I have a subscription to the ultimate car wash. But I'm not really sure if I'm getting that or just a regular car wash at OTW. I called their phone number multiple times and was connected to an AI bot who said someone will contact me. I called three times still haven't heard from the someone. I think their customer service went down a black hole which really is more irritating than the fact that I may have gotten the cheap version of their wash instead of their ultimate version. Went thru the RaceWash on SR 200 in Ocala near SkyZone. Told they were running a special on fast-pass membership for $20 unlimited washes. What they didn't tell me was that after 30 days, your membership automatically renews for $40 a month! I don't like underhanded techniques like this. The carwash itself does a great job, so that is why I give a good review; however, I don't appreciate bait and switch methods management chooses not to disclose with this program. read more

Today no wait for a wash. The employees did a great job wiping down the outside and cleaning up the tires as well as vacuuming and wiping down the inside. Its a little pricey. I have a suggestion, to boost the spirits of the employees, consider a bell by the tip box so when inserting a tip have customer ring the bell. When the employees hear the bell ring they know they are not only getting a tip but they are doing a good job. The summerfield car wash on 441 does this and the employees seem upbeat and happy. They all yell thank you when the bell rings. They also have music playing too which can be very motivational. read more

This is by far one of the best car washes in town, and so reasonable! The business is always so brisk but on Wednesdays it's booming as the car washes are only $3. You can't beat that! As always in Florida it can rain in a second without there being a cloud in the sky. Should that happen after your cash wash you can bring your receipt back in 48 hours or a free car wash. What an incredible warranty!! Then there' their free vacuums which are self serve and free with any car wash. They have the most suctionability (?) that will suck anything up in it's way in a heartbeat. It would be best to well clean your car out in advance. Though it's mostly drive thru they offer a variety of options including hand waxing, interior cleaning & detailing. If you plan on coming often a monthly pass is the way to go! read more

I paid almost $30 today for this car wash. Bird poop and bug guts on the mirror, grill, window and body of my car. Are they blind? There is no excuse for this much filth left on a vehicle. Racewash is the best car wash in Ocala. I always look forward to getting my car washed here! I'm hesitant to promote their $30 per month unlimited super car wash membership because I enjoy using the fast pass lane and cutting through the lines when the car wash gets busy. A+ service; props to all the young kids working hard. I love the fun colorful soapies and powerful washing mechanisms that makes my car come out looking new and shiny. As a previous Racewash Fast Pass subscriber, I was thoroughly disappointed today when driving in. I have a newer truck, and go there often. I keep my truck in very nice shape, and paying for a car wash to get the job done is not out of the question. I paid $18 for the Ultimate service (exterior only), but that is supposed to be their top of the line. After exiting the car wash, I pulled around to the hand bays, and asked to be properly dried off, because larger vehicles don't get dried in the automatic wash properly. A young man helped me out, and started drying off the truck. I also got out walked around and then helped dry some other areas, noting that the passenger side was still dirty and had bird poop on the window. I also noticed, as usual, that the automatic carwash did not clean my wheels, nor does the automatic apply tire shine properly. Upon moving around to the front, I asked the young man about what to do to get these bugs off of my paint, front bumper and such, since the automatic didn't take them off and the guys who pre-treat before I rolled through, didn't really pretreat the bugs. He worked on some of the bumper and once he felt he was done, I asked again what to do about all of the bugs on the paint. He told me he would ask his manager. Upon returning, he said, "my manager said that it's kinda pricy, but you could get it repainted". WHAT? The lazy manager said that the bugs obviously ruined my paint and that I should get it repainted? He never even came out to talk to me. They just lost a customer. read more

I knew it as soon as this place got busy they would do a terrible job... busy Sunday. My rims are still dirty, and the pollen marks are still there? I wanted to get a wash and wax it at home now I'm going to have to wash it myself anyway..I drove 23 miles for this? Looking around this parking lot everybody's rims are dirty. Love this car wash but what I don't love is that when people pull up to the 'free' vacuum areas and take 2 vacuums to clean the inside of one car.. They come in with 2 people to a car and one person takes a vacuum and does the inside of one side of the car and the other person takes a vacuum meant for another car and does the inside of the other side of the car and that's called greedy and with no respect for others.. Common sense the vacuum for your car is always on the driver's side, the other vacuum is for the car next to you.. Don't be greedy and be polite to others; just because the vacuums are free doesn't mean you can hog 2 for one car.. read more

