I went to Raby's (no coincidence that it's pronounced like the disease that causes you to foam at the mouth) to get a price on wood flooring. They charged me $50 to measure my house and finally came back two weeks later with an absurdly high price quote, including a number of things I hadn't requested and weren't required. When I questioned the proposal the saleswoman ignored my questions altogether and stopped responding to my emails. I sent a final message requesting the measurements I paid for and that message was ignored as well. Don't waste your time with Raby's unless you enjoy poor, unresponsive service and want to pay a premium for it. I've worked with many contractors over the years and have never had a worse experience. It cost me $50 to learn how bad they are. I'll save you the money and trouble. Run! read more

We remodeled our entire kitchen and Raby supplied the cabinets. They definitely went above and beyond for us. I was a bit indecisive and their interior designer took so much time to help me pick colors. She even Facetimed with me so she could see my home, and help give advice. Bob, helped with measuring everything, and was so patient with us in deciding what cabinet and drawer sizes to order. The cabinets did take a little while to come in, however, it was completely worth the wait. Their installer was incredible, and made sure everything was 100% perfect. He even installed the handles at no additional cost. We are now remodeling a few additional rooms in our home, and will only order our cabinets through Raby. Overall, great experience, and I highly recommend Raby for high quality cabinets and customer service. read more

This is the second time we have used Raby Home Solutions. As was the case with the first time (full house of new carpeting), we found the showroom to be well arranged and Leslie, our sales person, was well informed and very helpful in helping us determine our needs. The ordering process was easy. Leslie indicated a two-three week delivery timeframe which turned out to be accurate. The men who installed the new bathroom flooring were very professional and obviously quite experienced. They were able to finish the project within three days. I didn't look at these negative reviews at the time we purchased our floor. And I am glad I didn't. We had a COMPLETELY different experience. Pleasant from the beginning to the end. Knowledgeable staff (Leslie) and the owner (Mr Ralph David Raby) himself came to measure our house for the laminate flooring we put in. The man they contracted with to do the installation was above reproach. He worked continuously during a hot summer week. I NEVER saw him taking a break. And everything was installed perfectly. I have looked at these floors for one year and I can not find any flaws or repetition of the pattern. This is from a very "attention-to-detail retired math teacher"!!! Had Raby's Home Solutions put in a USA Made vinyl planks, for $16,000, the installation we were told would take 4 days, but ended up taking 10 days. The 2 man crew were very knowledgeable on the install. However, 2/3 through the install they realized they didn't order enough flooring. Our house was incomplete for 4 weeks while waiting for the new shipment to arrive. Once flooring arrived, it did not match the first batch that was already installed. This issue was brought up to the owner and sales rep. We were under the impression the owner would come by to see the floor, but instead we were told Raby's were going to put in a claim for the floor to be resolved. The owner offered us $500 to live with the current mis-matched flooring or install completely different flooring through out house for and additional $1,600. Again, we went back asking for someone to come see the finished project. There were a few other things with the project that needed attention, they refused to come look at and fix. Not happy, we needed Raby's to come up with a better solution. It was an awful exsperience, no accountabilty, owner was not reasonable. Many times we had asked for an email options to resolve the issue and never received one. Extremely unprofessional. read more

As an update. We were able to contact the owner of this company. The owner came out to inspect the job and informed my mother that this in fact was not a satisfactory job. To make things right Floor Mart replaced all of the baseboards/door frames in her house (allowing my mother to choose the style) all at no cost. They definitely made the situation right... No customer service...No follow up on a very small order that was to be the start of a very large order...it was in Albuquerque but had not been delivered and when I called to find out why and the delivery date to Santa fe...( my tile installer was waiting) ...If this woman had been any more disinterested I would have fallen asleep... I was told Maybe sometime in the next three days...I told her that I needed a little better answer then " maybe sometime" and if you can believe it, her response was that " that wasn't going to happen", needless to say, the plumber, the tile installer, and the concrete man all had to have new appointments with me...set me back about 10 more days.........it was all down hill from there....Pretty Bad!!!!!!! Excellent. We found our tile and carpet here for our kitchen, den and outdoor patio. We shopped around and this store was basically the same price as what we were quoted at Lowes and Home Depot. But there was comfort in dealing with a local business, talking to the same salesperson when we came in, who took notes and kept a file of our home project. They were very helpful and informative, without trying to over-sell our project. The store has many tile options laid out, and many installed in the store, like in 10'x10' squares, so we could see what it was going to look like when it was installed at our house - - this alone was invaluable -- rather than just taking a sample home and 'hoping' it looks good. The staff was very very helpful and the entire process, and the same salesperson was there when we came in - unfortunately at the Big Box's there was different staff there and it was like starting from scratch explaining the project every time we went in. We got just was we wanted and the entire process was streamlined. Thank you!! read more

