This three star review is less about the Buc-ees It's self and more about the location and the accessibility from I 95. I stopped in this location on the way down to Jacksonville from Savannah over the weekend and found this location to be really challenging to get in and out of. We pulled into the station around 10 A.M. which I suspect is right about the time they start getting a rush. Traffic was backed up on both exits and even more so getting onto the main road to get into the Buc-ees. Once you got in to the gas station, it didn't get any better with complete chaos in terms of traffic, pedestrian traffic and confusion about which way to enter the pumps. Inside as with all these locations, it was a complete madhouse as well. Aggravating, but ultimately not disimular from any other Buc-ees across the south and southeast. If you are stopping at this location, just plan to be here for about 30 minutes or more, depending on when you pull in. And by the way, there were other gas stations at previous exits that matched Buc-ees gas prices, so unless you are dead set on that barbecue "sammich", you might want to stop elsewhere if you're in a rush. read more

This Buc-ee's was great. Good price on gas, super clean and excellent bathrooms. As always, it's a bit overwhelming inside with all the people, noise and smells. Purchased drinks, sandwiches, sides and dessert. I do wish they had a place outside to sit and eat, but we just drove to a far section of the parking lot to eat our lunch. We had the Carolina Pulled Pork sandwiches. Very good and tender (no gristle or chunks of fat), and very generously filled. The tater tots were seasoned so they were quite addictive. The fried apple hand pie was fantastic (but very messy with the cinnamon sugar) and filled with soft, tart apples (Granny Smith perhaps?). Grabbed a piece of fudge (not pictured) to split later on. The chocolate taste was great but the fudge itself was very soft, not quite gooey, but close. More like a congealed ganache. Not a fan of that texture. All in all, I love Buc-ee's and I'm glad this one is located in Brunswick. read more

Stopped at this Buc-ee's location again on the return trip to Florida. It's an easier and shorter exit from Highway 95 when you're headed north; however, since both north and south exits are solely devoted to Buc-ee's, the southward exit is still convenient as there are no other stores or options in the area. As it usually is, Bucky's was crazy busy. I did grab a chopped brisket sandwich. I would say it was a 6 out of 10 and still satisfying. We also know that Buc-ee's (like Costco) normally has the lowest gas prices in any area so we took advantage of this. Another big advantage of stopping at any Buc-ee's is the cleanliness of their stores as well as restrooms. This location is very well-stocked with all cool things Georgia-related as well as their professional and college sports teams. We did pick up a couple of knickknacks that were unique. read more

This location seems bigger than others. The bathrooms were so clean like usual and the staff were very friendly. They have anything you could be looking for from food to home decor to clothes to pool floats and beach chairs. I highly recommend the chicken sandwich. I will start with the blank canvas they had for this exit off I95- they managed to make numerous large traffic circles and it really does make a huge difference getting in and out of Buc-ee's. The single long line of pumps is different than other locations, it was comical. The only reason why I am giving 3 stars is because of one of the employees... she said do you have 2 cups on that icee... i didn't realize i did. She said if you keep it, I'm charging you for it. Yes there are over a hundred pumps but but but people PARK their cars before pumping gas and go inside to buy something at the store so it is like there are only 40 pumps and when you have a toad and you need the extra room you have to spend more time waiting for the inconsiderates and go around multiple times. Aggravating not to have someone from the store making make some signs advising customers to fill up and move the cars to the empty parking spots in front of the damn store, not sure I am coming back when I have the toad. Going to Buc-ee's in an experience. For this particular location, I don't love the traffic flow design. The steady stream of vehicles coming in from one direction is not ideal for pedestrians, mainly those trying to reach the designated pet areas. The bad drivers present don't help either. Use caution. We had to drive down a ways to find an available gas pump, but we finally got one. There are a plethora of pumps, parking spaces, bathroom stalls, and checkout registers. Parking was easy. The bathroom is vast, but multiple stalls were closed/unavailable. I was able to find an open one at the very back. I appreciate the level of privacy in the stall as well as the wall mounted hand sanitizer. Checking out was efficient and the staff is exuberant as you first enter. The food has always been tasty. Fun merchandise if you have time to browse, which I didn't. The sheer scope of the place is definitely impressive. read more

