Walked in around noon and had the place nearly to ourselves. If you've never been in before and are planning on a sandwich, I'm warning you they're absolutely massive and you might consider ordering a half. Their focaccia was great, ma is a big fan. I tried the prosciutto and it was decadent. If I were to recreate it at home I'd probably go for a little less quantity of the fig spread or a little less sweetness in it, but it was undeniably delicious. Came with a mountain of potato chips and their usual tasty little pickles. Can't remember what ma tried, probably the chicken salad pesto, but she did finish her generous half sandwich--that's a compliment these days, even when she likes something she won't always manage to eat that much at once. The drinks fridge was very sparse, they didn't have a cold Diet Coke for ma but the cashier did offer and supply a glass of ice for her. I recommend you try one of their agua frescas; they're very tasty and often included with a sandwich plate. Today I enjoyed their pineapple ginger. Ma insisted on getting the tab but I recall the prosciutto was listed at $15 and having seen the amount of charcuterie on my half order, that's certainly fair. The baked goods cabinet had lots of goodies today and right now I wish I'd grabbed their peach danish. There were several scones as well as cowboy cookies, lemon cookies, some kind of muffin as well as others I've forgotten. A few beautiful fat slices of banana bread were wrapped and waiting at the register. The prices here tend to be higher but I've found their ingredients quality *consistently* and appreciably higher than other sandwich shops. Other than no cold sodas, the only other small thing was having to ask for napkins when our plates arrived. Otherwise flawless and friendly service and we were happy to see a little lunch rush come and go as we enjoyed our meal. We'll definitely be back. 23JUN25 read more

Took quite awhile to get a basic drink made, however the folks on staff were both new and were unsure of how to make it (going on 13 minutes now with an empty restaurant). When another patron came in asking for vegan options, they were also clueless. The shelves and fridge are almost empty. It is almost as if they are going out of business. I stopped in here after my kickboxing class to grab lunch. They have a grab and go area where you can pick up freshly made salads and sandwiches. I decided on the Green goddess pesto pasta with chicken and a because it was a chilly day, I also ordered a cup of the tomato basil soup. While the salad had a good flavor, I didn't particularly enjoy the pasta being part of it. However, the tomato basil soup was fantastic. Really wish I had gotten a bowl of it instead of a cup. What has happened to Radish & Dill? It used to have a deliciously executed deli menu, freshly baked goods, a great assortment of pre-made options, and high quality pantry provisions & beverages. The baked goods aren't the same quality and the offerings are slim. The quality of ingredients and finish used to be top notch. The fridge & pantry provisions are almost gone entirely. The staff used to be so knowledgeable and wonderful. Now nobody knows how to make anything and they act annoyed if you ask questions. The cashier told me that ownership changed hands and it was sold to new owners so I guess that explains the why. None of the things that made this place awesome have carried forward with new owners. What a bummer. This spot was always a stop for us at least monthly. read more

Mrs. R. and I came here and bought a container of the potato salad, the beet salad, and the olive salad. The beet and potato salads came from their deli, the olive salad, in a jar. Oh, and I also got a fresh pretzel from the deli. All were delicious. The pretzel was chewy and tasty, and the potato salad was made not with mayonnaise, but with chimichurri. The olive salad was a tapanade at its most delicious and perfect. Indeed, I have half a jar of it in my stomach -- it is, um, a sixteen-ounce jar -- and that inspired me to write this review. I know many people love this place, but I really struggle with it. I've sworn off of it in the past, but I come back about once a year to give it another shot. About two weeks ago I ordered the Turkey Apple sandwich and it was delicious. The apples and jam were a nice change and it came cold. Today I ordered the same sandwich and I didn't realize until I got home that it had been cooked. Therefore, the aioli and the jam were runny and made it basically impossible to eat. I would take a bite and half the sandwich would fall out or almost fall out. I don't know if it's supposed to come hot or cold but having it hot makes no sense. read more

Cute place but absolutely awful, slow service with rude staff. The kitchen was nicer than the staff working the register. They were out of our first two choices, chicken salad and chicken pesto, grilled cheese sandwich was cold so had to be sent back to even melt the cheese and it took about 30 mins to receive the second sandwich and still waiting on the iced tea that was supposed to be brewed. Finally got the tea and it's not even drinkable. Will not recommend or be back. They had to refund orders for people that had been waiting for and had to leave to get back to work. read more

We stopped here for breakfast during a visit to San Marcos. I had the avocado toast and it was delicious. The mousse was so flavorful and the toast was loaded with avocado. I've been places where they toss on a couple of slices but not here. The food came out quickly and while we were eating one of the employees came by and offered us a baked pretzel. They had done an event the night before and had some leftover. Also yummy. The only reason I gave 4 stars and not 5 is because I was looking forward to the Oats and Stuff but it wasn't going to be ready until the next day. What needs improvement is their smoothies and matcha bar (if they still make it). Smoothie was bland and boring, no flavor and not even a hint of wow. Matcha bar topping was very good, but the actual matcha was overly powerful and not mixed well. I had a whole bite of just dried power that wasn't broken up. I get matcha is bitter, but this seems like a missed opportunity. I hope they revamp their smoothies, as they have a good thing going with their food overall. Stopped by for a late lunch after a walk around Purgatory Creek. I had the chicken pesto sandwich and husband had the Cubano. Both were great! All of their ingredients are hand selected by the owners and are locally grown or sustainably sourced. They have the best gluten free and vegan desserts i've ever had and have tons of options for GF/V people. There menu is ever-changing and it keeps getting better and better. Their chef has worked all over the world, including Dubai, Amsterdam, and New York, just to name a few. They also have a market and grab & go section so you can shop for goodies and snag a quick bite to eat. Brought my girlfriend here after a wonderful first experience I wanted to share it... when we arrived we weren't greeted and as they made the persons sandwich who was before us we watched the guy coughing into his hands and sweeping up the kitchen then resume making a sandwich without washing his hands or wearing gloves. The atmosphere made us uncomfortable and felt unwelcoming. I ended up with a group of 13 coworkers and was worried this cafe would have trouble accommodating us all, but they had no problem! There was plenty of seating for us all and they got our food out to everyone quickly! I have been going for coffee and breakfast every week or so here and the coffee is great. However, you can't talk because they play the music so loud. I asked on two occasions for them to turn it down and both times they did for about 10 minutes and then turned it back up again. I won't go there again. read more
