But wait, the plot thickens. Once I got home, I thought my key ring of all the other keys had pulled a disappearing act. Cue panic. I searched high, low, and everywhere in between (read: the depths of my car seats). Meanwhile, the entire Ace squad was on their walkie talkies, mobilizing like a key-finding SWAT team. Not once did anyone make me feel like a bother--no side-eye, no sighs, just pure helpfulness. Turns out, the keys were just playing hide-and-seek in the car. Crisis averted! The store itself? Clean, welcoming, and packed with EVERYTHING. Need a bird feeder? Check. How about a candle that smells like heaven? They've got it. Wind chimes to add a little ~zen~ to your backyard? You bet. And of course, all the hardware essentials--wrenches, hammers, nails...you name it, Ace has your back, honey! So, if you're ever in need of friendly folks, great service, and maybe a bag of popcorn to boot, Biedermann's Ace Hardware is the place to *key-p* coming back to! (see what I did there? lol)

Most stores in Fredericksburg are insanely overpriced but I bought a really soft & cute beanie here for $20. I was looking for a black one but ended up finding one out completely different that I love. When I went to check out at the register Alfred asked me if I found everything I was looking for. I mentioned I was looking for a black beanie & without me even asking, he darted from behind the register to go search for one for me. He brought me the only black beanie in the store but it didn't have a fuzzy ball on top, it had an eye . Not what I had in mind but I REALLY appreciated him voluntarily looking around for me. So kind! It is just rare that people go out of their way to help customers these days. He even offered to cut the tags off my new beanie for me. Thanks Alfred for being awesome! Service? What's that? My Bro and I stopped by this Walmart…read moreSupercenter to pick up some last minute items for the Labor Day weekend. The main reason was my Bro needed to get a new LP tank(not a refill but a new filled tank) So, first we go to Sporting Goods because I figured I could get my Hunting/Fishing License since we were there, only there are literally five employees behind the counter but they couldn't have been doing too much as i was told the Texas license system was down due to the Wi-Fi being down-not working?? After some wait, i finally got serviced. Then my Bro goes to the front counter with his items-and to order a LP tank, which I'm pretty sure it has to be done in person via a live cashier. There was only one register open so we wait in line but when we got to the cashier the dude says, "This lane is closed,,I'm taking a break." So, my bro asks what other lanes were open? To wit the cashier snuggly states, "None". We're like, why the heck would you take a break and not call someone to take over the register or open another lane?? Well, Bro is so PO'ed by this point he leaves his sht on the belt and says let's blow the joint! So, we leave and go to H-E-B. I doubt my bro will ever return to this Walmart again even if there's no other choice-not sure I will either. So, what has happened to customer service at Walmart?
