I tried to use a Venmo app that I had on my phone to no avail. His associate working almost downloaded the app onto his personal phone to help out. Stopped here for gas after getting breakfast nearby. Nothing spectacular but the gas station was new. Eight sections so sixteen pumps. They were wise enough for smaller cars or huge trucks with a trailer in tow. Appreciated but I think a lot of people around here drive larger vehicles so maybe it's just a standard out of necessity? Easy on and off access to the freeway and the fuel prices were comparable to all nearby stations. Inside was clean and well stocked. Usual snacks and road trip food you love but know it's not the best for your "new year, new you" mantra. The trash cans by the gas pumps were empty. Clean and convenient location right before getting on I-275. Easy entry and exit. They have plenty of pumps available as well as an area where you can fill your tires with air and vacuum their vehicles. Typically good prices as well. read more

This gas station is closed more than open!! I go to work early and Used to stop there everyday now it's a crap shoot if they are going to be open or not! Either they say they have no change?(it's ok I have a cc) or they say there are not enough ppl there?? How many ppl do you need more than 2? I wonder if management knows they just close the store whenever they want? I suggest going a few miles down the road to the Wawa which is always open. SMH read more

Brand new Racetrack with quite a bit of aisles for filling up gas. It has a nice modern design. There are even 3 tables outside with umbrellas. These are here in case you want to eat your frozen yogurt. They have a nice selection along with toppings. This is a nice clean open store. It was built about a year or two. You can stop in here and count on clean bathrooms as well. read more

Clean neat Racetrac out in lutz. A great place to stop for gas before you get to the interstate, and have to pay premium for fuel. The pumps are brightly light at night, inside the store, the layout is functional and well done. Great store clean and the reason I'm writing this is to say they had a very special employee and today I am so glad I stopped in but sad to hear it was her last day.Sam was always a bright smiling happy face and she always was someone I looked forward to seeing sadly they wouldn't give her enough hours and she had to give notice.I will miss seeing her and I hope management reads this they hired so many people and all aren't the same or as good they really need to reward the good workers and give them the hours and the pay they deserve.As a manager myself I can say sometimes 1 good worker is worth 5 marginal ones and it should be a priority to keep the good ones happy.I will miss my friend and her great service and smiling face.I would have given 5 stars if racetrack learned good workers are hard to find and they kept the good and got rid of the mediocre that are just there doing the minimal to get a check read more

RaceTrac calls this sort of flagship store "RT6K" because it's approximately 6,000 square feet in size. This is the only RT6K in the USF area, which is a pity because it's at the very north end of Livingston. Still, if you're in the mood for a scenic drive, head up from Bearss just off Bruce B Downs and follow it all the way up to SR54. And why bother? It's a pilgrimage. You guys, they have SO MANY CHOICES. There's a half-dozen kinds of iced tea, a dozen kinds of slushy frozen drinks (like a granita) and a variety of foamier frozen drinks (like a Slurpee) and a plethora of fountain drinks, and that's just the drinks. So we've had self serve gas stations for years. But usually self serve applies to the gas. This Racetrac takes self serve to a whole new level with its self serve frozen yogurt bar. Yeah, that's right, I go to a gas station for vegan frozen yogurt. Who would've thought? The self serve frozen yogurt bar has a large variety of toppings. You name it, they probably have it. From fresh fruits to frozen fruits to candies to cookies to pie crusts. They have a number of different flavors to choose from including a dairy free option (not sure if they have this all the time or only on select days) as well as some other choices that meet different dietary needs. Cheapest gas around since they just opened. $3.99 for Premium/$3.69 Regular on 2/25/13. This place is very swanky and large for a convenience store/gas station. I guess they felt the need to one up all of their competition in the area. They chose a very modern and visually appealing design for the store, which is huge by convenience store standards. I happened to stop by as my cheapgas app pointed me to this location for the cheapest premium grade fuel in the area. I'm not going to lie, since it has recently opened and is promoting itself on the cheap gas, there were massive lines at 530pm. I had to wait for a couple of cars to clear before I could pull up to fill my tank. If they keep up their competitive prices for fuel they will no likely be successful in this very convenient location they have selected. read more

