It was still in the box with the factory seal and they wouldn't refund my money. They have a lot of cool stuff there but their customer service sucks and I won't be going back. It's a fun trip down memory lane, though it doesn't fully capture the magic of the original stores from the 80s and 90s. The store is now franchised rather than corporately owned, which changes the feel a bit. Prices are on the higher side, and while there are some interesting and unique items, there weren't many Toys"R"Us exclusives beyond a Geoffrey the Giraffe pop. Still, the store is clean, organized, and has plenty to explore, whether you're a collector, a parent, or just a kid at heart. A nostalgic stop, but not quite the full experience of the original Toys"R"Us. The guy at the front door was really nice.

We stopped during the Christmas rush, and it was still well maintained. Have to hand it to the staff for ding a good job and keeping the entire store presentable when the shopping public is in full Christmas buy-in mode and making a big mess. Hats off. We went to look for yard this day for a project my wife was doing for her friends. They have a decent selection, tho as with all of the stores it seems to be dwindling down to a few rows of shelves, when 10 years ago there were several shelves full of various yarns. Prices are good, especially when they are on sale, except today, the yarn she needed was $10 per skein! OUCH! 5-6 years ago it was $4 ish. The holiday stuff took up a LOT of space today, for the most part it was 2 sides of the store, part of the front and all of the right side. Now this location isn't really as big as others, so it's a lot of stuff packed into small spaces. Good deals not the Christmas stuff tho.

Well....she was fired for missing work... after they knew her car was stolen and loss prevention told us they were taking her off the schedule. If you don't want a headache, don't send your kid to work there. Also....they have only one bad camera at the front that did not show who came in and stole her belongings. ONE CAMERA ONLY!

The stories or reviews you might have read already about how great this place is an understatement…read more They aren't pushy for sales and in fact lean more towards being life long enthusiasts who want to share their knowledge and experience. It's a pity that you rarely find these type of places... the type that seems as if making money is an afterthought because of the love of what they do. If you're into trains then this place is absolutely for you. They sell other types models of "traditional" models other than trains but they don't carry them in stock and require ordering.

It also hosts tournaments and game demos, of which schedule can be found on the store website or social. The only minus point is there is no shipping if you're from out of town. But that what keeps this place a hidden gem of DFW.
