Great selection with great prices. I know another reviewer said you couldn't have kids with you but it wasn't that way when we were there. A sign says they have to be with a parent and there was a young boy with his dad when we were checking out. read more

My personal opinions of the place and staff non-withstanding, they really do have a grip on the largest wine selection in the county. Pro-tip to those who visit, though: they have a strict "no under 21" policy in the place, and by that I mean whomever goes in there better not be 21 or under. That means no tag-alongs/teenagers, doesn't matter if it's your friend, relative or whatever: they WILL KICK YOU OUT and you will not be able to buy if anyone is under 21 in your posse! My friend and I visited this location while on vacation to Jekyll Island. They had an incredible variety of liquors and beer, the staff was friendly, accommodating, and eager to please. The store was clean, easy to maneuver through, and well lit. In regard to other reviews stating their strict "under 21" policy, there was a sign on the door that stated persons under 21 must be accompanied by a parent. I'm sure the store owners appreciate the usage of general common sense by their visitors. Love JP,s They have a great selection and really do have some of the best prices. The staff are friendly and truly helpful. I have even tried my liquor store test there, asking for assistance and recommendations for their finest cheapo wines. I was treated with courtesy and given all kinds of advice. When asking for advice on two brands of Tequila, I was actually steered towards the cheaper brand with the advice that it was slightly superior to the more expensive bottle. read more
