This particular Walgreens is well-kept, well-organized, clean, and the staff is friendly. We came of the specific purpose to pick up a few items which we needed, and of course we left with that plus several other random things. A bag of turkey jerky somehow jumped into my basket and we ended up with that as well. The prices are fair at Walgreens, it is very convenient, they also have a Rewards program which you can earn discounts and money back on purchases. Sitting at home one evening realizing you are out of milk? On the road heading to a party and realize you forgot to pick up something to bring? Hungry for some turkey jerky? If you answered yes to any of these questions Walgreens is certainly not far from wherever you are.

VERY disappointing experience at this CVS with extremely rude customers AND manager…read more My mom and I have been customers here for well over 7 years. We are here quite often as my mom has quite a few health issues (aortic dissection, transplant, broken back, high blood pressure, etc.) we have always had a pleasant experience here until tonight. We were running a little later than usual as we had gotten caught up in a prior commitment. Signs all over the store and online say the pharmacy closes at 9. I pull in the parking lot, it's 8:57. I get to the pharmacy, it's 8:58, and I notice all of the bars are down and it seems they are closed. I stand there for a moment, confused, as the sign in the pharmacy also says they close at 9. A few seconds later (still 8:58 by the way) not 1 or 2 but THREE pharmacy techs walk out of the pharmacy. I look at them, and say "hey, I need to pick up a prescription for my mom, it's very important and yall don't close until 9" I was EXTREMELY nice about it. The tech goes on to look at me, scoff and say "if it's so important there's a CVS on Bruce B Downs that's 24 hours. go there." I look at him, confused and offended, as well as two other customers, and I calmly say again "I understand but yall aren't closed yet it is still 8:59" and showed him my watch and phone time. All 3 of the techs continued to walk out the door and ignore me. SO many things are wrong here. They walked out of the store before 9pm. They walked past three customers that needed MEDICINE. the worst part about all of this is when I went to talk to the manager, Caucasian dark haired lady, she did nothing to help and didn't even apologize. The young male employee that was working the register walked back inside as I was walking out and reeked of weed. Same employee who chuckled and followed the pharmacy techs out of the store laughing at 8:59. None of the employees at this store tonight were professional. None of them should have jobs. I understand having a long day and wanting to go home but you don't get to walk out of your job and tell customers to "go to the Bruce b downs location if you really need it" before you close. This is a pharmacy. These are drugs that some people NEED to SURVIVE. it is beyond atrocious that I had to drive 20 mins out of my way and away from my house to get medicine because 3 pharmacy techs are lazy and don't know how to do their jobs. Sad considering my mom and I are good friends with Matt the old pharmacy manager and Nanda, the new one. Do better CVS. Train your employees to treat customers with decency, and your managers to at LEAST apologize for bs like this happening in the store. Honestly this is enough to make me want to just switch pharmacies.
