Gutter cleaning that required a return visit within weeks -- and now the company won't even inspect…read morethe issue. I hired Men In Kilts to clean my gutters on April 30, 2025. Within a few weeks the front gutter was already overflowing, so I contacted them and they sent a technician back. During that return visit, the technician had to manually dig out a significant amount of debris, including asphalt shingle granules that were completely clogging the downspout, and mentioned that the gutter looked like it had not been fully cleaned during the initial service. Recently, several gutters started overflowing again during rain. When I reached out to the company, the initial response pointed to a tall tree seen in Google images as the likely cause. However, that tree had actually been removed in December 2023, well before the gutter service was performed. After I clarified that, the explanation shifted to "foreign objects" such as toys, rocks, and cans that had been removed previously. But if those items were already removed during the earlier service and return visit, they wouldn't explain the current overflow. Despite the original cleaning already requiring a follow-up visit shortly after it was done, the company declined to come out and inspect the gutters again. I was simply asking for someone to take a look before assuming a full new service was required, or at least discuss options. Based on this experience, I would recommend making sure every section of your gutters is actually cleaned and properly documented.

Jim and Spencer were quick to respond, showed up promptly as scheduled with a smile on their faces and finished the work thoroughly. Unfortunately, it turned out we did not have enough gutter guards to finish all the gutters on the house. It was our fault -- but, without missing a beat, they offered to come back and install the rest as soon as we had it. We would hire them again in a heartbeat for any future outdoor cleaning jobs!

What is it like to come home from work on a day that Jen has cleaned? When you open the door, the first thing you notice is the smell of clean. Not overpowering or perfumey, just clean.
