It's a fun trip down memory lane, though it doesn't fully capture the magic of the original stores from the 80s and 90s. The store is now franchised rather than corporately owned, which changes the feel a bit. Prices are on the higher side, and while there are some interesting and unique items, there weren't many Toys"R"Us exclusives beyond a Geoffrey the Giraffe pop. Still, the store is clean, organized, and has plenty to explore, whether you're a collector, a parent, or just a kid at heart. They have a decent selection, tho as with all of the stores it seems to be dwindling down to a few rows of shelves, when 10 years ago there were several shelves full of various yarns. Prices are good, especially when they are on sale, except today, the yarn she needed was $10 per skein! OUCH! 5-6 years ago it was $4 ish. The holiday stuff took up a LOT of space today, for the most part it was 2 sides of the store, part of the front and all of the right side. It's a pity that you rarely find these type of places... the type that seems as if making money is an afterthought because of the love of what they do. If you're into trains then this place is absolutely for you. They sell other types models of "traditional" models other than trains but they don't carry them in stock and require ordering.
