Having lived in Georgia for many years, I was familiar with RaceTrac, the gas stations and adjoining convenience stores. This particular location in Brunswick was just right off the highway, making it easy for people who want to stop quickly and be on their merry way.... RaceTrac operates more than 550 retail gasoline convenience stores and travel centers in 12 southeastern states. Most RaceTracs feature 20 to 24 fueling positions and a 5000+ sq. ft. convenience store offering over 4,000 items. RaceTrac can be found in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Tennessee, Texas, and Mississippi. I loved the price of the gas here, it was easy to pump it yourself using the self service stations...inside the convenience store I was able to find tons of yummy prepared foods like empanadas, taquitos, sandwiches, subs, etc....all that along the usual snacks, cookies, beer, wine, cold beverages, etc. A great place to stop if you are in the area and want some chicken empanadas......or.....cheap gas........LOL.... read more

The food is good and they are always helpful and kind.even off weed to pump my gas once.

So so so busy, but the staff is doing a great job. The parking lot was clean, the store was well stocked and the ladies at the register were so nice. Our gas was finally a reasonable price. Andddddd...peppermint mocha creamers!!! Iced coffee, hot coffee and everything else you need. Be a little patient, it's the busy season but they are handling it well. It's an absolute nightmare.... over crowded, pumps are slow, and mine did not cut off. Spilled about 1g of fuel before I noticed. Pump did not print a receipt, so I went inside and the one I was given was incorrect. It was from 20min prior, and the clerk said I would have to wait for them to update. After 10min still no update, so I just left. All in all, it took almost 25min to pump 12g of gas. Avoid this location if you can. read more

Just got gas. Didn't have any issues. Store was clean inside. It was busy too. It's next to a few eateries as well so that's cool

Stopped here on the way back from South Carolina to get a bottle of water for me and a bottle of Pepsi Max for the hubby. They don't have a large selection of drinks or snacks here. Lucky for me they had bottled water, but there was no Pepsi Max for the hubby which meant we had to stop again farther down the interstate. The restroom was clean enough, I guess, but it definitely needed some attention. As for cleanliness, the whole store needed attention. Cashier wasn't rude, but wasn't friendly either. Not even a little smile. I'm guessing there was somewhere else he would have rather been than work. Definitely not somewhere we will stop at in the future! read more

This is easily the worst Race Track I've ever been at. I stopped here and pumped $372 in diesel for my RV. Zero receipt at the pump so I had to go in. While inside I tried the bathroom and wow it's closed due to a water issue. Wow really then I walk over to the fountain machine to get a Pepsi and all the heads for the drinks are completely missing and I'm like bro WTH. I walked up to the counter and said so ya what's the deal with the fountain machine. The cashier just looked at me and said heck if I know. I said well how about a receipt for the $372 dollars I just spent for diesel and she said well my registers paper is out so I can't. I looked at her and said WTH is going on at this store mam this his a joke. I asked for the manager and she said she wasn't for sure when they would be in. I'm like ya well this is the last time this store gets a penny from me. What a joke this location has turned into. I will be sending an email to corporate so they know what's happening here because this is not the image Race Track wants their customers to think their brand looks like as well as operates. Every time I stop here the fountain drink machine is down or the bathrooms are out of order. This store needs to be rebuilt from the ground up. The staff are nice enough and I know this stuff is out of their control. read more

Unclean gas station with pump issues, dirty restrooms, and poor service

Easily the worst RaceTrac of all time. I live near by and literally everytime I stop by the bathrooms are out of order, the drink machines are down, the place reeks of mold and the employees look miserable. Half the time they are playing some sort of music while checking you out and look like they just want to do the bare minimum. Would not recommend to anyone. read more

Told both restrooms were "out of order" and clogged because they had no plungers. I call bs because it seemed like they just didn't want anyone using them. Racetrac seems to be going down the tubes here. Quit being lazy because there are many nicer cheaper solutions for fuel. read more

I went into the canal road location in Brunswick, Ga the other day to purchase 2 pks of cigs. My method of payment was 4 rolls of pennies, and 8 dollars or so in loose change($5.00 in qtrs. several dollars in dimes, and some nickels). I stated to the cashier, which was wearing a Manager badge that I hope she needed some change, And I laid my change on counter, and this manager started to speak loudly for all to hear in this store "no you don't, and "no you're not", and even yelled over to another cashier to handle me and count the change. I was counting the change out to her. She went on speaking loudly to continue to embarrass me, making weird faces at me, and looking at other customers and shaking her head at them, showing her discuss with me. While counting out my change to this unprofessional manager, I made the remark that I had never in my 63 years experiened a business that acted like "My money" was a problem to them. The female manager had a bad, nasty attitude, very unprofessional attitude, seemed pleased to embarrass me. In my opinion this person should not be a Manager, she should not even work at a job like this. I felt that she took great pleasure in embarrassing this Disabled Veteran man, (Me). If she is allowed to continue to work at Racetrac, I feel she will continue to taint the good name of Racetrac. read more
