However, she made me feel comfortable and didn't embarrass me. I got a deep clean which cost me $150 (I think, def more than $125), and then a regular clean which costs $60. Cleanings are not covered by medicaid but cavities are. I will be returning here for my next cleaning.

It's safe to say that while most people don't enjoy going to the dentist, some may hate them more than others (although 'hate' is such a strong word I'd reserve for Yankees fans, the cheatin' Astros and people who don't use their turn signal). My wife signed up our family with Solace Dental in 2020 and it's been great ever since. You wouldn't think much of them based on their location near a Dollar Tree in the northwest corner of Boughton & Weber Rd, but Solace is pristine on the inside. The waiting room is clean, tastefully decorated for the season, and every patient room has a TV. Most of their equipment is state-of-the-art. Dr. Zaidi is simply awesome, although his brother doesn't have quite the same rapport or gentle touch. All of the dental assistants and front desk staff are SUPER friendly, possibly the nicest people I've ever encountered outside of Chik-fil-A. They're a good-looking bunch, too, though that's neither here nor there. On a prior visit they were running behind which made for a much longer wait than usual, but that was an isolated incident and recently I was in & out quickly. They accept most insurance plans and copay amounts are generally reasonable. I can't think of a negative thing to say about them. * TL;DR * Do you swear to pull the tooth, the whole tooth, and nothing but the tooth, so help you god? Whether you're scheduling a routine cleaning or a more involved procedure (queue the whirring dentist drill), Dr Zaidi and his team are dedicated to a positive patient experience. They use cutting-edge technology and are consummate professionals through & through. Scheduling and communication is always on-point. If you're thinking about switching dental providers, do it. Despite confirming coverage and accurate information with both of our insurance providers, the office has continued to submit claims incorrectly. When we've tried to bring this to their attention, instead of resolving the matter calmly, we've received harassing and aggressive phone calls--sometimes while caring for our 2.5-month-old baby at home. Most concerning is the unwillingness of the staff to allow communication with a manager or the dentist when we requested help. Threatening to send a patient to collections while refusing to acknowledge or correct their own billing errors is unacceptable. I had mentioned to her I was waiting for my sleep test results. She charged me $975 for a TMJ splint. While is was being made I called back the office to advise I have severe sleep apnea. She told me to wear the splint and called in muscle relaxers as well. I wore it for 1 month and was in so much pain I had to go to the ER. I called the office and she said I could then get her $3K Panthera oral appliance to wear since my sleep apnea was making the TMJ worse. Keep in mind she doesn't accept insurance for the sleep appliance. I decided to go to another specialist because spending an additional 3K was ridiculous. I went with the other specialist and they advised me that I was in stage 5 of severe TMJ and that I also had a tear on each disc in my jaw. I was told the appliance she made as well as the mandibular device would make everything ten times worse. The panoramic she took didn't show any of this. I called back to get a refund and she wouldn't return my calls or even return my text messages. Very unprofessional and its all about the money with her!! I had another dental office who I had seen prior to her and they refunded me my $$ when their particular splint didn't work as well.
