Took in my iPhone 14 Pro to have one of the camera lenses replaced due to it shattering. I mentioned it to the kid and he said something about it being glue that needed to set, which was clearly not the case. Camera was also foggy and not working as it did prior. The next morning more loose glass floated in behind the replacement lens. They did issue a refund since I didn't want them working on my phone again. So, I do appreciate the refund but for phone repairs, I would look elsewhere.

Person #2 said it wasn't there, had no way of tracking it, or finding out. Person 3 on a Monday said it would arrive in another week (2 weeks since I ordered) because they don't even order from their freight until Sundays. He also said that Person #2 had told me that. Person #1 also said he wanted me to give him permission to access my camera and files to make sure everything was working, once the new battery would be installed. What on earth would they need access to my private stuff for? I called a phone repair place, same day and lower cost than battery plus. Battery plus cannot refund me either unless I am in person? We attempted to follow Apple's instructions for clearing data but seemed to have made an error somewhere. My "new" iMac wouldn't work! After spending hours trying to triage the situation myself (searching the internet and speaking with AppleSupport on the phone), I made an appointment with Allied Computing for the following day. At my appointment, I gave a brief description of my computer's issue. The technician seemed incredibly confident and competent and put my worries at ease. I left feeling hopeful that my tech trauma would soon end. The following day I received a call from Allied Computing informing me that my computer had gone through extra diagnostics tests, and was working well! They fixed the bugs in the hard drive, downloaded the latest Operating System AND set up a user account on my behalf. I'm extremely pleased with the service as they truly are professionals. While I truly hope I don't have any future tech issues, I feel much more secure knowing I can reach out to AC next time!
