Hands down the best Thai place in Jacksonville area. I would cross the bridge every time to get Thai food because it's THAT GOOD. Food: I have tried the panang and green curry, both with chicken. Phenomenal. The curry base is rich, packed with flavor, the protein was cooked well and really absorbed the base of the curry. My friend got the pad kee mao and he inhaled it. Service: The main person who is the waiter and greets you is very very kind. They are fast at filling your water when it gets close to running out. The biggest thing- he was very good at giving suggestions in terms of how to adjust the soup so it has the taste profile we were looking for! Ambience: The place is clean, and the inside is decorated very cutely. It's a great lunch spot, have come two times and definitely plan to come more. Looking forward to bringing family and friends! We decided to come back after new ownership and re-branding and they brought back the sushi menu! Service was great and attentive and the food was just as good! We had their Thai tea, Beef Pad Thai, appetizer sampler, and the Big boss roll (shrimp tempura and crab, seared tuna and avocado on top) and everything was wonderful. The pad thai was a smidge on the sweeter side but we still enjoyed all the flavors. The sushi was delightful and the tuna was super fresh. The Thai tea was fantastic and just the right amount of sweetness! Our friend had the appetizer sampler and he finished each and every single bite on that tray! He kept complimenting how great the food was and was excited to come back! It is a little pricey but the portion sizes were decent. Wow! The food is delicious!... they offered a variety of food that I haven't tried before in a Thai restaurant. I ordered their pork belly Kure-pao and it's super delicious. Tom Kha soup is just to die for and my wife had the se-saw noodles which is just amazing as well. Finished it off with their dessert sticky mango rice. It was not that spicy and would absolutely try a level 3 or 4 next time and extra noodles, cause I like noodles. The flavor and portion size was amazingI had the jumbo lump crab meat fried rice. LISTEN!!! You can see the jumbo lump crab. You don't have to wonder or question if it's real. The service was great! Pesh answered all of our questions, and gave great recommendations. Kept our drinks filled, very professional and made sure our visit was pleasant. The ambiance was nice too. It does not feel like a store front at all. This will be a hard review to give. I love to champion the small stores and restaurants who are trying to make it. But I also have to be honest about my experience so you can temper your expectations. I ordered Door Dash from Ra-Moon tonight with a simple order of two sushi rolls, two soups, and one appetizer. They have multiple delivery partners so feel free to select your service of choice. The food arrived on time/ a few min early! Yay! But they gave me one sushi roll that was Not what I ordered. I wanted a spicy tuna and a dragon roll. I got a spicy tuna (more rice than tuna) and a California roll covered in sweet brown sauce?! A far cry from shrimp tempura. The appetizer was fresh spring rolls. There was not much love put into these but the shrimp were large, came with a hoisin instead of peanut sauce. Disappointing, sadly. The sushi was blah, getting the wrong roll even when you're hungry can put a kibosh on happy eating thoughts. They were basic, not exciting, and the spicy tuna was more rice than fish. The two soups were Tom Kha with chicken. Generally a favorite, especially at Thai restaurants- but here, they got the recipe wrong, or at least quite not what most Thai restaurants would make. It was heavily sweet, and included root vegetables (unchewable) and tomatoes. I don't want a sweet candy flavored soup with chicken, no, thank you. In all a very disappointing food experience. I was nearby and wanting some more of their tuna crackers. Sadly, their sushi menu is no more. That being said, I enjoyed their lunch special menu. Clear soup had a great depth of flavor and the crunchy roll had a nice amount of protein to veggie ratio not always found on a special. I took the chicken pad basil to go. We placed an online Togo order. This was our first time ordering here and like any first time we didn't know what to expect. The online ordering was easy to follow and allowed up to make modifications to for our preference. We arrived a little before our pickup time. It took a min to be acknowledged as no one was up front. Is recommend a Bell or something on the door to alert them when they are in the kitchen. There were only two tables occupied while I was there. Once greeted I was informed they were still preparing my order and was offered a drink and a seat while I waited. The space overall was cute. The food was prepared well and to our modifications. Admittedly, I have a love for Thai food. This was a new