Where have this restaurant been all my life. Well pretty much under my nose because I've been…read moreliving in this neighborhood for about 15 years and I didn't discover them until recently. Was starving late one night when I was coming home from work and decided to give them a try and my gosh, is this place GOOD! Came in for their chicken samosa ($1) and not only did it hit the spot but it also was very satisfying. The flavor was just right and it seems like they made everything from scratch including fresh herbs to bring out the right taste. I came back the next day for a proper meal and brought two more chicken samosa, pakora (2 for $1) and their chicken ross (I think that's how you spell it for $3 including an egg) and it was delicious. As for dining in, they only have two tables and eight seats total and they opened early (6am) and close late (11pm). I'm so glad I walked in and my only regret is wishing I would have step food in 15 years ago.

The service was great. The sweets were disappointing. We tried rasmalai and chomchom, both were…read morestale and were hard in the middle. The liquid in the rasmalai was just heated up milk, extremely runny. The fresh roshogollah smelled really good but we were full by that time Giving 3 stars only for the service as the gentleman at the counter was very helpful and friendly. The sweets we tried would be no more than one star

Radhuni is a neighborhood staple serving Bangladeshi food to the diaspora for over a decade now. In…read moremy household, they are highly frequented due to "homecooked" nature of their dishes. They have staple every day dishes, and also offer rotating ones that add to their variety. We like the homecooked feel of their food. On busy days where we can't make time to cook, they come in clutch. Some special food recommendations: Lollipop chicken- a fried drumstick or wing, made to resemble a lollipop. It's coated in seasonings, and served with their version of boom boom sauce. Crowd favorite. Chicken biryani- flavored rice with chicken. Can eat this by itself. Beef teheri- flavored rice with beef. Chicken Roast- not roast chicken lol. In our cuisine, this is a smothered chicken in a creamy, oniony based sauce with spices. Not to be missed. Reshmi kebab- Chicken pieces, marinated in spices and smoked to perfection. Try this! it's a different take from the tandoori style you're always getting ;) I'd recommend fish curries with rice, as that's our specialty. However, they are bone in, and so it may not be everyone's cup of tea. Get the shrimp curry if it's available. The other items, such as beef curries, mixed vegetables, daal (lentils) are pretty standard. For a quick but delicious snack, get a vegetable or chicken samosa with chai. Can't be beat! They have other appetizer foods too- chicken rolls, and pakoras. Spice level tends to be medium. I've not found them to be very spicy hot, which works out for those of us who can't handle that. We always get take out from them. They package the food well (enough) so the oil does not leak. There is always a lot of oil on the top of the foods, but this is the case at every bengali/indian/pakistani restaurant anyways. We just dump it out when we get home. There are tables and indoor seating. However, we opt to bring it home. I do wish the ambiance was nicer to sit and eat, but it's not a big deal. During Ramadan and other holidays, they have specialty items which is another time to try them out.

Check out the negative reviews below where the restaurant's management defensively responds to…read morereviews they don't like. It's a hoot! Also, side note: if you are not providing cloth napkins you are not a fine dining establishment. Note to Management: TAKE THE L and learn from the feedback, how about that? If I could give no stars, I would. This review will echo what many low ratings have already pointed out. It ultimately doesn't matter that the place has a kind of cool/retro vibe/design. This is a restaurant that has ZERO concept of hospitality. Like absolutely zero. It's like, if you want to be treated like crap as a paying guest, this is the place to go. 4 members of our party of 7 arrived 10 minutes early. They were permitted to sit at the bar (the bar is for reservation holders ONLY). 5 minutes later, members 5 and 6 arrived. They would not seat us at our table until the 7th member of the party arrived. Patently absurd. Our server, Michael, was nice enough, explaining to us how to order family style from the menu. Personally I found it a bit patronizing but that's probably just me. Drinks service was noticeably slow (this is important to note for later in this review). The food was fine/delicious - only the Char Siu pork, garlic eggplant and Beef Chow Fun were decent portions for family style dining - and the Char Siu was room temp. Here's where things got wild (especially in light of the slow drinks service) - WHILE WE WERE STILL EATING OUR FOOD our server Michael sidles up to the table - I'm on the end, and he's standing next to me. He announces that our reservation only has 15 minutes left in it - they expect us to finish eating and drinking within the next 15 minutes!?!?!? He follows this up with an offer to wrap up our food to go. ... I'm the only person who actually hears him say all this in the noisy restaurant so it falls on me to communicate to my table mates what our server just said. ... So, 15 minutes later he shows up to take our money - he'll only split the bill into two even though we're 3 couples and one singleton. They AUTOMATICALLY tack on a 20% tip and yet the machine offers you the opportunity to tip even more. The food was nothing to write home about and no one needs the militant attitude when spending hundreds of dollars dining out with friends. I humbly suggest you GO ANY PLACE ELSE for your fine dining experience - this place does not deserve to stay in business another day longer. Oh - and as others have noted- THERE ARE NO DESSERTS HERE. Don't come here for a birthday or any kind of celebration where you'd usually have a dessert.
