Visited Hotel Raphael to see the rooftop views of Paris and wow was I impressed! You get a clear view of the Eiffel Tower and Arc de Triomphe from here. All the seats have a pretty unobstructed view so you shouldn't have any issues finding an appropriate spot. Prices are definitely on the high end most cocktails at 30 euros. But the view is definitely worth it!

From the time I first began communication with the staff at Hotel Raphaël to the time we departed, we received excellent friendly attention. The hotel arranged for very comfortable transport from and to Charles de Gaulle airport. We were greeted with smiles. Check in was very easy. Our bags were taken to our room for us. And we were escorted by elevator to our room where we were surprised by lovely pastries. The room was very clean and the beds super comfy. The bedding was luxurious and the decor truly fabulous. We spent a great amount of time on our private garden terrace with views of the Eiffel Tower and the Arc de Triomphe. We ordered room service a few times which was awesome but we really loved the red bar. The bartenders created signature drinks for us every night. Everyone was so nice with a great sense of humor. The hotel has several grocery stores nearby. And the location is central to so much. We used Uber to get around and also met with a local friend. I really didn't want to leave but will certainly return someday. Merci to everyone at Hotel Raphaël who made our stay wonderful.

We went to the rooftop for cocktails to watch set and the Eiffel Tower light up beautiful weather! As tourists it's interesting to watch Parisien's ID your origin so at first manager sat us at a table by the bar (no view and noisy) so for second round asked our wonderful polite server to move. He immediately moved us and when went around corner there were 10 open tables. We had our view and stayed 2 hours ! Service was impeccable and Le Mojito yummy with nuts and bits. the view!

The view from our table on the terasse

The Terasse at Le Raphael is one of the most luxurious bars I have ever been to. It is a bit on the smaller side, so it might be difficult to get a table on a busy day. The service is great! Don't be afraid to ask to sit at a table you want, they'll do their best to give you the best table. The hotel and the terasse are just beautiful. There is a garden within the terasse that wraps around the roof from which you can enjoy a view of both the Eiffel Tower and Arc de Triomphe. The decor is simple, with white and red chairs, with neutral tone umbrellas. The sprawling greenery and flowers really added to the peaceful ambience at this bar. It was also generally on the quieter side, with everyone sharing a few words in between enjoying the view and their drinks. The menu is quite expensive even for nonalcoholic drinks, but I think you're paying a lot of the view and experience. I ordered a peach Bellini which was exquisite, and I have to say worth the 27€. It was served with olives and some pastries. Definitely an experience to have if you'd like to enjoy Paris from a quiet rooftop with the best views in the city! I'd highly recommend going to La Raphael for drinks!

The restaurant within this hotel is very nice. The service I received was wonderful, and the food was fairly good. They have a lunch set you can select and the options are not bad. I had the baby chicken rotisserie with scallops and oysters. Everything was well made. After dining, you can go onto the 7th floor terrace and gives the most amazing view of Paris. Definitely recommended!

Arriving in Paris for the start of y honeymoon was excited and nerve-wrecking at the same time. I was nervous about the language barrier, comfort and my enjoyment level. All those issues were put to rest by the wonderful staff at the Raphaël. The hotel itself is quaint but grand, functional but opulent, and comfortable all around. When we first arrived, the kind staff let us know our room was not ready. So, they held our bags and treated us to a cocktail in their beautiful bar. There we sat amongst red velvet, orange glowing lights, and scruffy Parisian dog and sipped champagne. It was a great kick-off to the days ahead. Our room was quite large. A corner room which gave us several sets of windows and one balcony with a stunning view of the Arc De Triomphe. The bed was large and had a view of the TV, which had American programs and movies to rent. The bathroom was also large, with a separate tub and shower and was very clean. We had room service for several meals and were very satisfied each time with the flavor and quality of the food. In fact, the bolognese I had in my room was the best pasta I had in Paris. The front desk staff and concierge were also very accommodating. We often had questions about the city, requested taxis, and even shipped a package all with the help of a smiling staff. For the money and star-rating, this hotel gives a lot of bang for the buck. I would recommend getting a larger room and really using the property. Beautiful!