place for me, and I was not disappointed. The staff were very attentive and the place itself was quiet and well put together. Altogether we had spring rolls, pad Thai, panag curry and pineapple fried rice. The pad Thai was a little sweeter than what I'm used to, but was still good. The curry was probably one of my favorites and was a spot on. Even the heat level was perfect. The fried rice had kind of a smoky taste to it, but I think it's because of the way they cooked it with cashews in it. Again, very tasty. Came here for a friend's birthday dinner. Had a party of 8 and they were able to seat all of us together. Although I wouldn't recommend a larger party here. The atmosphere is more laid back it seems, so luckily we were the only people here when we started talking a little bit loud. Anyway. First thing I noticed is that the beers were all $6. Domestic and Import. They don't serve liquor here. For those that don't drink beer, or wine. I ordered the Panang Curry seafood mix - spice level 1, and my wife ordered the Tom Yum seafood fried rice - spice level 2. All of our meals were Instagram worthy. They do, do a great job at presentation. Taste wise. Mine was a little spicy, and honestly not a lot of seafood, especially for the price. My wife enjoyed the Tom Yum soup that came with the fried rice, but she couldn't finish her meal because it was too spicy. Service was okay. Food came out at different times. They did forget my drink along with a bill mix up, but it didn't ruin anything. We also go the Thai potstickers over panag curry, alone with the drunken noodles and the pad Thai. All of our dishes were level 3 of spicy level. The servers always make the experience so wonderful. Have not been here since the reopening under the new name. Now, I know why. The only positive thing about the restaurant is that the lunch time service and decor was very good. The Thai food was for people who have no idea what Thai food tastes like. I actually had the server admit that they do not prepare the food in some cases with Fish Sauce, because foreigners do not like the smell or taste! So don't thing that the food you are eating is "Authentic ", like so many people like to say. I lived in Bangkok for 4 years and then Phnom Penh for 6. This review is about the restaurant's appearance, not the dish it's served in. If you're not a fan of using metal utensils in metal bowls, please let the staff know in advance. It is always a joy to see new restaurants on the Westside. I had no idea when this cute place opened until I saw an ad on FB. One way to know that this is authentic is that they placed an offering in front of their business. When you enter on the right, you'll find a cute little setup: a water fountain with a bench. You'd walk through a little arch to the main room. They have a small board that lists their specials for parties of 2 or more. I do like the atmosphere of the place. IMO the lighting is perfect, low and not too bright. They did have music, but it was NOT overpowering, so you wouldn't have to raise your voice. There was a cute touch lantern on each table that you could adjust the brightness of yourself. While it was not busy when we went, there were a few customers. We did see 1 waitress, as in many cases, they will tell you to pick a seat. After serving the previous table, she came to our table with a smile. She was a well-dressed young lady, her hair pinned back and not all over the place. We ordered their "Fresh Rolled Shrimp) The shrimp was NOT cooked ahead of time, as evidenced by its texture when it's served, nor was it overcooked. It had Lettuce, shrimp, and julienne-sliced cucumbers. It wasn't as compact as the ones in other places. They offered hoisin and sriracha as the dipping sauce. Because my husband cannot eat anything spicy, she offered it separately. We appreciated how they did the roll; you got a whole shrimp, not just half. The presentation is also a plus because when they cut the roll in half, they made sure each half had a whole shrimp. (If you know, you know) We ordered Papaya salad( som tam), and my husband could hear the crunch of the papaya, which tells you how fresh it is. IMO, it was a bit sweet for my taste, but it still tasted good! Each restaurant will make it different, so that's not a problem. We also ordered Chicken salad (Laarp Gai). It was GOOD but lacked ground rice flavoring IMO. Hubby ordered Thai Fried rice with Tofu, and that was delicious, very well seasoned. I love my Thai curry when it's made correctly. I did make a request for more curry sauce (I do this everywhere I go) and wanted to see if this place was accommodating. THEY WERE!!! (While they did offer more sauce, I did find that it was watered down, but it still deserved the Happy Dance because I got more sauce!) Presentation of each dish was pretty! What's more annoying than anything when you're trying to eat is when you have a