I went in for an initial consultation and made an appointment for the extractions, but one tooth became infected a week before my procedure. I called the hotline on a Sunday evening and was able to talk to Dr. Johnson over the phone and he scheduled me for an emergency appointment the following morning for that one tooth! After getting all of them removed, I had to go to NYC for work the following week with unbearable pain (I'm not sure why I did that, oops). I called the office from NYC and they were SO kind enough to give me information about seeing an oral surgeon there and even talked to them over the phone to explain my situation! If I somehow find additional wisdom teeth in my mouth, I'll definitely go back! (but hopefully not lol)

Dr. Hur took the time to answer all of my questions thoroughly, and the best part was that he explained I didn't need jaw surgery at all--he could correct everything with implants. That alone was a huge relief. Dr. Hur and his entire staff walked me through every step of the process. On the day of surgery, they once again made sure I knew exactly what to expect and kept me at ease. After the procedure, Dr. Hur personally went out to the waiting room, sat down with my wife, and explained everything in detail. He never rushed and truly took his time, which meant a lot to us. The next day, he even reached out to check on how I was doing. His bedside manner is phenomenal. He gave me his personal cell phone number and told me not to hesitate to reach out with any questions. About a week later, the antibiotics started to get to me, which I expected. I sent him a text during normal business hours thinking I'd hear back later--but he called me almost immediately. That level of responsiveness is rare and honestly blew me away. I've been back a few times for follow-ups, and every visit has been the same--professional, friendly, and thorough. The same thing has happened to me before, and my wife has also experienced similar last-minute changes with this office. I completely understand that occasionally an unexpected situation can force a dental office to reschedule an appointment. However, when it happens repeatedly, it becomes a pattern and reflects poor planning and appointment management. Patients organize their work schedules, family responsibilities, and other commitments around medical and dental appointments. Canceling or postponing appointments at the last minute--particularly when it happens repeatedly--shows very little consideration for the patient's time. I am posting this review because prospective patients should be aware of our experience before scheduling here. The issue is not the dental treatment itself; my complaint is specifically about the reliability of their scheduling and planning. If you need a dental office where you can reasonably rely on an appointment taking place on the date and time scheduled, I would strongly suggest asking this office about its cancellation and rescheduling practices before making an appointment.

I have been extremely happy with the work done by Dr. Foxson and the service provided by his staff. The procedure starts with a consultation. After examining the x-rays and my teeth, he discussed a plan of action. Everything was clearly explained. I then talked with the office manager who discussed what the cost would be, what my insurance was likely to cover, and how much I would be responsible for. After agreeing to the costs, we scheduled appointments. Both extractions were from my lower jaw and I had them done under local anesthetic with nitrous oxide. The procedures went well with only minimal discomfort. The pain afterward minimal and gone after only a couple of days. The evening after the procedure, Dr. Foxson personally called me to see how I was doing. I appreciated that. Not many medical professionals provide that level of follow up. I also had the post implanted under local anesthetic with nitrous oxide. I experienced no pain and only minimal discomfort during the procedure (owing mainly to all the apparatus in my mouth). Afterward, I had absolutely no pain and just some gum tenderness which abated after a couple of days. Again, Dr. Foxson called me that evening to see how doing (just fine). All in all, I am very happy with the procedures carried out by Dr. Foxson and the caring and professionalism of his staff. I give Naperville Oral Surgery my highest recommendation. One thing to note: Naperville Oral Surgery requires payment of your expected out-of-pocket expenses at the time of your appointments. However, my experience with that surgeon was nothing short of terrible! At that time, the surgeon dubbed my 4th wisdom tooth "unremovable", and said it would need to be re-evaluated later to see if it could be removed. Of course, my experience with the other 3 removals was so terrible that I decided just to keep the 4th tooth, rather than go through such an awful thing again. Fast forward to a few months ago when ongoing infections make it obvious that that tooth has GOT to go. Of course, I was terrified because of what my previous oral surgeon told me. My dentist referred me to Dr. Dave, and when he told me that it would be no problem to remove that tooth, I was HIGHLY skeptical and a bit suspicious. He was totally right though! He was able to remove this "problem" wisdom tooth quickly and easily with no problems. I barely even had any pain afterward and the tooth healed quickly and without issue. What's more, Dr. Dave even called me the following day (a Saturday) just to make sure I was doing ok, something my previous surgeon never did. My only regret is that I did not go to Dr. Dave three years ago to have my initial wisdom tooth surgery. It would likely have saved me a lot of problems (and $). If you've been putting off oral surgery for any reason, don't hesitate to book it with Dr. Dave. He's great!

Yes I know they do some very heavy work there but remember you are in the best hands. My M.D., doctor needed and implant and he had it done there about 25 yrs. ago and it's still in his mouth!
