The best of the best. The entire staff here is incredible. Huge shoutout to Elliot, Charlotte, Agathe, Ilham, Nicholas and the many others who made the best of the best stay for myself and my colleagues. I stayed here twice in the last three months and the place is top notch. It's luxurious in the best ways without being pretentious. The rooms are all unique, with fabric drenched walls, beds with decadent linens, and bathrooms with the finest marble and tiles. You are enveloped in its cozy ambiance. Absolutely outstanding stay. Plus, the restaurant is serving up the most tasty dishes and cocktails. It's not to be missed and this is the place to with incredible touches in the every way. I cannot wait to venture back for a third time.

Lovely and inexpensive no frills hotel near Montmartre and Place de Clichy. It was easy to find, about a block from the Metro, and walking distance from the Moulin Rouge. In 15 minutes, you can be walking up the hill to the Basilica of the Sacre Coeur, where summer nights are spent picnicking on the lawn drinking wine. I chose the Hotel Eldorado as I had heard one too many horror stories about Parisian hostels, and the single room with a shared bathroom was about the same price as a bed in a hostel, plus it was time for a little privacy. The staff was very friendly and communicated well. They don't accept reservations online so I sent a credit card payment via email to reserve my room with no problems. The room faced the street and as it was the middle of a heat wave, I had to keep the windows open so it was a little noisy, but no noise from the other guests. I felt safe and that my belongings were secure when I was out and about. No issues coming home late at night either. The hotel and room were bohemian chic, bright colors and second hand chairs, reproductions of famous modern french artists lined the halls. No televisions or phones in the rooms, but free wi-fi. The shared bathroom was always clean and I never had any issues waiting to use the toilet or shower. There were several bakeries nearby, so my mornings were spent wondering the neighborhood eating fresh croissants. The hotel also boasts a gorgeous courtyard and bistro which I should have taken more advantage of. I really couldn't have asked for better accommodations for the price and location and plan to spend all future trips to Paris at the Hotel Eldorado.

i miss paris already :( this hotel came up on my google search, tripadvisor and a ny times articles plus the website and the funky french music and makes me say oui! i traveled to paris (first internation solo trip) from dec. 1st to the 7th. due to availability i stayed in two different rooms - room 31 (double room for 73 euros) and room 36 (single -63 euros). in the end it was 6 nights and i think through currency exchange - i paid around $530 - cant beat that in paris! pros - its in a cooky neighborhood (montmartre area - for those Amelie movie followers - the cafe deux moulins is only 10-15 min walk away; so is moulin rouge and van goghs home!) very local - non chain simple french charm (no tv - no phone - which i was ok with - c'mon ur in paris!) within a 5 min. walk from the metro and many eateries -the bed is comfy and each room is decorated in its own wayroom 31 was my favorite - would have stayed in it during my whole stay but someone else booked it :(. cons -you cant book online or find through reg. websites like expedia, orbitz , etc- i had to call the hotel directly - which probably saves on cost - so its kindof ok -the walls are thin - when i stayed in room 31 - the only thing i heard was housekeeping (very loud) in the morning -room 36 was through a hallway and i heard the other rooms easier overall - Hotel Eldorado had a very positive impact on my trip and i will never forget it. would definitely stay here again *tip - i heard many suggestions to not stay in room 1 and to request a room facing the courtyard - better view

Thank you for helping make our in room chocolates and champagne special and checking us in early after a rainy travel day. We had a street facing view with the very best energy - even from floor 2 you could see it all from Arc D'triomphe to the Jardin. We had the best time in the most comfortable room and bedding was the highest of quality. The lobby bar and staff was so great while crowned by the best skylight - they told us they open this skylight once a year - Bastille Day and you can see the planes fly overhead. Incredible. We stayed here for four nights and found it's location, to be an excellent jumping off point for everything in central Paris. Everywhere seemed to be just a €10 Über ride away. We used our Bonvoy points for our spacious room (photos) and everything was included except breakfast. But for €28, you could eat like royalty in their dinning room (photos). They are in the process of updating their rooms and even though things felt somewhat dated, ours came with a huge soaker tub. Btw, the balcony view of the 8th Arr from our room wasn't bad. I would not recommend this hotel to travelers who prefer modern decor. But what's lacking in decor, the hotel makes it up in their location, friendly customer service, comfy bed, and great patio over looking the Eiffel Tower. Yes, you have to pay extra to get rooms with Eiffel Tower view but we found it to be worth it. We enjoyed waking up to the view in the morning and admiring its glittering lights in the evening. The location of the hotel is unbeatable. It's literally a few minutes away from all the luxury shops, across the street from Cédric Grolet cafe (take-away only), and the famous Cafe Angelina. The Lourve was app. 15 min walk from the hotel. A few upgrades in the room would be recommended: coffee machine (vs calling for coffee or going down to the lobby), mini fridge that's not stocked so we can put our drinks, ice machine (although we would always get our ice on the double whenever we asked for it - kiddos!). I also think newer and updated furniture would also go a long way. We bought the room with the Eiffel Tower and we were lucky to be upgraded to the suite which was amazing! It has 3 small patio overlooking the Eiffel Tower. Seperate large bedroom and living room. The living room has an outdoor patio great for private sunbathing. Oh their bed....super comfortable with great pillows, not one of those that go flat once you put your head on them. I slept like a baby! The staff - everyone we talked to were friendly and helpful. It started with Nicholas who checked us in, the gentlemen at the entrance, the ladies who did great job in cleaning our room and Tonia who checked us out. Overall a great stay and we can't wait to come back.

