This is the solution if you're looking to add lean muscle mass, enjoy getting to know other gym members and like the daily involvement of a knowledgeable, fun, and dedicated owner. And for women who are intimidated by lifting and strength training, this is your breakthrough solution because many of the women members are seasoned competitive lifters of all ages. To be clear, you're not going to find a room full of cardio machines or a schedule of yoga classes. Roswell Barbell is focused on building strength and has all the equipment you need to accomplish this goal. Despite its small size, there's plenty of equipment to use. I've been going for six months, starting as a white collar novice lifter who had never used a barbell in his life and didn't understand how chalk was used. The team here has supported my training, taught me the skills, and made it fun, healthy, and respectful. Now, I spend 3-4 days a week lifting heavy things, challenging my body to get stronger, and learning from some of the best athletes. I leave chalky and exhausted, and motivated to come back again. Strength training is one component of health and gyms like Roswell Barbell are exactly what people need, not the terrible big box gyms full of corporate salespeople and terribly unhealthy messaging.

I can't say enough great things about Orangetheory Fitness in Roswell! This studio has become such…read morean important part of my routine and honestly one of the best fitness communities I've ever been part of. The coaching staff is outstanding. Head Coach Ashley brings incredible energy, motivation, and expertise to every class, and coaches like Darcy make workouts both challenging and fun. They genuinely care about members, push everyone to improve safely, and create an environment where people at every fitness level feel welcome and encouraged. The ownership and studio team also deserve major credit. The Roswell franchise is exceptionally well run -- the studio is always clean, organized, upbeat, and full of positive energy. You can tell they truly invest in both the member experience and the community atmosphere. What makes OTF Roswell stand out is the combination of science-backed workouts and an amazing community feel. Orangetheory's format blends treadmill intervals, rowing, and strength training with heart-rate-based coaching that keeps every workout engaging and effective. The classes are designed around endurance, strength, and power training, and the real-time heart rate tracking keeps you motivated throughout the workout. (orangetheory.com) I've also loved the newer additions like the early entry option and the HYROX-focused classes. The HYROX programming is such a great evolution of the OTF model -- combining endurance, rowing, running under fatigue, and functional strength work in a way that feels incredibly athletic and performance-driven. (PR Newswire) Most importantly, this studio truly feels like a community. Members encourage each other, coaches know people by name, and there's a welcoming vibe from the moment you walk in. Whether you're brand new to fitness or have been training for years, OTF Roswell makes you want to keep showing up. Highly recommend this studio to anyone in the Roswell area looking for challenging workouts, amazing coaching, and a supportive fitness family!

We discussed freezing the membership, and I later asked that it be canceled once the 6 months were complete. Despite this, I was billed beyond the 6-month term and told that my cancellation was not valid because it wasn't submitted in writing, even though they had notes from our conversation and I had not attended classes for months due to injury. I understand policies, but I wish this had been clearly communicated at the time and that the circumstances had been taken into account. It felt like payment mattered more than a member's injury or good-faith communication.

Terri and Carla are always at the front to greet people as they enter the studio. They are both so friendly and welcoming! After just one visit I was greeted by name every time after that! They have about 10 different teachers although I have not had a chance to take classes with all of them. But two of my favorites are Betsy and BeAnne. They have two completely different styles of teaching but both are fun and challenging! The studio is very clean and has natural light from the many windows. The best part is that they have mats, blankets, bolsters, blocks, everything you need for class all to use free of charge! My only complaint is that they don't have a place to refill water bottles. Yes, they have the bathroom sink and they sell dasani water but I would really like a water fountain or any filtered water area outside of the bathroom. In the large scheme of things this isn't a make it or break it thing buuuuut I figured I would mention it :) Overall this is a great studio and I've already bought a class package as I will be a frequent customer!

I was introduced to Svaroopa yoga here and definitely became a fan. I have also taken Hatha with Kim and she is a great teacher as well. They are welcoming to people of all levels and abilities so don't feel intimidated if it is your first time taking yoga. I've taken class with men & women in their 60's to high school boys who were taking Hatha as an addition to the training regimen. Plus, if you are in the Roswell/Alpharetta area the location is great - downtown Roswell with plenty of parking.

Most of us know how expensive they can be but I have to say I am sooooo glad I met Abby! She is soo affordable and an amazing trainer. Shes young, shes has a degree in what she does and the best part is she comes to your home gym and works with you around your schedule. Every work out with Abby seems soo different, she will never repeat the same workout with you and every week she focuses on something different. The first time I called Abby up, I was hesistant, and her first session is free, where she does a work out with you to see where you stand, she talks to you about your goals and what you are trying to achieve and once you sign up with her, she actually takes your measurements and body fat and then keeps a record to see how much progress you have made over a certain period of time... She even sat me down and spoke to me about my nutrition and my eating habits, shes not just a personal trainer, but shes is someone who really does care about her clients :) I know I am on the right part especially now that I work out every day on my own as well as work out with Abby once a week and it does not feel like a chore but just part of my daily routine :D