So, I recently discovered this phenomenon that is the upgraded RaceTrac on a visit to my hometown, and reviewed it as so, in length, with pictures. Well, I was driving by a place I often frequent and low and behold...here lays another super RaceTrac! So we made a U-turn, parked, and walked in the side entrance. Voila! It was all I had promised my man the other one had been. The full yogurt bar with toppings, the coffee and danish station resembling a Dunkin' Donuts, the empanadas and sausages cooking away, the beer cooler, the wifi bar, the row of slushies, etc. This place has everything! I couldn't get over how this place was set up EXACTLY as the other one, which is 180 miles away. But this new style of RaceTrac is quite sweet, and I hope they replace all the old ones with this. It completely blows away its competitors. And yeah, they have cheap gasoline, as well, but this is all about the inside. Do yourself a favor and go inside. I dare you to walk out without being tempted to buy something. Us? Well, we shared a yogurt (cookies & cream mixed with peanut butter, yum) and topped it with chocolate graham cracker crust pieces, peanut butter chips, white chocolate chips, hot fudge, and all kinds of other things. Finally, a Gas Station that you don't have to feel icky about going in! Clean and great customer service. Awesome variety of beer in their walk in fridge (which is also great to go into on a hot, yucky day). Flavors beyond flavors of frozen yogurt with tons of topping to choose from. They also have fresh pre-made deli and sub sandwiches. Plenty of gas pumps which is nice to have when it is busy, which is all the time. Cheap gas as well, it is always the cheapest in the area. I get off work late everyday and try to just stop by and grab a bite to eat and every single time it's closed due to "covid" the workers don't even wear there mask right...... there's no one even cleaning the store when the sign says that. If anything the store is dirtier and dirtier everytime i'm in it. Ever since they got new management it's been a horribly ran location. read more

I forgot about Racetrac when WaWa came into town, but this Racetrac beats every brand new WaWa that has popped up. There is a froyo station with choose your own toppings, a milkshake/smoothie machine, an absurd amount of drink choices whether you're looking for alcohol or not, and an indoor seating area. I couldn't believe this was a gas station. I wish I had a reason to pass it more often! Associate named John was really helpful. Most importantly, I didn't mind taking a piss here. This this facility is super clean and they offer all kinds of different pastries in the morning. They have frozen yogurt bar, sandwiches, several varieties of coffee, pizza, beer, etc. Highly recommend this race trac if you're in the Land O Lakes area. read more

They normally have the lowest price in the area but I stopped going because they didn't accept my Amex card and I like the points! So odd that for the best frozen yogurt in town we head to the gas station! The kids love all the flavors available and there are so many toppings. My kids love being able to choose their own flavor yogurt and then they are each allowed one scoop of a "treat topping" and as much fresh fruit as they want. read more

Awesome cheap fro-yo. Need I say more? No, but I will. For a gas station to have gourmet coffee and fro-yo at your disposal is ingenious. The fro-yo was/is always a delight to fill up on while your topping the tank off. It's my go to snack when I'm in the area. read more

FYI manager Carla that works at this location is a miserable person and likes to try to make other people Miserable as well. I live in walking distance from this RaceTrac to my condo however I will go 10 miles out of my way to go to another race track in order to use my mobile coupons without getting harassed or give an attitude or dirty looks. Coming from someone who has worked in the hospitality business for the last 20 years she seems like she is definitely in the wrong business. I have inquired with other an employee's from local RaceTrac in regards to knowing Carla at this particular RaceTrac and nine out of 10 responses were how horrible of a manager she is and what a bad attitude she has also... It's such a shame that I have to go out of my way to other race RaceTrac just to use my mobile coupons.Very disappointed!!! read more
