I wasn't trying to drive in to town. I need convenience. The parking lot was clean. I entered my reward card information and then pumped my gas. The place was pretty busy. People coming and going. All very polite. Then I went inside to use the facilities (I know, TMI) and to get some snacks. The bathroom was clean, although a strong dose of bleach could have improved the smell. They had running water (not all places do), but they were out of paper towels, so I had to use the blower. I am not a fan of the blower, but it did work. I then left the restroom and proceeded to check out the snack selection. All the favorites for travelers were present. I picked up some Pringles and some lemonade. Reasonably priced too. I also noticed that there was some kind of frequent shopper card available too, so I picked it up but haven't yet signed up for anything. I need to check it out. The cashier was very pleasant. Clean clothes. Proficient too. She made change for my purchases in her head, because she told me my change before it appeared on the register. She was from the old school of math!! I appreciated that. Tip: put some paper towels in the men's bathroom and add some bleach to the cleaning solution when you mop the floor AND walls.

He came out and tried to help me figure out the problem while there were no other customers. He also charged my phone inside. Many businesses and employees don't care to get involved with someone else's personal problems, such as car issues. He is obviously a kind-hearted person. I don't stop there often, but he was always friendly, polite, and super professional whenever I saw him there. Please give him a raise because his professionalism is off the charts.

Interior The most recent owner has done some stuff to make it look more upscale, like faux interior wood flooring. Price / Value / Food I found some very good deals in the meat department. Unlike any of it's predecessors, they have Boar's Head deli meats. They have a hot bar with stuff like fried chicken, fried pork chops, mac & cheese. Apparently the offerings change daily but there's a schedule (ie fried fish on Fridays). Customer Service As usual, the customer service was top notch. The deli attendant made a mistake and sliced nearly 2.5 lbs of turkey instead of a quarter pound (0.25) and one night when I ventured in, someone from the deli had dished up portions of food and priced them without labeling the contents so the staff had no way of knowing if the containers contained sweet potato casserole, mac n cheese or what - but we all gotta give people grace in this day of struggle staffing. Overall I hope these guys stick around. They also own The Market (restaurant and seafood market).

The parking lot was completely done along with the interior. It's clean, modern and well organized. When it was BiLo it felt horribly crowded. They became the leading supermarket by putting a strong emphasis on customer service. They bring the adage "the customer is always right" to new levels. Add to this fantastic BOGO (buy one, get one free) deals and that alone makes for a winning combination. Add to this the iconic subs that they make in their deli (affectionately known as Pub Subs) and they become virtually unbeatable. These subs are pretty amazing. I usually go with their Italian sub or their roast beef. Both are excellent and I guess anything you would order at their deli counter would be a winner. I must say that I woukd definitely recommend this particular location or any Publix, for that matter. I choose to give it five stars for their steps in making sure a visit to a Publix is always a wonderful experience.
