We took our cell phones in and signed up with Red Dot for service. It was very fast and easy. Later we tried to cancel with Red Dot and called Radio Active for account number and how to cancel. Radio Active was not very helpful with the cancellation and we ended up just getting a different number. Radio Active was quick to take our money to sign up but when there was nothing in it for them there would not really help. Poor customer service. read more

Have had several issues. And a lot of lies. Bought a Galaxy S4. It was not factory as we were told. It never worked. They supposedly downloaded a new operating system, but no luck. They refused to replace because they had none in stock. Called to ask if they had any in stock, were told yes. Then we were told we couldn't have any of those because our phone was sent to Samsung. We called Samsung and were told they did not have the Serial number on file. Where did this phone come from? Honor the purchase or refund our money. I would highly recommended NOT purchasing a phone from them. read more

I'm very upset with the service I received from Radioactive. I took in an iphone 5s that had a malfunction with the speaker. It wouldn't play ringtones or music without headphones. That was all. The only problem. I took it in on a Tuesday, I was told they had a part in house so it would be ready Friday. I didn't get a call on Friday so I called on Saturday and they told me they didn't have the part and the phone would be ready Monday. Monday came, I called and they said it hadn't been worked on yet but it would be done that day. Half and hour to close I went in and asked about the phone. After waiting 10 minutes an IT guy came from the back and told me the "phone fell apart once we opened it". A very frustrating conversation later, I walk away with a now broken phone that won't turn on at all. I went from and almost perfectly functioning phone to a dead one in the hands of Radioactive!! NOT HAPPY. At least they didn't make me pay a cent. However, they should be paying me for a new phone! I wouldn't be as upset if they had just taken time to be in contact with me instead of me having to go to them to find out what happened! I would give them 0 stars if I could. Called for a quote. They gave me a price and said it would be done in 3 days. Two weeks later I call for an update and they haven't even started it. Didn't bother to call us. Miraculously got it finished with in the next day but charged us $120 more than the quote. Sketchy business. read more

A total life saver! I urgently needed a power cord for my older laptop. When I called the owner new exactly the type I needed. They didn't have a new one but had a used one they used for diagnostics. Purchased 5 laptops from them....about a month before warranty was up...2 laptops had issues...contacted Mark and explained the situation that since these laptops where purchased thru RadioActive...Lenovo required me to go thru them for warranty fixes because per Lenovo..the warranty expired 4 months BEFORE we purchased them from RadioActive. However, after multiple calls to Mark and leaving messages for him to contact me back...no call back...contacted him 7 times and left 7 messages....got to here his voice once. Would have had way more respect for the man if he would have just contacted me back and stated he was not going to honor the warranty instead of ignoring the situation. Word of mouth goes a long way in this valley and working in the IT field..I will never recommend this company to anyone. read more

I took my laptop in because it had a corner of the case that popped up and could not be closed properly. Also the fan was making noises. The mean quoted me around $80.00 to have the case fixed and the fan changed. I had not heard back them in a day and a half so I called. They told me total repairs would be $350.00. The wanted to order a new case and change the fan. They had not called me. So I questioned the man on the phone and said the repairs had not been started. It costs me $37.00 to pick it up. The case is worse than it was when dropped it off. What was a small area that had buckled up was much larger. What angered me more was I felt like they were trying to sucker me in on the charges. read more

we bought a used lap top from them. after 3 trips back with it for problems with hard drive and software on this 1 year old Dell, one of the employees says after seeing me again for the 3rd time under his breath but staged for my ears, " thats why we dont sell used anymore".. my questions is why? because you cant fix them? your a computer shop. the condesending tude and looks you get when entering are that of someone trying to let you know your dumb...I took in word for word what pops up on our comp screen when it acts up and they said, we dont know what that means. I called another computer shop here and they knew excactly what it was and even went as far as to complete word for word what I wrote down reg. computer screen crash's and what the screen displayed.. stay away. read more

Poor customer service, unknowledgeable and downright rude. I was in to talk about phones and the sales clerk but he couldn't give me one iota of information about the phones or service that they offer. he just shrugged his shoulders and said "I don't know" so I looked to the other clerk to see if she had any information but she just literally turned her back to me and continued her personal conversation, over her left shoulder with a woman who was waiting for her phone to be programmed in the back room. Folks I know who bought computers there have nothing but trouble with them. Find a better source for real computers elsewhere. read more

I went to Radioactive to get my BROKEN laptop information put onto a flash drive the gentleman stated that the laptop was not broken that he thought it could be fixed for around forty dollars, NO the laptop is exactly as I dropped it off and they charged me $80.00, I would not recomment going to this business. read more

I took my laptop into them for a electrical outlet problem. I had it in there the month before and a part needed to be ordered. They temporarily fixed it so I could use it till the part came in. So when I went back in to get the part they said that they had no record of me coming in and of course the part was not ordered. Then they kept my laptop, they said they would look at it. Mean time I purchased a desk top from them. When I got my programs on the computer the down load would not go on. It took two trips back to them to get it right. Then they gave me my lap top back saying they fixed it. But when I got hope only scribbly stuff came up. So back again. Then they told me my had drive died and that I dropped my computer and that was what cause it. NOT TRUE, I did not drop my computer. When I tried to explain to the owner he could not have care less. POOR SERVICE ALL AROUND.... WHEN TALKING TO OTHERS NOW ABOUT THE SITUATION, THEY SAY THEY WOULD NEVER GO THERE EITHER. THAT THEY TOO HAD A BAD EXPERIENCE.
