I wasn't trying to drive in to town. I need convenience. The parking lot was clean. I entered my reward card information and then pumped my gas. The place was pretty busy. People coming and going. All very polite. Then I went inside to use the facilities (I know, TMI) and to get some snacks. The bathroom was clean, although a strong dose of bleach could have improved the smell. They had running water (not all places do), but they were out of paper towels, so I had to use the blower. I am not a fan of the blower, but it did work. I then left the restroom and proceeded to check out the snack selection. All the favorites for travelers were present. I picked up some Pringles and some lemonade. Reasonably priced too. I also noticed that there was some kind of frequent shopper card available too, so I picked it up but haven't yet signed up for anything. I need to check it out. The cashier was very pleasant. Clean clothes. Proficient too. She made change for my purchases in her head, because she told me my change before it appeared on the register. She was from the old school of math!! I appreciated that. Tip: put some paper towels in the men's bathroom and add some bleach to the cleaning solution when you mop the floor AND walls.

I stopped in this location on the way down to Jacksonville from Savannah over the weekend and found this location to be really challenging to get in and out of. We pulled into the station around 10 A.M. which I suspect is right about the time they start getting a rush. Traffic was backed up on both exits and even more so getting onto the main road to get into the Buc-ees. Once you got in to the gas station, it didn't get any better with complete chaos in terms of traffic, pedestrian traffic and confusion about which way to enter the pumps. Inside as with all these locations, it was a complete madhouse as well. Aggravating, but ultimately not disimular from any other Buc-ees across the south and southeast. If you are stopping at this location, just plan to be here for about 30 minutes or more, depending on when you pull in. And by the way, there were other gas stations at previous exits that matched Buc-ees gas prices, so unless you are dead set on that barbecue "sammich", you might want to stop elsewhere if you're in a rush.

While other stores or gas stations have come and gone this one has stood firm. The staff is always friendly, the store is always clean, and its open 24 hours. It's a little bit off the beaten path but worth it as the gas is generally cheaper than the other places you pull off of I95 to refuel at.