It was a must to stop at Bu-cee's. I have never stopped in the morning before so I was slightly disappointed that there were only breakfast sandwiches out. I did though get a sausage egg cheese taco and it was a bit messy but delicious. $1.99 iced coffee couldn't go wrong with that. A breakfast under $7.00 was great. The inside was very clean. This location is another mandatory stop over to refuel, recharge, and relieve ourselves. Lots of gas pumps to choose from and plenty of parking all around. We came in late at night so it was well lit and virtually empty. Despite the emptiness, there were many attendants working around--cookong, cleaning, prepping, and managing the checkout counter. I love how well maintained the area looks inside and outside the building. They are well stocked with inventory and the food is all hot and ready. There were many clean and spacious restroom stalls to choose from. I also appreciate how their soap dispenser is placed in an area that is easily accessible for my kiddos. However, I noticed that the particular sink I was using had a faucet that splashed water everywhere. It was a bit of an inconvenience to use so I hope they would check in on their appliances and their functionality. At 3am, they had hot food ready to go so we grabbed their Chicken Fajita. It's on the smallish size and decently priced. It has good flavor and a little bit of spice, which we can tolerate. No "free refills", even for a cup of water, so we bought their large cup for 99¢ to fill with water (as opposed to $1.99 to utilize their "refill fee" on our own reusable waterbottle). There are lots of merch and snacks available, which are reasonably priced. We definitely grabbed a few sweet snacks to enjoy on our trip. It's been a pleasant experience for us whenever we get the chance to stop by, so we definitely recommend stopping by if you're able. I just wish they could also pay attention to some things that are not meeting expectations. read more

I stopped at Buc-ee's in Brunswick, GA, for gas and some shopping. I'm not sure if there's ever a time when Buc-ee's isn't packed with people. The number of gas pumps means you never have to wait to fill up your car. The store is incredible! They have a vast array of items, which can take up to an hour to explore. From snacks to hot, ready-to-eat meals, clothing, and souvenirs, there's so much to see. Be sure to factor in enough time for this stop so you don't feel rushed. The bathrooms are extremely clean. Each stall is private, with no gaps to look through, which is a nice touch. There's even a light above each stall to indicate whether it's occupied or available, which is very much appreciated. Buc-ee's has a cult following and this location is part of the reason. It's HUGE and perfectly maintained and cleaned. There are many, many gas pumps, so you can usually find an open one and pull right up. This is even with those evil people who park at the pump (blocking it) and go inside for a while! :-( The restrooms are large and very clean. The hot food stations have a large variety of food to choose from. It's not gourmet dining, but tasty and filling. There are hundreds of items for purchase as well. We visited this location around 1am on a drive back to Jacksonville from Savannah. We wanted to stop and fill up the gas tank and get drinks. This location has it's own exit off the freeway, with no stop lights and only round-a-bouts to control traffic. Since it was the middle of the night, it was very calm and no delays with traffic, so I'm not sure how busy it gets. There are so many gas pumps, I think more than I've seen at any other location. The gas was cheaper than some of the other gas stations nearby. We were able to get some snacks and drinks inside. There were no lines, but the employees were all very nice. The store was very clean and as always the bathrooms were clean too. This was a great Buc-ees location. read more

