The hotel is beautiful! The staff is very helpful and professional. I got a great vibe just walking in. The hotel doesn't disappoint at all! There's plenty to do here foodie and drinkie and it's close to walkable neighborhood pubs and restaurants if that's an interest. I love that as you know! The location is perfect. There is a fee for ride shuttle to all terminals. Very convenient and easy peezy to use! I tried the bar and restaurant and was very pleased with all. Again, the staff was just great too. I checked into the Radisson Blu, and I was shocked at the experience I had. My tv was broken, my room was dirty, there was no soap or body wash in my room. They were completely empty. And after I checked in I went to my room and my keys did not work. I am very disappointed in the lack of professionalism with this location. This was a gorgeous hotel and worth the price. I only stayed one night before I flew back to Texas, but it's conveniently located around 15 minutes from the airport via taxi. We enjoyed using the spa area at night (closes 9:30pm) which had a hot tub, sauna, and steam room, as well as cold showers with different water settings. Didn't use the fitness room but it was nice as well. We also enjoyed dinner at the hotel bar area - the food was a bit pricey but still good overall. Breakfast the next morning was $22 for continental or $28 for full English breakfast. Everything was fresh, clean, and organized, really really enjoyed ourselves! read more

There were a lot of british airways customers there so the staff had their hands full. But they got us a room quickly and the room was very nice. I forgot to take a picture because traveling blues but it was very clean and modern. Their breakfast buffet is pretty good. If I had to stay near Heathrow again I would pick this hotel. read more

We had a flight cancelled, and were booked in at the Radisson Blu at Heathrow for an overnight stay by our airline, as our rebooked flight was for the next day. What a huge disappointment Radison Blu at Heathrow was! What a sadly, badly managed front desk! We called from the airport to see when we would be able to get into our room and were told that rooms would begin to be available by around 10:30- 11:00 AM, but we might not get in until after lunch. Given that check out time is 11 AM and check in time is 3 PM, this seemed reasonable. We arrived at the hotel at around 10 AM and were given a paper to fill out by the front desk. We completed it and tried to return it to the front desk. We were told to hold on to it instead. They would collect it as part of the check in process. At 11 AM a gentleman from the front desk approached us, asking if we were ready to check in. He took our paper and we followed him to the front desk. It turned out that he did not know how to use their internal room tracking system. Although someone had checked out, the room was not actually ready. We returned to our seats in the lobby, he gave us back the paper we'd filled out, and we waited. And waited. And waited. A little after noon we lunched in the hotel's restaurant, explaining that we were part of the group who were there due to a cancelled flight. The restaurant staff asked us for our meal vouchers. We had to go back to the front desk to request them. Multiple people from our cancelled flight sat for hours in that lobby. Multiple people from that cancelled flight periodically went to the front desk to ask about our rooms. We were told there would be a general announcement. No announcement came. 3 PM check in time came and went. The front desk staff that was there when we arrived completed their shift and the new staff came on. Still no announcement. Still no rooms. At 5 PM we began to wonder--did they actually HAVE rooms for us? Or were they waiting to see if there were no-shows that they could then assign those rooms to us? We approached the desk again and explained we'd been waiting for 7 hours in the lobby for a room. If they didn't actually have space for us, we needed to call the airline and get booked in elsewhere. The gentleman we were talking to looked surprised--like he had no idea that he had multiple parties sitting in the lobby, waiting for rooms. He tried to hand us the same paper form to complete that we'd already received and completed at 10 in the morning. It appears that the early shift didn't want the papers, but the late shift needed them to know they had customers waiting to be booked in. We waited for 7 HOURS, asked multiple times and got nowhere. Suddenly, 7 HOURS in, because we asked for the 10th time, we were checked in. But our adventure didn't end there. One of the keys didn't work, the room only had one set of towels (no bath mat was ever provided), and would it be too much to ask to have been advised that in order to turn on the lights in our darkened room that we needed to put a key into a reader on the wall? Apparently so. Good thing we had a flashlight handy. Apart from the completely inept management of the front desk and the questionable reliability of housekeeping, we did find that the restaurant staff was very efficient and pleasant, and the morning breakfast offering was very good. But these good points are not enough to make me ever want to stay at this, or any other Radisson again. read more