This place is a cluster. (Hwy 200 location) The pay machines are constantly broken down. Wait is over half an hour because machines don't work and you can't back out. They should have staff at the pay machines to make sure they work and help the old people that can't figure out how to use them. And then they only get the love bugs off of your windshield. I buy the $18 wash every week and the $5 in between and there's still bugs all over my grill. This place sucks. read more

My car is a 5 speed. You would have thought I asked them to fly a harrier jet. I've been here since 1:45. I've watched every car in the other lanes go by. I came to the full service area and have been waiting in line. The Inspector is taking his time with just my lane. The other lanes are going by without him. He is holding up my line. I came in 5th car to wait in the line next to the building in the full service area. Cars and trucks that came way after me have left.  There is no one wearing any type of supervisor or manager identification. I hardly write complaints about a business. If you decide to have your car washed here and full service after go to the middle lane or the lane next to that. I mean really. About 15 cars have been serviced and my car just moved up one car length. There are 4 people ahead of me and they're very unhappy too. Where is the manager or supervisor? Do they wear a different shirt? A name badge? No one wants to be responsible. The person with the inspector shirt on was the only one that looked different from everyone else. I recommend to go for the car wash but don't go for full service. If anything just for the lack of supervision. Its 2:45 now. My car is now two cars away. The other lines are emptying out. Maybe the supervisors could wear a shirt that distinguishes them from everyone else. It's easy to hide. Remember, avoid the lane closest to the building or all together. Great car wash   really bad customer service. I'd love to ask the supervisor for an explanation but who is that? Maybe wear a different color shirt. Or not be paid to be a supervisor when you hide among the workers. I'd love to meet the manager so I can explain myself better if anything is unclear.  I will happily eat my words for a really good and true explanation. I'll even change my post. My first question is how can the average person tell who is in charge. My car is one car away now and the inspector disappeared. Coincidence? Likely but it makes you go hmmmmmm. It is and hour and 15 minutes later and my car should be done in a few. Its 3:10 and I have to say that the car does look great. read more

I am back in here again today and this place is only getting worse by the minute. Employees are great but the machines and the car wash itself is total poop. Lots of times the machines can't even read the SKU on your windshield so you are stuck waiting 10 minutes for an employee to come out and buzz you through. They seriously need to do something about this place as once you get in line and you are behind 50 cars there is no way out. You will be stuck in line for 30 minutes with no way out. I attempted to get a carwash at the one on 24th Street. I was having trouble at the kiosk and saw that I am supposed to "honk" for assistance. I honked and got no assistance. I had no choice but to pay for what I did not want and to move forward. I motioned for the first employee I saw and he told me to wait. He then motioned me to move forward. I refused. Rolling his eyes he finally ran over to me and I explained my problem but since he was so rude I no longer wanted to give my money to them so I asked for a full refund and left. read more

As regular Soapy's customer we thought we would try this new car wash. We came in in our Honda Element and decided to go for the top of the line car wash the ultimate for $18. We went right through and it was really neat with the LED lights and all the colored soaps it was really kind of psychedelic however when we got to the very end for the buff and Shine the top will work but the two side Wheels did not work. I went around and went into the office and told the guy who went and got someone in a black jacket who I guess it was in charge he came out and looked at my car he offered to let me go through again but I thought that didn't make any sense because the machine is broken so I went around the corner and watch 3 other cars come out and none of them received the side buffer on the way home my $18 Car Wash has left the side windows dirty and it really didn't do that good of a job I'm going back to Soapy's read more

They have an employee that smells like death. Unfortunately I have encountered him both times I have been there. Today he got in my car to move it. 30 minutes later with the windows down and doors open, I can't get his stink out of my car. The car is clean but now I feel like I have to go disinfect it.
