without hesitation. On the other hand it is not the one that I prefer. A direct entrance in the park is possible with certain categories of room! Nice view on the park! The éqquipement is not in rest: swimming pool, sporting room, sauna / hammam, 2 restaurants, pianos bars, jaccuzzis, tennis, etc.... But big constraint, you suspect it the price more than 750EUR at night if you take the room without tickets in the park... Bye! read more

This hotel is a bit dated but very themed and staff is all very kind, cheerful and helpful. We made the mistake of eating at the California Grill on our first night. It was lovely to see the castle and fireworks show from our seat but the food was poor. My husband had the filet mignon which was very bland. He did not at all enjoy the polenta or the mushroom mold on his plate. I had the lobster Mac & cheese. The lobster had some shell attached which I had to spit out because I didn't know it was there until I was chewing. The macaroni and cheese was very dry and had no flavor. My son liked his rotisserie chicken. We liked our cocktails-pina colada and cosmopolitan. But for the 250 euro it was definitely not worth it. Thankfully we discovered Disney Village on night two where there were many choices, we picked McDonalds and Starbucks and saved 200 euro. read more

Great experience for family with younger children! Decor: First of all the complex itself is quite charming, and if You are a Disney-mania, the decor and whole feel is very Disney'sque. Rooms: Second, the rooms are quite all right. Spacious and well suited for the average family (2 adults + 2 children). I've read some where else in the comments about filthy rooms, but ours was just perfectly clean. Friendliness: The staff was so friendly and helpful. Even though they are very busy, they always took their time to help, and the characters dressed as Disney heroes such as Mickey and Donald were so kind and friendly to our children. I've also seen comments about unfriendly staff, but we saw none of that and, quite frankly, not all guests are nice and polite people. We witnessed a few incidents with VERY impatient guests being so rude to the staff, and they handled it quite well. So, we only have good things to say about the people working at the hotel. Location: It litterally took minutes to reach both parks (Disneyland and Studios), so you can't get any closer. It was a great advantage with younger children. Also, since the food in both parks are awful, it is adviced to eat lunch at the hotel. read more

I stayed here the year the park opened and it really wowed me. So I decided to go back. Unfortunately it wasn't so good second time around. The decor in the room was looking tired and worn. It really needs a makeover. The first time I stayed I was living in Europe - and used to smaller bed sizes. Now I've lived in North America for 15 years, walking into a 5 star hotel and seeing a regular double bed instead of a king or even emperor sized bed was kind of a disappointment. Didn't use any of the facilities like the pool or restaurants, so can't really comment on those. Check-in/reception staff were excellent. Provided great info and were very polite. Pros: You're right over the entrance to the park, so getting in and out is easy - and you can just go back to your room for a couple of hours in the middle of the day if it rains, or if you're just overheated and need a rest. As with all the disney hotels on site you are allowed into the park at 8am - 2 hours earlier than general visitors. As a special for this hotel, each guest also receives a free daily fast pass which can be used on ANY fast pass ride at ANY time (other than between 1pm-4pm). This can be very useful! Cons: Mainly the price. I thought it was expensive when I went there in 1992. But this time the price just seemed ridiculous. We paid $3000 for 2 night (this included entry to the park as well though). The posted prices at reception (as of July 2014) were 1179 Euros for the cheapest room for a night (such a room can sleep 1-4 guests as it has 2 double beds), ranging up to 7000 Euros a night for the Sleeping Beauty Suite. The thing that spoiled it most for me though was the "attitude" and ineptitude of some of the restaurant staff when we went to breakfast. A free buffet breakfast is served each morning and when you check in you are given a hotel card to prove you are a guest at the hotel. Apparently you are supposed to show this card to a "greeter" at the entrance to the restaurant as you turn up for the breakfast. Anyhow, when we turned up the "greeter" had wandered away from her post and was chatting to some other member of staff on the other side of the room, so we just walked straight in - as we walked past where she should have been standing she came running across the room yelling "where is your hotel pass!". Then she made us stand around and wait so someone could show us to a table. I don't know what the point of this was - as the person who showed us to our table then disappeared again and we subsequently had to serve ourselves anyhow as it was a self-serve buffet - so what was the problem with us going in and choosing our own table? The people serving the coffee were not very efficient - and most guests seemed to end up having to get up and go to the coffee server's station and ask to have their cups filled - the "hot" water she supplied me with for me tea was luke warm - so much so that the tea wouldn't really steep. For 1179 Euros a night I kind of expect people to be a bit more poilte - especially since the only reason we tried to walk in without showing our hotel card was because she had wandered away from her post and therefore there was no one there for us to show our card to.