Hotel is in very desirable area, that is a plus,,the staff is great, and the food was fine, nice choice of salads. That is where the positives end. Once you are past the reception areas, it's like going into the the servants area. The room is small and dingy, no air, the disinfectant or "room freshner", makes it smell like a restroom. On a positive note, the bed is comfortable. The bathroom is functional even though who ever cleaned the room left shreds of paper on the floor. I guess I need to do more research. Shuttles run every hour but if you're tired I'd suggest a cab. The hotel is very nice. A jazzy lobby with a trendy steakhouse and lounge. The room is standard to fit tour immediate needs. I noticed and appreciated the towel warming rack in the bathroom as well as the complimentary water bottles in the mini fridge. The front desk staff were especially friendly and accommodating to our early AM departure and booked us a cab for pickup. A warm and sweet surprise at this Radisson. read more

Beware: If you book a king room, they will downgrade your booking to twin and you have no recourse whatsoever. My girlfriend and I booked a premium king room for our holiday. When I checked in they gave me twin beds instead. I went back down to the lobby to try and politely find a solution and they gave me the option to either downgrade to a double in a cheaper room with no refund or take the twin beds. The manager then became confrontational and rude, telling us a bare-faced lie about there being no upgrades available in the building and bullying us into taking the cheaper room with no refund. It is baffling that this place is rated well when they scam their customers in the light of day. Having our room downgraded is bad enough, but being refused a partial refund and being bullied for the privilege is simply obscene. read more

I had a terrifying night without any help at this horrific hotel. After a long difficult check in I got to an outdated room that was dirty. I got a request from Expedia to review my experience so I have it a negative but fair review. In the middle of the night as I was sleeping my phone rang when I answered of course the phone didn't work. It was the front desk and they called so many times I had to disconnect the phone. I went back to bed and several minutes later the manager started banging on my door! He was angry and insisting that we discuss the negative revie. I tried to tell him I was sleeping and had an early flight he relented and tried to get into my room. I went to the front desk and asked for a refund the manager came out again and started yelling at me, calling me names and using threatening language. We stayed here for one night after a long cruise. It's always better to spend the night somewhere instead of trying to make your flight. We picked this hotel because of the proximity to the airport. There is a shuttle to it but you have to purchase a ticket for it. If you drive, there is a large parking area in the back. There are two restaurants and a lounge where you are able to eat, but one of them is only open in the evening (an Indian restaurant for dinner). We ate in the lounge for lunch and it was okay. They also serve a brunch. (For dinner, ask about The Pheasant Pub. It's worth the short walk.). The reason for four stars - the size of the beds. We paid for a supreme room which is twin beds. The bed was so small that if you rolled over, there was a chance that you would be on the floor. I did find the mattress very comfortable. Would I come back here? I would since it is close to Heathrow. And that's the way it is. read more

This hotel is very close to Heathrow Airport and there is a free bus that will take you to and from the hotel. I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. After reading negative reviews, I was nervous, but all my worries were put to rest within 10 minutes of checking in. The gentleman who checked us in was very helpful and even gave us free drink vouchers to their bar because our room wasn't completely ready yet. It was our anniversary and when we arrived in the room, our bed was covered with rose petals, a very nice touch. Our room was spacious and very clean. The beds were comfortable. Any small issues that we had were handled in less than 15 minutes, we were very happy with that. Excellent and timely. We got room service twice during our stay and everything was very good. We had the burger, the onion rings, the fries, the chicken wings, and the BLT salad. My only complaints were that the bathtub wasn't as clean as I expected and that the hair dryer was connected inside the closet and you couldn't move it around the room. If you wanted to dry your hair, you had to do it standing next to the closet. This was very uncomfortable for me since I have a lot of hair and it takes me about an hour to dry my hair. An hour standing after walking around London ALL day did not make me or my feet happy :( read more

While I think the painting of the Sistine Chapel took less time, this hotel is still under renovation. This means that each time there's a new diversion, and I mean that in the British sense. The staff couldn't be nicer, though, and do work to ensure you have a nice stay. The room numbering system makes for a labyrinth, so be sure to triple check you are heading the right way to save yourself that extra mile walk you didn't need. The rooms are small, but quiet and well outfitted. And if you see a pair of shoes outside a room, those are mine, as I could not be bothered to wear those evil things one step further after a day of walking! read more