I would not recommend this hotel to travelers who prefer modern decor. But what's lacking in decor, the hotel makes it up in their location, friendly customer service, comfy bed, and great patio over looking the Eiffel Tower. Yes, you have to pay extra to get rooms with Eiffel Tower view but we found it to be worth it. We enjoyed waking up to the view in the morning and admiring its glittering lights in the evening. The location of the hotel is unbeatable. It's literally a few minutes away from all the luxury shops, across the street from Cédric Grolet cafe (take-away only), and the famous Cafe Angelina. The Lourve was app. 15 min walk from the hotel. A few upgrades in the room would be recommended: coffee machine (vs calling for coffee or going down to the lobby), mini fridge that's not stocked so we can put our drinks, ice machine (although we would always get our ice on the double whenever we asked for it - kiddos!). I also think newer and updated furniture would also go a long way. We bought the room with the Eiffel Tower and we were lucky to be upgraded to the suite which was amazing! It has 3 small patio overlooking the Eiffel Tower. Seperate large bedroom and living room. The living room has an outdoor patio great for private sunbathing. Oh their bed....super comfortable with great pillows, not one of those that go flat once you put your head on them. I slept like a baby! The staff - everyone we talked to were friendly and helpful. It started with Nicholas who checked us in, the gentlemen at the entrance, the ladies who did great job in cleaning our room and Tonia who checked us out. Overall a great stay and we can't wait to come back.

Our room had a king bed and a couch that opened into a bed which made the accommodations for we needed. My favorite part was how I could open the glass doors from our room and let fresh air into the room. It was such a unique experience, and I loved listening to the city sounds while sitting by the window and reading. The hotel is centrally located as well so it was easy to get to the touristy areas as well as get to the train so we could visit some other parts of the city.

We arrived in Paris by train, traveling with my small boys and a big piece of luggage, and took the subway to Place de l'Opéra, a mildly arduous journey. We walked to the hotel and tried to check in, only to learn that the Park Hyatt would not accommodate us unless we upgraded to a much larger, much more expensive room (we'd neglected to mention the two children in our party when we booked). After much back-and-forth, my mom booked us a room at the Hyatt Madeleine, a more reasonable hotel that still gave us the benefits of her Hyatt status. It was supposedly a short walk from the Hyatt, but we spent a good twenty minutes schlepping across Paris with the children and luggage. (Very grateful to my saintly friend Ava B., who offered key support as a third adult in this unruly party.) Which is all to say, I loved this hotel the minute we walked in, reaching our destination an hour and a half after arriving in Paris. Check-in was smooth and pleasant, and we were welcomed with glasses of champagne, which we quite appreciated. There was a half-bottle of red wine waiting in our room, too, which we were happy to drink while packing to leave the next night. Our stay was brief, and we spent most of our precious time in Paris out and about. The hotel was an excellent home base, though, centrally located and very comfortable. It was less fancy than the Park Hyatt, of course, but the lobby was attractive and our room was spacious and clean. It had a king bed and a sofa bed, where my three-year-old refused to sleep, instead jumping around and harassing me and once, picking up the clean underwear I'd set out for the morning and putting it on over his pants. Breakfast was included with our stay, and we took advantage of this by going down to Café M and feeding my children chocolate croissants before leaving the premises each morning. They also got room service one night while my friend and I went out for a grown-up dinner at Brasserie Pastis, an outstanding nearby restaurant recommended by the concierge. I'm sure the Park Hyatt would've been nice, but I was impressed by the Hyatt Madeleine, both the accommodations and the hospitable service. I'll bet it was a better fit for our group, too, what with the wild three-year-old. A great place to stay during an active trip to Paris.

My family was able to enjoy breakfast every morning and it was delicious. I still think about their delicious, soft scrambled eggs and fresh apple juice. The location was nice and peaceful. The beds were super comfortable. They were able to accommodate my late checkout, which was great because we had a later train departure. I was going to land in Paris several hours after her, so I called the hotel to see if they could let her into the room before I got there. The staff told me that normally they require the person booking the room to be there in person with their credit card. However, they were able to generate a link where I was able to pay for the entire stay + safety deposit ahead of time. I gladly did so, and they were happy to let my girlfriend into the room a good 6 hours before I got there. Once I pulled up to the hotel, I checked in at the front desk. The attendant helped me with my bag, and the front desk worker showed me to my room. My girlfriend had already enjoyed the bath tub and some drinks. We had some hours to relax, before we headed out to dinner and to sight see. While the restaurant that we reserved (outside the hotel) let us down, the restaurant in house (The Lobby) took care of us well. The hotel surprised us by driving us to the Eiffel Tower in their Rolls Royce, a complementary service. We took some great photos around the tower, and in other locations, before being driver back to the hotel.
