I had been a loyal customer for nearly nine years. Over this time, I have rented various pieces of equipment, such as floor sanders and excavators, and purchased tools including axes and a chainsaw. On this occasion, I rented a six-inch wood chipper. The chipper was unable to grind even small branches under two inches in diameter, which indicates significant mechanical issues. Upon discovering this problem, I immediately contacted their staff. I was instructed to return the equipment and assured that I would be "taken care of." Upon returning the chipper within an hour of receiving it, I was informed that the only other chipper available was also inoperable, making it impossible for me to complete the work as planned. The next day, I spoke with Brian, the owner. He informed me that he would not provide a refund for the rental. The fine print on their contract indemnified them from any liability. Equipment issues may occur from time to time, but a reputable business takes accountability and seeks to make things right for its customers. This business is happy to take your money, but will not be there for you when something goes wrong. I paid for a service that was not provided.

The 2nd time we rented a lift (about a month later) the controls in the bucket would not work. We should've known when the mechanic stated they have repaired this lift 6 times. We called to let them know we would be returning, however, they wouldn't refund the charge. Apparently, we were supposed to stop everything that day and return it to them right after we spoke with them. They used to be Total Grand Rental. They have no pride in their work or business. Go elsewhere. Their pricing may be good, but how much is your time worth?

I discovered they've had a renaissance with customer service and repairs. I was told they fired the problem mechanics. My John Deere 13-horsepower snow blower is obsolete and no longer supported. They searched for and found the discontinued flywheel and installed it. I had continuous updates as to the status, progress, and plan for repair. Thanks to Antonio, Jack, and Nick, my machine plowed like a champ in today's snowstorm in Munds Park. My name is Lou, and I stand by my review.

I own a lot in Payson and live in Oregon, I rented some equipment to clean up my vacant lot. I…read morearrived at 8:15 am on a Saturday to find them getting my equipment warmed up and ready to go. they took time to show me how to operate the equipment & even offered to let me test drive it there to get familiar if I wanted. They also help me with loading and checking to make sure the lights worked on the trailer. The process was smooth and was treated fairly. I ended up not using one piece of equipment that I reserved for the whole day, I called them at 11 am to let them know I wasn't going to need it. They came out and picked it up (since I paid for delivery service) and charge me appropriately for a 1/2 day. I Returned the last piece of equipment on Sunday night and left it in their yard for Monday morning since I had to catch a flight out on Monday. I call them Monday am to just confirm they had seen I returned it, the man I spoke with said he hadn't noticed but no worries he would handle it. The transaction was smooth and had no problems with the equipment.

When I came to pick everything up on the day of the wedding, I was informed that they did not have the number of heaters I requested. Since there is no other rental company, I was stuck with what they had. The guy that showed me how to work the propane heaters was very rude. I asked if all of the heaters had been checked....he said "of course!". Got everything to the venue and tried to light the propane heaters. Only 3 would light. Despite help from the freezing guests, was never able to light the others. The kicker on all of this was when I went to return them the next day, I was charged for all 6 and was told "well they all worked when you picked them up." Wow.

This business is horrible. We rented a boat for a 24 hr period starting at 12. When we got the boat…read morein the water, the trolling motor barely worked. We ended up paddling around the lake with two oars so we could get anywhere. The experience really ruined our lake enjoyment. When the owner was called about the problem, he suggested driving the 20 miles to swap out the motor. After paddling for two hours we loaded the boat up and when we returned it, the owner was rude. He stated that he could do nothing for us except trade out the motor. He was unwilling to credit back any of the money and said that was it. It's too bad that this was the only rental that we could find. So much for fun at the lake.