I wish I can give this location zero stars. The first time in my life experiencing blatant discrimination due to being the only black person in the lobby. Front desk clerk Romeo asked every single person in line if they needed assistance/taxi cab in the morning. And purposely excluded my party. He also had the audacity to attempt to skip the line, and have another front desk agent assist a guest in the back of us.I can't believe in 2023 a hotel chain of this magnitude can feel comfortable to accept my (Black) cash but discriminate against my skin color. We check in to find out our superior room has two twin beds this was not mentioned when we choose our flight, hotel and car service all online at once. This was the first and last time we will ever use that service. Moving on our front desk attendant Marcus was friendly upgrading our room for 30 pounds extra daily to a better room he says and allows us to check in early. We just came back from VA a day ago and now we're in London we are defiantly exhausted. Anyways we come up to our room on the fourth floor and it's super basic. I mean the lobby is beautiful as well as everything on the bottom floor. We went to the gift shop, spa area and just walked around it's all upscale and maintained well but these rooms are outdated. Not only are the rooms outdated they dirty. We went downstairs asked for new sheets because ours had a dirt stain on them and we needed coffee because there was none in the room for the krups coffee machine. Guess what they gave me in an envelope tea bags and milk where is my coffee I didn't ask for tea. And when we walked past our room the maids were all gathered around talking about us in their language. Literally looking at us as we enter the room. It's not my fault this room is not clean and I don't have coffee I'm asking for basic accommodations. We already paid and we're here for 5 days long story short we are really disappointed. The room is still dirty and the halls smell like a smokers lounge. She could see I was tired checked me in and even gave me an upgrade in my room. If that wasn't enough she showed me where the restaurants to indicate what was available, walked me to my room and close my curtains. I wanted to tip her and apologized for having no British currency and she said not think of of it my thanks is enough. We decided to stay here as a precursor to our honeymoon trip to the States. We live in London, so this really was a treat... I've passed the Radisson on many an occasion in to Heathrow and have been taken in by it's shiny blue lights. When looking to book a hotel at Heathrow it was the first that came to mind. It is the easiest to get to from Heathrow; take one of many buses using your Oyster for £1.45. As mentioned before the lobby is beautiful - makes you feel like you made the right choice. The lady on check in was delightfully friendly and convinced us to upgrade to a King room, which we did. Our room was on the second floor and as we pulled the suitcase along the corridor it suddenly got a lot easier; the last few metres are made up of a similar but much older, more worn carpet. A cosmetic problem, that ain't no thing. On entering the room my first thought was; if we upgraded what was our first room like. The room was just a normal room but with a king bed, so that was pretty disappointing. Being slightly pikey we'd bought some drinks with us. On using the ice machine by the lobby it ran out very quickly. Trying to fill the sink with cold water and the taps were labelled the wrong way round, so the minimal ice we'd foraged melted immediately. Some other things; no draught beer in the bar, you have to go to the restaurant. A very poor margarita in the bar; so orangey. Poor wifi connection in the room. Not even freeview in the room just basic channels. Couldn't open the mini bar. Car park view from window. GOOD THINGS!! The FRIENDLIEST staff (thank you!) Warm water (just turn it to cold :)) Nice waffle dressing gowns. Efficient room service. An excellent ham sandwich in the bar. Clean rooms. Most of it is cosmetic, so on booking this hotel be aware it's not a fine experience. The customer service matches up, it just ain't pretty - you're here because it's close to the airport. read more

This is a review of the Spa at the Radisson, not the hotel itself. The hotel seems nice, but I did not stay in a room. We had a seven hour layover at Heathrow and checked into the Radisson Spa for 10 pounds each. Took a shower, steam sauna, relaxed in their relaxation room. It was great! Bring a swimsuit, as the sauna, jacuzzi and relaxation room are co-ed. You could have a satisfying nap in the relaxation room if you had an alarm clock. Time permitting, visit the Pheasant pub just down New road. See my review. You can ride the local buses for free from the central bus terminal at Heathrow. The Pegasus Health Spa is absolute garbage. I went to get a pedicure. They made me lay back on a massage table and put my feet in a bucket on the table. Not only was it uncomfortable, but it put me in a compromising position. Pedicure didn't include a massage or even lotion! They used tissue paper to separate my toes. The nail polish painting was the worst part. Def didn't look like a professional painted them. All in all, they should offer manicures or pedicures since they are not equipped to do them. read more

