His really nice car was broken beyond repair, I thought, but we brought it to Wild Bill's to get the word of an expert. The two men at the RC desk very patiently helped my grandson test each system in turn and make most of the repairs himself with their help - replacing a broken gear, adding some missing screws (including a larger one where the threads were stripped), new batteries all around, and then a cool colorful body. It looks and works like it is new again! They showed incredible patience and kindness for the 20 minutes it took to finish the repairs, and I could not possibly be more impressed. Highly recommended!

The staff was very helpful when you could find them. Even they were helping customers that would be one thing; they were busy kibitzing among themselves or doing housecleaning stuff. It was very frustrating, especially when you needed them to unlock a cabinet to get something. They do have an incredible selection of model kits, RC, Lionel Trains, and hobby paint and supplies; just not trains... I did purchase some items and spent more than I should have; but it wasn't worth the drive.

Toys"R"Us - Standalone Store at Grapevine Mills Mall…read more November 9, 2025 (3/5) Toys"R"Us is back with a new standalone location at Grapevine Mills. It's a fun trip down memory lane, though it doesn't fully capture the magic of the original stores from the 80s and 90s. The store is now franchised rather than corporately owned, which changes the feel a bit. Prices are on the higher side, and while there are some interesting and unique items, there weren't many Toys"R"Us exclusives beyond a Geoffrey the Giraffe pop. Still, the store is clean, organized, and has plenty to explore, whether you're a collector, a parent, or just a kid at heart. A nostalgic stop, but not quite the full experience of the original Toys"R"Us. The guy at the front door was really nice.

We stopped during the Christmas rush, and it was still well maintained. Have to hand it to the staff for ding a good job and keeping the entire store presentable when the shopping public is in full Christmas buy-in mode and making a big mess. Hats off. We went to look for yard this day for a project my wife was doing for her friends. They have a decent selection, tho as with all of the stores it seems to be dwindling down to a few rows of shelves, when 10 years ago there were several shelves full of various yarns. Prices are good, especially when they are on sale, except today, the yarn she needed was $10 per skein! OUCH! 5-6 years ago it was $4 ish. The holiday stuff took up a LOT of space today, for the most part it was 2 sides of the store, part of the front and all of the right side. Now this location isn't really as big as others, so it's a lot of stuff packed into small spaces. Good deals not the Christmas stuff tho.

Then they lie about it all. So goodluck with that trash business. EDIT: The owner decided to send me an email with lies and deflections. Seriously AVOID this place like the plague