waitress/waiter constantly coming to your table asking if everything is okay or not right? Well We had NO such problem! She would walk towards our table to see if we needed a refill of our water, but she left us to enjoy the food. I pray this restaurant Lots of Luck; I feel they will survive if they stay consistent with their cooking style, ingredient quality, and portions. Would we go back after this experience? I love this Thai restaurant! The staff is always friendly whenever we have come to visit. We've gone only twice since we discovered it but I love the food and the calm atmosphere while dining. Both times we had gotten the Som Tam (papaya salad) and I keep wanting more. Get it Laos style. ;) We asked for a level 3 spice on it but it can go up to 5. For my entrees I got a 4 spice each time. The Green Curry was so yummy. I haven't gotten it in a while at other Thai spots so I wanted to try it out here and I can't wait to try the other ones. The Drunken Noodles and Pad Thai were amazing too. I will definitely be frequenting this restaurant more often since it's local and closer to home. read more

Lovely decor and smells amazing as you walk in. I had a Thai tea which is one of the best I've had. We started with dumplings and rangoons. These were not the best. I found them lacking flavor and the crab Rangoons had no crab flavor at all. The dumplings were bland but the sauce was good The pad Thai was amazing. I would probably up the heat next time but that's on me for choosing medium. You just never know so started there. The server was amazing. She seemed to be able to sense when we needed service and was right there. Very friendly and helpful. This store has turned over a bunch of times since I've been in the area, and the quality has varied. It's a nice enough place- I've eaten there in previous iterations, but have just done takeout recently. They've ended their sushi offerings recently, but I was just asking for thai stuff. The crispy rolls were not particularly crispy, but definitely greasy, like the deep fryer hadn't had time to come up to temperature. The Tom Kha that I ordered at 5/5 spicy level tasted like 2/5. I understand that "thai hot" is a myth for most people from this part of the world, but.... Do I need to ask for 12/5 to get some heat? The young lady that I dealt with was very nice and accommodating. I would recommend for a pleasant experience, but nothing mind blowing. read more

I can only speak on the Tom Kha soup, I have never been to this restaurant in person. I recently had the Tom Kha soup DoorDashed to me. I have never been so disappointed in a Thai dish before. I ordered the large size so it came in a big container... 90% of it seem to be extremely watered down coconut milk with no seasoning. Floating at the bottom was too tiny Kafir leaves, about five slivers of onion, maybe one sliced mushroom, and about five pieces of extremely dry unseasoned thinly sliced chicken that tasted like it came out of a can. There was no flavor to the soup, and the soup was most of what was in the large container. The ad said that it had scallions and cilantro, and there was none of that. Their other dishes might be good, I don't know, but I won't waste money finding out. read more

Ordered door dash one night and ordered the dumplings, Thai Fried Rice with pork and the Crispy Duck. The fried rice was okay though it may have been chicken instead of pork; it didn't really pop with flavor. The dumplings and sauce went very well together. Very tasty. The Crispy Duck with teriyaki and veggies was amazing! The duck was seasoned and very flavorful and the veggies complemented it very well. Overall, very good and I will eat here again. read more

I love the food and the name, so catchy, like to the moon, stock trading. It is awesome. I must try different dish next time. If you can improve, for example the shrimp from costco unpeel and peel it, slice the back, removed the vein. It is better taste than from the package peeled. New Thai restaurant for me and new food adventure. Started out with Thai ice tea - very tasty. Next the crab rangoons (largest stuffed I've ever seen). Next came soup and egg roll. Then the Massamum curry cashew chicken with jasmine rice. Before I tell you how it tasted, let me say I do not try a lot of different Thai foods. I mostly stick with the Massamum curry cashew chicken. Yes, I've tried this dish at several restaurants. And yes - this was the BEST I have ever had. It is not polite to lick the bowl in public, but I thought about it. My friend ordered the Thai ice tea, dumplings and shrimp pad Thai. Overall, delicious. The restaurant was nicely theme decorated and clean (bathroom too). Our server was friendly and attentive, especially letting us know details about some of the foods. In addition to the delicious food, they offer beer, wine and saki. Check out their Happy Hour (we were there too early to partake).