LOCATION: This hotel is close to the airport, really close. The airport shuttle takes less than 25 minutes to get to your terminal even with stopping at other hotels. To get to London you only need one bus to Hatton Cross metro station and then straight to the center you go on Piccadilly line. BUT, it will take you a good hour an a half on average to do that. So if you are planning on getting into the city every day, it's a pain and costs money. Also, you won't be able to stay out much later past midnight, since the metro closes. ROOM: Nicely sized, enough space to put your luggage. The place is tidy and pleasant. My room was on the second floor overlooking the parking space in the back and keeping window blinds open was not an option, since during the day the numerous hotel employees could easily see inside and during the night the outside lights were too darn bright. AMENITIES: Room has iron, ironing board and even a pant press. I have not used anything in the hotel itself, but there are quite a few various rooms, as the hotel is definitely centered on catering to large and medium business meetings. FOOD: I've only had breakfast and found it quite satisfying. You got the regular eggs, bacon, taters and yogurt, as well as cereals. A few juices and loads of watermelon/cantelope/oranges/fruit salad type of stuff. SERVICE: Didn't have much use for it, but could be a bit better, especially for a place that has a 1000-crystal chandelier at the entrance. I got in early at around 10:40 am and asked if I can check-in early. I was told that I have to wait half an hour for a room to be available. I opted to wait in the entrance hall in plain view of the concierge. Fifty minutes later, tired of waiting, I came up to them again and asked if the room was ready. And yes, it was. Apparently they just didn't care to tell the waiting people (I wasn't the only one) that rooms were ready for them. OTHER: The price of 79 pounds was rather good, considering that I was in town during Wimbledon, but if you want to see the city daily, the hassle might outweigh the price. read more

Booked a one bedroom suite before my flight after making numerous calls to confirm. Upon arrival was show to a suite that was not a single bedroom one. I was surprised as I had confirmed at the checkin desk also. Went back to checkin, to be told there was a system error and that my one bedroom suite wasn't available. They had put me into a junior suite but charged me for a single bedroom even when they didn't have one available which I consider extremely underhand and on the verge of fraudulent. After 15 minutes we established that there were junior suites with separate sleeping areas and they moved me to that at the correct cost. We ordered room service and the food that arrived was cold (supposed to be hot) and pretty average. Not as expected for a hotel of this brand. After completing a survey, I was contacted by their customer service, who kindly offered a free night in a suite but wanted 2 weeks notice due to availability. I gave them 4 weeks notice and 3 hotels to choose from, but alas no room. I will not be staying in this brand of hotel at any time in the future. read more

Filthy gross and expensive. You walk in it smells like cigarette smoke. They give you a room that looks like it's never been cleaned maybe tidied but not cleaned. The bathroom is gross. This place reminds me of something I've seen in a Seedy movie. There are too many other choices around, unfortunately we are staying here tonight and will leave as soon as we can. I could see if the prices were not that expensive they could get away with this kind of stuff, but the prices are $300 per night - that's crazy. The first room they put us in was right on the bottom floor where people just look right in the room. We asked to be moved so they put us on the second floor which wasn't much better. I have to admit this is not what I was expected when I booked an "airport" hotel in anticipation of an early morning flight out of Heathrow. I mean there are the usual findings: There is a free shuttle bus 423 from bus stop 6 at the airport. Shuttle back from hotel is £4.50 and runs about every 15 minutes (trip takes 20 minutes or so). The room is updated. Bed is modern with the extended base that bangs ones foot if not careful. The bathroom is tight but functional. Ironing board and pants press are in room. It is the rest of the hotel that surprised me. The lobby was upbeat and there was an excited vibe as all sorts of travelers were present. The restaurants were top notch. Indian food is not my usual choice but the the upscale dinning at Annaya (not on Yelp) was fantastic. Modern English touches to Tandoori dishes are their specialty. The other main restaurant, (is on Yelp) is Steak and Lobster. It had a chic club meets smokey cigar steak house feel. Large plush spinning chairs are an interesting touch. In all, with convenience, functionality, great dining, and upbeat atmosphere in its favor I would definitely stay here again. read more

Overall, not a great experience. The hotel staff was rather unfriendly with a couple of exceptions. The hotel was very pricy, which is typical of the area. I had dinner at both restaurants, which in addition to being expensive, had very mediocre food. As others have noted, the hotel is dated. I was able to get a decent night sleep, as the room was quiet. The mattress was a bit lumpy, which seems fairly typical for the UK. The overall lack of flexibility in resolving legitimate concerns was probably the biggest reason why I will not return to this particular radisson. read more