I bought wood floors and tile from Floormart for my whole lower level in my home. It was a huge purchase but I was happy with the prices and Lorraine the saleswoman was very helpful. The installers did a great job but a couple of weeks later the finish on a few boards began flaking off at the edges. I called the store and they sent someone out (I think it was the owner's son) to look at it. He oohed and ahhed and said he'd never seen that before and they would replace them. For the next 12 MONTHS I called every few weeks asking when someone was going to come and fix my floors. Each time I was told by the person on the phone that a work order would be created but nobody every called or came. Last week I called the corporate office and complained and was cut short by the woman who said she couldn't do anything but relay the message and someone would call me. Nobody called. This week - one year later - I called the store and asked for the manager and was told he wasn't in. I left a message that I wanted a call back and why. I was assured the manager would call me but nobody called. The next day I called and asked for the manager again and spoke to the owner. When I told him my story he said, "I don't know what's taken so long I'll look into it," and hung up on me. I called right back and he was on the other line so I left a message that I didn't care what took so long I just wanted my floor fixed. Shortly thereafter, the owner called me back and I tried to explain again my concerns but he cut me off and told me I had to be patient. I told him I HAD been patient FOR A YEAR at which point he hung up on me again. I was shocked. Stunningly bad customer service. I got on their website and sent a message to them that this was unacceptable and if I didn't get my floor fixed this week I was going to file a complaint with the BBB. An hour later the owner called me back and said someone would be at my house the next morning. The installers showed up and repaired my floor which took a couple of hours. So my floor is fixed but waiting for a year to get this done is unbelievable. Hanging up on a customer is unforgivable. I won't go back. No price is low enough to be treated this way. I have heard stories about the owner of Floormart and his nasty attitude. And now I know why. read more

I spent an extra $1000 to purchase a carpet installation with natural fiber that was supposed to come clean with only water. The purchase price included 2 carpet cleanings done by Floor Mart "professionals." The carpet installation itself was poorly done, seams were visible within the first few months. The carpet quickly showed dirt and so I asked for the first of my cleaning services within 1 year. The service technicians left behind a sopping wet carpet that was slippery from all the soap product. Several calls to Floor Mart to address these issues while still under their "Warranty" resulted in no improvement at all. The carpet continued to wear poorly, looking filthy and showing the seams. We tried cleaning it ourselves and though we did it properly and pulled the extra cleaning product out so the carpet was left only slightly damp, it NEVER came clean. I replaced all the carpet after only 4 years. read more

We had FloorMart install about 2200sqft of tile and vinyl flooring. The tile is fine, but they did not properly level the floor prior to laying the vinyl laminate floating floor, so the downstairs sounds hollow and you can see the floor flexing. After numerous phone calls about the issues as well as the stair caps coming unglued, they finally sent someone over to evaluate the floors, and they immediately said it wasn't right and needed to come up and be re-leveled. They told us to clear the room and rip out the baseboards that we installed ourselves after the floor....well the show up and they aren't going to do anything to fix it. So now we are left to reinstall, caulk, and paint baseboards and move all our furniture back and live with a floor that will feels super cheap and the tongue and grove joints will probably break in a few years from the stress of flexing anytime there is weight on it. Upstairs the floor is solid and doesn't sound hollow for the most part, but you can find a few mushy spots....I can live with that, but 70% of the floor downstairs sounds hollow and flexes under your feet. So much for their warranty. read more