This was actually my first time in a Buc-ee's, so it was a lot to take in! First off, they have 100 gas pumps to fill up at, which is actually pretty incredible by itself. Other than dodging cars to get to an actual pump (the parking lot can be busy) there were plenty to choose from and I did not have to wait to get gas. What really makes Buc-ee's stand out from the rest of the gas stations is the size and the amount of items that they carry. The have an entire section filled with clothing, swag, gadgets, and just about anything you could possibly think of. What I really like was that there was lots of different premade food options to choose from. If you're in a hurry, you don't have to wait for someone to put something together! I tried the brisket sandwich on this trip which is pretty good for being a grab and go item. I liked that they offer onions and pickles as complimentary items to have along with the sandwich. Also, it was pretty amazing that they have an entire section dedicated to beef jerky in what seems like dozens of different flavors. Around the week of the Fourth of July each year, we drive from Pennsylvania to Florida for vacation, and to visit family. On the way down this year, we noticed this new Buc-ee's on the northbound side of the highway. It looked nearly completed, so I decided to get some more information on it. After looking it up online, we realized we were a few days too early and that it would be opening that next week. Luckily, it was open by the time our trip concluded so we stopped in about a week after they opened. We were excited to visit, as there was no Buc-ee's directly on our path of travel before this was built. I believe the land on and surrounding this Buc-ee's was previously undeveloped. They built up the exit, and there are some roundabouts that are required to actually get to the store. There is nothing else on the lot, so there is plenty of parking. We had no issue finding a spot. Considering it was brand new, it was not as crowded as I anticipated. We visited around 8 PM on a Wednesday in July. I have been to several different Buc-ee's locations, and comparatively speaking, this is a smaller location. However, it still has all of the essentials and amenities people come to except of this place - plenty of gas pumps, all of the brisket and meats, merchandise, and of course the bathrooms. I enjoyed looking around and seeing a brand-new location on this visit. There were several corporate employees helping to train the new staff, and it was enjoyable to speak with them and give my suggestions for products and varieties of items they already carry. Because of their presence, everything seemed to be running very efficiently and quickly - extra hands will help with that! They were also helpful in answering general questions and locating particular items. We picked up some merchandise and pre-packaged food to take back home for family and friends. Additionally, I was able to buy several magnets to continue with collections I have going. My cashier was friendly and kind. I enjoyed asking him about how the opening week was and what their volume of customers had been. He said that when we were there was really one of the first times, besides overnight, that they had not been extremely busy and full of customers! The prices here are comparable with any other Buc-ee's location. Some things are a great value, and some are more pricy. I always think the merchandise is very fairly priced. Some of the food items can be a little expensive, but it likely is due to them being meat-based. I think the majority of the convenience food items are priced fairly. Very glad that the timing of our trip worked out to be able to see this brand-new Buc-ee's location in Brunswick! As stated, this is now the sole location on our 900+ mile drive from Pittsburgh to North Central Florida. It will definitely serve a lot of travelers, including us, when we are passing through this area. Look forward to future visits! read more

Omg this is the CRAZIEST Buc-ees that I have EVER seen! There was a long line of cars coming in off Buc-ees Boulevard to get into the first entrance. My husband took the back road and got right in. I was surprised that there were a lot of available parking spots with all the traffic. This location has been open for 2 months. The layout inside is different than the Daytona Beach & Florence locations. I didn't see a Tortilla Station that Daytona Beach has. I was expecting a long line for the restroom but was pleasantly surprised that I was able to walk right in. As with all Buc-ees, the bathrooms are spotless and I love that they now have lights outside the stalls so you know if they are occupied or not. The registers on the east side weren't crowded and I was able to check out very quickly. read more

So happy this location opened up in the coastal area. After leaving Jekyll and heading back north, this was a less than 20 minute drive from the beach to Buccee's. I went in a Friday evening, and it wasn't as busy as other buccees I've been to, I hope it stays this way but I know if it does get busy, there's plenty of staff, gas pumps, and space to accommodate! I appreciate the way they created the traffic flow to minimize back up, but I will admit that it's a little confusing! I left with the jerky and a hot sauce - always plan to spend at least $40 when walking into this massive space of all things indulgent. My bagged jerky contents seems less than I'm used to, so I'll most likely get it from the fresh section versus pre bagged moving forward. Either way, it tasted good! read more