Our room had a king bed and a couch that opened into a bed which made the accommodations for we needed. The hallways were long so getting to our room took a minute, but that was ok and worth it because the view from our bedroom window was lovely. My favorite part was how I could open the glass doors from our room and let fresh air into the room. It was such a unique experience, and I loved listening to the city sounds while sitting by the window and reading. The hotel is centrally located as well so it was easy to get to the touristy areas as well as get to the train so we could visit some other parts of the city.

We arrived in Paris by train, traveling with my small boys and a big piece of luggage, and took the subway to Place de l'Opéra, a mildly arduous journey. We walked to the hotel and tried to check in, only to learn that the Park Hyatt would not accommodate us unless we upgraded to a much larger, much more expensive room (we'd neglected to mention the two children in our party when we booked). After much back-and-forth, my mom booked us a room at the Hyatt Madeleine, a more reasonable hotel that still gave us the benefits of her Hyatt status. It was supposedly a short walk from the Hyatt, but we spent a good twenty minutes schlepping across Paris with the children and luggage. (Very grateful to my saintly friend Ava B., who offered key support as a third adult in this unruly party.) Which is all to say, I loved this hotel the minute we walked in, reaching our destination an hour and a half after arriving in Paris. Check-in was smooth and pleasant, and we were welcomed with glasses of champagne, which we quite appreciated. There was a half-bottle of red wine waiting in our room, too, which we were happy to drink while packing to leave the next night. Our stay was brief, and we spent most of our precious time in Paris out and about. The hotel was an excellent home base, though, centrally located and very comfortable. It was less fancy than the Park Hyatt, of course, but the lobby was attractive and our room was spacious and clean. It had a king bed and a sofa bed, where my three-year-old refused to sleep, instead jumping around and harassing me and once, picking up the clean underwear I'd set out for the morning and putting it on over his pants. Breakfast was included with our stay, and we took advantage of this by going down to Café M and feeding my children chocolate croissants before leaving the premises each morning. They also got room service one night while my friend and I went out for a grown-up dinner at Brasserie Pastis, an outstanding nearby restaurant recommended by the concierge. I'm sure the Park Hyatt would've been nice, but I was impressed by the Hyatt Madeleine, both the accommodations and the hospitable service. I'll bet it was a better fit for our group, too, what with the wild three-year-old. A great place to stay during an active trip to Paris.

They were able to allow me early check-in and my room had some great wine and cake to welcome my stay and birthday. I just appreciate how much thought and effort they put to make my stay memorable. My family was able to enjoy breakfast every morning and it was delicious. I still think about their delicious, soft scrambled eggs and fresh apple juice. The location was nice and peaceful. The beds were super comfortable. They were able to accommodate my late checkout, which was great because we had a later train departure. The staff during breakfast were offering me some bags to take out pastries for our journey, which was so nice. I would not hesitate to return to this location when traveling back to Paris.

I took a direct flight from Los Angeles, while she took a flight from Madrid. I was going to land in Paris several hours after her, so I called the hotel to see if they could let her into the room before I got there. The staff told me that normally they require the person booking the room to be there in person with their credit card. However, they were able to generate a link where I was able to pay for the entire stay + safety deposit ahead of time. I gladly did so, and they were happy to let my girlfriend into the room a good 6 hours before I got there. Once I pulled up to the hotel, I checked in at the front desk. The attendant helped me with my bag, and the front desk worker showed me to my room. My girlfriend had already enjoyed the bath tub and some drinks. We had some hours to relax, before we headed out to dinner and to sight see. While the restaurant that we reserved (outside the hotel) let us down, the restaurant in house (The Lobby) took care of us well. The hotel surprised us by driving us to the Eiffel Tower in their Rolls Royce, a complementary service. We took some great photos around the tower, and in other locations, before being driver back to the hotel. The room was very nice, had a comfy bed, plenty of space, a nice bathtub, and a clean and modern look. There was a small balcony area with two seats and a small table overlooking the beautiful architecture of the surrounding buildings. The only downside is that the A/C was not up to par, but that is the only complaint I have about this place. The hotel staff went above and beyond for us. The experience exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend this hotel, if you're looking for a great time!