I had a great visit to the Pegasus Health Spa at the Radisson. I got a one hour deep tissue massage and used their steam and relaxation rooms. The facility is not very big, but it is modern and kept very clean. The staff was very polite and helpful. I arrived about an hour before my massage to use the steam room and unwind. The floor in the hot tub and stream room area was quite wet, so take care not to slip. I started in the steam room which was good sized and very hot. Note that this area is coed! I misunderstood the woman at the desk and thought it was female only. I entered the area naked and was the only person there. I was sitting in the steam room about 10 minutes before another woman came in wearing a bikini. She gave me a quick glance as she same in, but said nothing. A few minutes later, 3 younger guys came into the hot tub area outside of the steam room in bathing suits. Before they were able to come into the steam room, the other woman told me this is a mixed gender area and she believes that bathing suits are required. I quickly wrapped the towel I was sitting on around me before they came in. With the nakedness situation behind me, I showered in the women's locker room then waited in a robe in the relaxation room for my massage. My masseuse gathered me from the relaxation room and lead me to the treatment room. It was small, but very nice. She did a great job of asking me about areas of concern and focus for the message. She did a great job. I nearly fell asleep! read more

It is rare that you need to organise conference facilities of a day but some do this regularly. I have run conventions and attended conventions at the Radisson Edwardian Heathrow and I can say it is a wonderful place to hold a convention and a nightmare. The staff are wonderful but over a weekend conferencing can fall down. Everyone in the chain works very hard but inevitably with 1,000+ people trying to pile in it can cause even the best run convention centre to fail a bit. For each fail it is bad but the staff and conferencing co-ordinators do work hard to correct them. There are a large number of diverse function spaces, able to accommodate small or large groups of people. Many have limited AV and so powerpoint presentations can be shown with as much flair as full HD movies. The large number of varying function spaces also means anything from a small meeting to a large 1,500 person convention can be held here. There are 2 large rooms which hold a large number of people either cinema or function style. These large spaces are also able to be subdivided but as there are additional medium sized rooms with numerous smaller meeting rooms, this is rarely necessary. While perhaps not perfect for an expo requiring a single large hall, it is ideal for conferences requiring a single large room for main items then smaller break-out rooms. While I feel that it is an excellent convention hotel with lots of convention space I also feel it needs to come with a health warning. read more

The rooms are a bit small but they do fill it with a very plush bed, bathroom shower could be a bit more relaxing. The decor is very dated and dark on purpose going for a very old and elegant feel. There are areas were the decor would make a wedding party picture perfect, but it made me feel like I was on the set of The Shinning. I stay at a lot of hotels. I go to a lot of conventions. Few hotels are worth staying at for a con and for your general travel. This is one of them. I stayed a total of 10 days over 2 weeks at the Radisson Edwardian and I can say that I've never found a better hotel for travel and con-going. The la-out isn't bad, there are lots of soft spaces, they had a general use internet area, a decent drinking area, a number of spots for sitting for conversation and the rates were very reasonable. The location, right down the road from Heathrow where you can catch the Tube into town easily and there are plenty of food options around at all price points, really made my day. The rooms are nice. Not overly so, they we stayed in one of the named rooms the first few days and it was very comfy, nice and large and a wonderful bathroom. The rate wasn't bad at all. The second room I had was much smaller, but still felt comfortable and clean with a good bathroom. The one complaint I had was the restaurant which was muy expensive. Yeah, I know hotel food is always pricey, but 10 pounds for a burger? I was kinda shocked. I will say that the couple of times we had the con-arranged dinner buffet was really good, especially the lamb they did, but the price was still high. I liked it, and the convention space was very comfortable. I liked the glass fish in the reflecting pools. The way they seperated the main ballroom from the smaller function spaces also worked. read more

The Radisson Edwardian is a perfectly comfortable hotel to stay in the night before your flight. The foyer is decorated in a rather opulent fashion and the cleanliness level is high. This is a very large hotel and so finding my room felt like I was Jennifer Connolley in Labyrinth. The room was a decent size with clean and comfortable beds. The decor is a little dated and the mini bar set extortionate prices (why does this need to be the standard in hotels?). I did not find there was any noise distrubance and slept rather soundly. The bar downstairs was loud. Too loud. For a hotel bar it was unnecessary to play boring lounge music and such high decibels. I was meeeting some people for the first time there and it was incredibly difficult to hold a converstation. Furthermore, the drink prices were a tad too high. We checked in but no Bell Hop to help with our luggage. Had to park my own car. Bell Hop finally was found but told us it wasn't his job to show us how the roll out bed worked. Guy finally came to work roll out bed but whole experience was not what we were expecting. read more

Pro: rooms nice and clean, nice decor, well decorated reception. Con: the worst restaurants (Annayu & Trunk) and service we have ever had in any "nice" hotel. We were put next to kids packed into a room who partied until 9am, very loud next door, woke me up at 4am, slept on and off until they left. Generally, a horrible experience. Avoid if you can. read more
